"If you want to save money, I found The Parkdale Hostellerie to be the most affordable option in the city: there’s no free breakfast but the low price makes up for it. It offers lots of common space and a communal kitchen, has a welcoming, homey feel despite amenities and design that aren’t the most modern, and while it’s not as central as other hostels it’s near Vegandale, Echo Beach and Fort York — a solid choice if you’re not trying to be social and just want to cut costs." - Matthew Kepnes
