The 12 Best Burritos In NYC

"When La Taq—formerly La Taqueria—closed in 2011, it left Park Slope with a pig-shaped hole in its heart. Now, the neighborhood Mexican spot is back with a multitude of modest burrito options on the menu. But if you’re going to go burrito, go big. The Outrageous California costs $19, and when it’s cut in half, it really just looks like two burritos next to each other. Order yours with carnitas, which are dark brown and well-crisped yet also responsible for the juices pooling under the burrito behemoth. The only downside is that it’s so big that at some point, you’ll probably have to use a fork and knife. Things could be worse. " - neha talreja, willa moore
