This mid-century modern Finnish design company, made famous by no less a fashion icon than Jackie Kennedy, may not be a household name, but there is something instantly recognizable about its textiles. Timeless patterns and cheerful colours brighten up their only Canadian, and one of only 4 North American shops. Marimekko is a happy shopping experience. It features women's wares, house ware, but also shares its premises with Designhouse, a fabulous modern furniture and home accessory shop."
