On the Grid : JAPADOG

"A Vancouver original, JAPADOG is the Lost in Translation of downtown's lunch scene, as delicious as it is wonderfully quirky. Their only fixed restaurant location on Robson Street offers a broader menu than the food carts and trucks, including the absurd and amazing Yakisoba noodle hot dog, the cheese encrusted and unfortunately-named Love Meat, and the Age Ice - 3 ice cream scoops in a hot dog bun. This is a guilty pleasure you should indulge in. So do wait in line, and please try the seaweed fries." - Becki Chan & Milos Begovic
