"The Sofitel Ambassador isn’t the only Parisian-themed hotel in Seoul, but its efforts to channel l’esprit français are surely the most comprehensive. At first glance, this glass skyscraper, which rises up on the shores of Seokchon Lake, looks much like any other of the city’s luxury hotels. But there’s a distinctly European air to the grand marble lobby, with its elegant molded ceilings, recessed lighting, and modern crystal chandeliers.
