"When people ask us where they should eat in Montreal, we usually try to tailor our answer to their needs. But if there’s one thing we find ourselves repeating so often that we’ve debated printing it on a business card, it’s this: Try to get a table at Joe Beef and if you can’t, go to Liverpool House. It’s a neighborhood spot - more laid-back and less likely to knock you out for half a day than its predecessor.
