"Arguably the most centrally located option, I found Ostello S. Fosca within walking distance of Venice’s main sights yet tucked away on a quiet canal so you can still get a good night’s rest; the staff are very kind and eager to help. The dorms are basic with squeaky but clean metal beds and AC is available only in some rooms so it can get stuffy in hot months. The hostel sits in a lovely historic building with a huge enclosed outdoor patio and yard, a fully equipped kitchen, female-only dorms and free luggage storage for the rest of the day after check-out.
