"A 1,500 m², eco-friendly sports complex distinguished by a wooden façade, sloping green roofs and an encircling lawn; its angular form and large perimeter windows create strong indoor–outdoor links. The multipurpose centre is divided into five adaptable zones with both heated spaces (for yoga and dance) and unheated areas (for basketball), is open 24/7 and operates unmanned, allowing unrestricted public access. Developed through community co-creation via surveys and architect-led workshops, the building responds to local needs and emphasises social sustainability, standing as a human-scale, green insertion amid larger concrete developments." - Alexandra Pereira
