"Perched on a sun-bleached stretch of sand, this adults-only, low-key World’s Best Award winner (2023) is packed with amenities — 11 restaurants and bars, multiple pools, a spa, and a fitness center — though I must admit the food across the resort isn’t as impressive as at some newer all-inclusive properties. I was very impressed with the beachfront restaurant Lima Limon. The Mi Hotelito Beachfront Suites are my top pick for rooms (just steps from the pool and beach with a balcony or terrace), and the resort also features Palafitos over-water bungalows that feel like a hotel within a hotel, complete with private infinity pools, glass-bottom floors, ladders into the ocean, and a private restaurant for Palafitos guests only." - Meagan Drillinger Meagan Drillinger Meagan Drillinger left New York City for a life on the road.
