"On my main stop in Rome, I finally visited the shop I first heard about years ago from André Leon Talley after admiring his bright socks; it’s where the Pope and the most important Vatican officials get their clothes (vestments). Bolts of vividly colored fabrics, brocades, and trims fill the space, everything is made to measure and super fancy. As a non-clergy American woman it isn’t the most comfortable place to shop, but I asked for the socks and got every color they had in my size." - Kate Young
