"Alfred Coffee has entered its matcha era (along with the rest of LA) with a new concept called Cafe Matcha in Studio City. The space looks like a classic diner with retro booths, and they have all kinds of ceremonial-grade matcha drinks, plus desserts like matcha waffles and ice cream. The pastries are from a former Konbi chef and include things like a koji-glazed miso cinnamon roll, hojicha apple galette, and a curry ham-and-cheese bun." - Cathy Park
