"Walk a few blocks north of the L train stop at Jefferson Street, and you’ll find a bunch of warehouses, some old train tracks, and Chicha. It’s a Nicaraguan restaurant with high ceilings, a pink-and-blue pastel color scheme, and a long bar where you can hang out and eat. The menu is mostly made up of smaller things like chicharrones, yuca fritters, and a Nicaraguan street food called quesillo - a corn tortilla with cheese and pickled onions that you can eat in roughly one bite. So don’t count on those to fill you up. If you’re looking for something bigger, the roasted pork with crispy rice and plantains is pretty good. Although for now, the cocktails are probably the best things here. Get the one the one topped with pineapple froth. It’s the “Surfer On Acid.”" - Bryan Kim
