"Since opening La Maison Bleue in 2010, chef Yoann Conte has made his hotel as much of a destination as his two Michelin star restaurant. Behind its distinctive blue façade, from which it takes its name, the hotel’s eleven guest rooms put a contemporary riff on traditional Alpine design with neutral shades and cozy wood paneled walls. Don’t let the chalet-inspired décor lead you into thinking that this is a winter destination, however. La Maison Bleue sits in just the right spot for catching the sun, and all rooms come with balconies or terraces for enjoying the Lake Annecy views. You’ll also find the small wellness offering of a Norwegian bath and sauna outside, and sun loungers placed right by the edge of the lake with easy access for a quick dip. But of course, what you’re really here for is the food. The more relaxed second restaurant Le ROC still showcases Conte's style and the region’s seasonal ingredients, but it really is worth pushing the boat out with a night at the two MICHELIN star and one MICHELIN green star headliner La Table de Yoann Conte for the complete La Maison Bleue experience." - Tablet Hotels
