"The competition for downtown dining dollars is cutthroat, but White Oak has two things working in its favor: 1) the restaurant sits directly across the street from the always-bustling Hyatt Regency and 2) its menu of Southern-influenced specialties is better than almost anything you can find within walking distance at lunch or dinner. The farmhouse-inspired space is bright and has more than enough room to handle the chatty conventioners walking over from the hotel.
