"The oldest spot on this guide, Elias Corner makes up for its quieter dining room with a very pleasant back patio that gets the perfect amount of sun all day long. Carafes of wine from $15 don’t hurt either. Whatever is displayed in the fish case at the front of the restaurant is what you’ll be having for dinner, but perfectly charred octopus and tender fried sardines are regulars on our table. The Greek restaurant has been a neighborhood staple for nearly half a century, and we like it best for a big, casual meal full of simply grilled fish, with a bit of lemon and red wine vinegar poured over the top." - willa moore, will hartman, sonal shah
