"Opened with a ceremony that highlighted an 'authentically Disney and distinctly Chinese' identity, the park is laid out around a very large central castle and is notable for its garden-themed design, scenic bridges and easy-to-navigate paths connecting seven themed lands. Visitors praise the warm character greetings on arrival and the wide culinary offering—about 150 dishes across eight Chinese regional cuisines, including Wagyu beef noodles, shao mai dumplings and character-shaped waffles—while entertainment spills outside the gates into a sizable shopping and dining district where big-stage productions are staged." - James Wong
