"Built in 1896, the Museum of Applied Arts is the most wonderful example of Hungarian Art Nouveau. Designed by architect Ödön Lechner, it mixes oriental elements with Hungarian folk art decorations and other styles. The Museum organizes regular exhibitions of its collections, but it is also home for some of the biggest contemporary design events in Hungary, including Budapest Design Week." - Budapest Design Week
