Kill Devil House of Dark Spirits

Cocktail bar · Williamsburg

"Sure, the name sounds like a Halloween-themed Escape The Room challenge, but try not to let that throw you off. This dimly-lit Williamsburg bar makes some fantastic cocktails, many of which are rum-based (our favorite, “Two Wooden Legs,” has black rum, sherry, and herbal liqueur). While the ice cubes are branded with a devil’s tail, there’s a red neon devil’s tail on the wall, and most drinks have vaguely ominous names, that’s about as far as this place goes towards having a “dark” theme. For the most part, it’s just a conveniently located bar with excellent cocktails and some outdoor seating on the corner of Bedford and Grand." - Matt Tervooren
