"An exquisitely appointed 50-meter superyacht delivered what felt like the first true superyacht experience in the Galapagos: just seven wood-lined private cabins that felt more boutique hotel than expedition ship, a crew of 16, and a blissfully intimate guest-to-guide ratio of eight to one—about half the norm here—so it often felt like we had the islands to ourselves. I started days with optional sunrise yoga on the sun deck, then tucked into a Nikkei-leaning culinary program (overseen by Francesco Galli Zugaro) that tasted like Nobu filtered through Galapagos and Ecuadorian flavors—think roast chicken with pumpkin-ginger purée, tuna steaks and beef tenderloin with grilled Andean corn, smoked swordfish with tonnato sauce, and even an udon beef stew, paired with a smart Chilean wine list. Evenings brought a hypnotic ritual of white‑tipped reef sharks circling the illuminated hull as we lingered over dinner on the aft deck, and my most surprising onboard obsession became the “tree tomato,” served at breakfast and lunch and stealing the show each time. Add in the tradition of a convivial Captain’s Dinner on the final night and deeply restful cabins between adventures, and the whole voyage felt tailored, indulgent, and quietly unforgettable." - Corey Seymour
