"Want to take the kids somewhere? The Collingwood Children's Farm is your best bet. Cows, goats, pigs, chooks, guinea pigs – you name it, they have it. Fantastically close to the city and adjacent to the Yarra River bike trail it's pretty easy to get to. Makes for a fun day out with the family in which city kids can delight in the sound a sheep makes. There are many great opportunities like sheep feeding and guinea pig holding, as well as observing helicopter parents in their natural environment – each animal feeding opportunity containing more adults with iPhones trained on their children than the children themselves ;) There's also a really great cafe right by the entrance serving delicious sandwiches and great coffee for when you've just had a bit too much of staring at Bessie feeding on grass." - Studio Fellow
