Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel & Serviced Residences

I absolutely love staying at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul in Jamsil — it’s truly the best hotel in Seoul in my opinion. The location is fantastic, with everything you need nearby, and the surroundings are beautiful. The hotel itself is always neat, tidy, and spacious, offering breathtaking views that never fail to impress.| |I’ve stayed here many times, and I keep coming back because the experience is consistently excellent. The staff are top-notch — always friendly, polite, and professional. I’d especially like to recognise Regina, who made my stay extra special. She was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to provide personalized service. Every time I saw her, she greeted me with a warm smile that made me feel truly valued.| |One memorable touch was the lovely welcome message and drawing on the mirror in my room, arranged by Regina and her team — such a thoughtful and beautiful gesture.| |Overall, Sofitel Ambassador Seoul in Jamsil feels like a home away from home. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul, and I’m already looking forward to my next stay.

I cannot recommend the Sofitel enough. We stayed for 5 nights with our 2 boys (9,12) and were so comfortable we could have stayed longer. Not only is it clean, beautiful and posh, but the staff ensure to make it comfortable. When you're traveling in a huge bustling city, you need to feel at home when you head back to the hotel everyday. The staff went above and beyond. We arrived at 6 am from the US, and the front desk was so kind to give us keys to the spa to rest, shower and recover. We were able to get into our room very early as well and we were so greatful. The room (a family suite) was beautiful with amazing views and very spacious with a second bathroom for the kids. ||The hotel is right next to Lotte World Mall which has everything and anything you may need and a ton of food options for the whole family. ||The included breakfast was chic and plentiful with American, French and Korean options. The head chef was a total delight and chatted with us every morning. ||The highlight of our entire stay and the reason we will return and send friends however was our Concierge, Chae. He went above and beyond for us, even as far as checking on us on our next 2 stops (Busan & Jeju). He send us recommendations for both activites and restaurants that were amazing. He even contacted the concierge in Jeju and set us up with VIP welcome ammenties. We travel frequently and I've never met a greater concierge and friend. He is truly remarkable!

This is my favorite hotel in Seoul. The location is very easy to get to from Jamsil Station and there is so much to do in the area including the lovely Seokchon Lake. The staff is very friendly and always deliver great service. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a nice French flair to them. Other highlights include the excellent onsite restaurants, the pool with great views of the city, and the roof bar Latitude32 which is one of the best in the city in my opinion. The hotel’s music selection is also spectacular; I’ve found at least one track to add to my playlist every time I’ve stayed here. If you’re looking for a top notch place to stay in Seoul the Sofitel should be on your list!

My review is not part of any promotion and I was not compensated for it The impression was very good, down to the smallest detail like the curated music in the gym and the polite eye contact with all employees. The property was impeccably clean and tastefully appointed with breathtaking views and a gorgeous pool facility. I had a problem with the hot water in my shower and staff were very attentive resolving the issue. The location is very good in an affluent area adjacent to the Lotte Mall although a bit far from some tourist attractions one can easily load fare in the tourist app and take the transit system

Absolutely magical place to stay. Service was impeccable, the rooms were wonderful. I stayed there for 2 weeks in the residence, which comes with a washer/dryer, kitchen, and high-tech appliances, including voice-controlled lights and curtains. Location was perfect being right next to Lotte World Mall, where you can get any dining experience, shopping along with groceries. You're very close to subways and endless restaurants. The location is perfect.

My experience at Sofitel was outstanding. It was the second time. The hotel is extremely comfortable, impeccably clean, and offers complete amenities that made the stay truly enjoyable. The gym is well-equipped, and the indoor pool and jacuzzi were perfect for relaxation. I also appreciated the convenient car parking and the warm, professional attitude of the staff — always friendly and ready to help. A perfect choice for both business and leisure stays. Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved the room I stayed (Magnifique) and how everything in the room was prepared immaculately. Staffs were beyond helpful and were willing to take the extra step to make my stay a relaxing and a comfortable one. Gym and pool were not as crowded and was filled with newest gears and were maintained very well. The only nit to pick is with the food and bev at the 6th lounge - the menu choice for the brunch course meal was rather underwhelming considering the price point with the obvious / mediocre options. Given the target audience of the hotel (with higher expectation in terms of pallate) I think the current food offering could use some overhaul / upgrade. Otherwise this was a great stay and I’m glad to have chosen Sofitel as my main lodge during my stay in Seoul. Would absolutely visit and stay again during my next stay.

Had high expectations before arriving at this hotel, still, the stay at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul was one of the best and most memorable one we ever had. Every staff we interacted from check-in to check-out are polite, courteous and speaks good English, they are always smiling and ready to be assisting guests. ||Great loyalty recognition as Accor Platinum member, the hotel provided generous room upgrades and late check out without any hesitation. ||The food and beverage offerings in Club Millésime is excellent, definitely would recommend reserving a room with Club access. We enjoyed unlimited Moet & Chandon Champagne during evening cocktail with abundant selection of authentic French & Korean food, the spread was subsantial and could easily work as a dinner substitute. The pastry during breakfast is a highlight as well, yum!||The hotel is not located in the most central tourist district, but is very convenient when going to Lotte World theme park, or enjoy some shopping in the adjacent large Lotte Mall. ||Shout out to Julien & his team and Guest Relations, who provided extra miles of service and make sure our stay to be a wonderful one. There's no doubt this hotel is the reason I would return to Seoul in the future. 10/10 definitely would recommend.
