"Lower East Side local food distribution group, Canal Cafeteria recently set up a weekend farmer’s market partnership with Caribbean restaurant Las’ Lap on Orchard Street. And, this weekend, NYC-based bakery Cait’s Key Lime Pie will also be there with fresh pies from 10am until they’re sold out. A portion of the profits from their farmer’s market produce sales benefit Canal Cafeteria’s weekly food distribution within the community.
