"Malai is an Indian-inspired ice cream shop in Carroll Gardens, and it's a very good thing that they also have an outpost in Market 57. Primarily because it means you can get a triple-scoop of their super thick ice cream, then take your cone on a walk around nearby Little Island. When it comes to picking flavors, there is no wrong answer, but try the rose and cinnamon-roasted almond at least once. It pairs perfectly with mango and cream, our other favorite." - Carina Finn
