"It may have only been open for 19 years, but the Tate Modern is one of London’s most famous cultural landmarks. Positioned along the South Bank in a former power station, the Tate Modern has a permanent collection of modern and contemporary art, including pieces by Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, that is free to access. There are also a whole host of national and international exhibitions held throughout the year that can be visited for an additional fee.
