On the Grid : Tambarina

"Tambarina is a restaurant where one can feel and taste the true “flavour of Cape Verde”. Living and working in the neighbourhood for more than 43 years, Domingos de Brito is the owner of this famous restaurant. The Cachupa and the Moamba recipes are among the most celebrated, but there is a variety of other popular dishes that attract not only the locals. The restaurant also hosts live music from Cape Verde – *Funaná*, Batuque, Morna and Koladera, and it is expected to have a space for dancing sessions soon. It is open every day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m." - Rés-do-Chão
