"Housed in two buildings, the Museo de Arte Fundación Ortiz-Gurdián is the biggest art institution in the city and features early pre-Columbian works, Spanish colonial religious artifacts, and modern and contemporary Nicaraguan pieces; it takes a few hours to explore, both buildings have lovely courtyard gardens to relax in, and my favorite painting there was El Retiro by Mauricio Gomez Jaramillo." - Matthew Kepnes
