"This stone-built country house has a terrace overlooking the banks of the Odet River and the nearby woods. The hearty cuisine is made with quality local ingredients. The cooking is spot on, as exemplified by the roast monkfish, with its golden exterior and firm, melt-in-the-mouth flesh; the flavour combinations are well balanced and the flavours themselves are bold and highly seasoned, the homemade ketchup or the vanilla cream being a case in point.
