"Socioeconomic equality and dinner make excellent bedfellows, or at least they do at Lola. The restaurant strives to take care of its staff with a new approach to the kitchen hierarchy that places an emphasis on inclusion and a work/life balance. If you just want a great meal, however, Lola also delivers. The menu is influenced by the culturally diverse team who devise it, with dishes like Ecuadorian-inspired ceviche served alongside unagi-style eggplant with black sticky rice. Based near the famous Freetown Christiania and keen to remain a neighborhood spot that serves every member of the community, this place is always welcoming.
