Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel & Serviced Residences

First time to Seoul and this hotel is really adding point to the region. The location is vey good, right next to Lotte mall and can walk to shopping centre, Lotte tower and Lotte world, mostly indoor and saved us from wind and snow (we visited in Dec). The room is very big with view. I enjoyed the bed and the bathtub, which is a good relief after long walk. Service is excellent. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The meals we had were amazingly good, and not mentioning the 30% discount thanks to the ALL explorer membership. Will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

My wife and I are AmEx Platinum members and we chose to stay here as part of the THC collection. We've stayed at dozens of FHR and THC hotels across Europe, the US, and South America but this hotel was by far the most attentive and caring towards kids, specifically the check in and hotel wait staff. At check in, the receptionist gave us 2 toys which my 10 month old daughter loves, even now. Then at dinner the waitress, without even asking, brought her a blanket and pillow to sleep on because she noticed our daughter getting sleepy. Awareness and gestures like this often mean more to guests with kids than any luxury. The 5 course dinner was delicious (but expensive) however the quality was top notch. The breakfast too was very expensive but we used our hotel credit for 1 day and it was delicious and again, a different waitress brought my daughter a kids silverware set, plate, booster seat, and little plastic cup. We stayed here 2 nights during Christmas and I'd highly recommend it if you're interested in going to the Christmas market (2 minute walk) and enjoy proximity to mall for restrauants, the small lake (good for running and night walks with family), and overall great location, beautiful luxurious hotel. Thanks again to the Sofitel receptionist and hotel wait staff for their attentiveness and kinde gestures to our baby. 10/10 would recommend staying.

The massage itself was slightly firm but very effective, and the body scrub was absolutely wonderful. I especially loved the thoughtful flow of the spa experience — from the beautiful showers between treatments to the soothing mask and overall ambiance.||Guest Relations' Jisoo made my stay exceptionally special. She decorated my room beautifully for my birthday, including a heartfelt design on the full-length mirror that truly made me feel celebrated. She consistently complimented me whenever we crossed paths and took wonderful care of me throughout my stay, including arranging a lovely room upgrade. Her warmth, attentiveness, and genuine kindness elevated my experience in a way I will never forget.||Throughout my stay, the hotel surprised me with delicious desserts and thoughtful touches that made returning to my room a joy. Breakfast was very tasty, with high-quality offerings and a relaxed atmosphere. While my American Express package did not include breakfast, the hotel generously provided a substantial credit for incidentals and dining at their restaurants, which I greatly appreciated.||Concierge Rohan was equally wonderful — kind, attentive, and highly responsive. He honored every request I had with professionalism and ease, making the entire experience feel seamless.||Sofitel Ambassador Seoul exemplifies refined luxury paired with heartfelt hospitality. From pre-arrival communication to check-out, I felt genuinely cared for and celebrated. It was our first time to visit Seoul and we were glad that we stayed here at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel. It also helped that I am an Accor member. The location was family-friendly but still accessible to other locations around Seoul. The facilities and rooms were well-maintained. The view of our room was great; we had a front-row sit of the New Year's Eve fireworks of the Lotte World Tower. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Ambassador. The location is unbeatable—walking distance to Lotte World Mall (and the amusement/theme park) and Lotte Tower, yet quietly overlooking the serene Seokchon Lake. The lake-view room was a highlight in itself: calming, spacious for a couple and a small kid, and offering some of the best morning and evening views you’ll find anywhere in the city. The staff deserve special mention. Every interaction—from reception to housekeeping—was marked by attentiveness, courtesy, and a genuine desire to make our stay comfortable. It’s the kind of service that stays with you. Overall, Sofitel Ambassador combines convenience, beautiful surroundings, and thoughtful hospitality. Highly recommended, and we’d happily stay again.

I had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Seoul. The service stood out immediately — every staff member I interacted with was friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful, which made our stay so comfortable and a welcome home experience. The hotel is exceptionally well‑organised, and the Executive Club offers an impressive variety of food and beverages, making it a great place to unwind comfortably. The room itself was beautifully designed, with modern, luxurious décor that made the stay feel special. Everything from the layout to the finishing touches reflected high quality standards. The only downside was that the toilet became blocked a couple of times during my stay. While it was resolved, it was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise excellent experience. Overall, Sofitel Seoul delivers a high level of comfort, service, and style — a hotel my partner and I would happily return to.

We just checked in today and are already amazed by this hotel. We usually stay at Marriott properties and recently joined Accor, and this hotel is by far superior for the same star rating. The service from arrival to check-in has been some of the best we’ve ever experienced. The room is simply divine. Yes, it’s a bit further from some of the popular tourist spots, but there’s so much to do nearby, Lotte World, the aquarium, Lotte World Tower, great (endless) shopping options, and KidZania for families. It’s also close to Gangnam. We’d happily travel a bit further from the airport to stay in such a beautiful hotel. We’re not using the pool this time, but we’re already thinking about returning as a family because of the great kids’ facilities. A special thank you to Summer for the warm and amazing welcome!
