"Pono Burger, Santa Monica. In Hawaiian, “pono” means “to do things the right way.” At TRÜF, it means “get in my belly!” Chef Makani doesn’t play around. She uses only locally sourced farm-to-table ingredients and everything is homemade and crafted with love. And yes, it’s f'n delicious. Look for the WWII-era Quonset hut on Broadway and stop in for the laid-back vibe, craft beer and great wines. Top it all off with an oatmeal stout milkshake if you dare. Tip: free parking underground...what?!"
