Luxury hotel in great location with amazing service. We stayed in the "Luxury Room" with club access for 3 nights and then stayed in the "Prestige Suite" with club access for an additional 3 nights. Both rooms were beautiful and will meet, if not exceed, most people's expectations. Since there are plenty of information on the rooms, I will not describe them here. What is worth mentioning is the exceptional service, especially by the staff in the club lounge, "Club Millesime." I would highly recommend reserving a room with club access.||We specifically reserved rooms with club access, and we are so glad that we did. Club provided a wonderful breakfast with Korean and western options, including delicious breakfast pastries. They offered an afternoon tea, and in the evening, they had a cocktail hour, which can practically serve as dinner. These offerings were pretty impressive, but the staff in the club really made our stay memorable. Hyun was super helpful during our check-in, and Jessica helped us enjoy the afternoon tea, on one particular day, when we had practically missed it because of our schedule. The club has a large staff, and their personalities vary. What is consistent is that they all care about their guests. They are professional, friendly, and very helpful.||When booked this hotel, I did have one concern. Its location is far from the city center and from ICN airport. After my arrival, my opinion quickly changed. Hotel is actually in a wonderful location that offers easy access to a high-end shopping mall and a Korean food street known as "Bangi-Dong Food Alley." It is about 5-10 minute walk to the Jamsil subway station where lines 2 and 8 run. Line 2 can be crowded but it is also very efficient - it will take you to most of the popular places in Seoul without the need to transfer. Despite its distance from ICN airport, I would recommend taking a taxi to the hotel. In September 2025, the taxi fare during the evening, on a weekend, was about 70,000 won.||I have previously stayed at the Conrad, Intercontinental, JW Marriot, and Westin Josun. Those are all great hotels and may be attractive for those of us who have ties with Hilton or Bonvoy Marriott. I have zero status with Sofitel, but I will likely come back to Sofitel Ambassador Seoul.
