Best Hotel Restaurants in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"1 Pico is seasonal, market-based hotel dining at its LA best. Located as close as one can get to the sand without actually being on it, this is the spot to head for a casual patio dinner with lobster spaghetti, dry-aged rib-eye, and an extensive cocktail menu. Head over for weekend brunch to find an eggs Benedict bar, Nutella crepes, cold-pressed juice, and oysters. 1 Pico is also very kid-friendly, offering separate brunch and dinner menus for the little ones with approachable, but still fancy, options like spaghetti and a wagyu burger." - Rebecca Roland

15 Superb Santa Monica Restaurants

"From its perch at the ritzy Shutters on the Beach resort, 1 Pico offers some of the most elegant ocean views on the West Coast. The menu is meant to please a wide range of palates and uses top-grade ingredients and simple grilled preparations. Blistered whole blue prawns, scallop crudo with citrus olive oil, and lobster spaghetti should appeal to seafood lovers, while the terrific grilled wagyu New York strip sourced from a regenerative ranch should satisfy meat aficionados. Throw in the supreme level of service, and 1 Pico is a reliable weekend charmer for tourists and locals alike." - Eater Staff, Matthew Kang

Best Dishes Eater Editors Ate This Week: March 25 - Eater LA

"Chef Sean Runyon brings a wealth of experience in luxe hotel venues and occasionally splurges on high-end ingredients like this wild-caught bluefin toro that the kitchen sears perfectly over a wood grill. A little squeeze of lemon was the ideal foil for the rich fish, which melted in our mouths from its layered fat." - Eater Staff

"A meal at 1 Pico comes with the best element of staying at Shutters on the Beach: the view. You know where the sidewalk ends and the sand begins? That’s where you’re sitting. Or rather one floor up in the breezy, wood-beamed dining room. And judging from the hamachi tartare, squid-ink pasta, and simply, beautifully prepared market fish, chef David Almany designed the menu with the scenery in mind. "

Google
great food with very nice ambiance. The bad thing is the service is sloooow and he is not very reaponsive.

A friend extended an invitation to dine at 1Pico, the restaurant located within the Shutters on the Beach hotel. I had not visited the hotel since prior to the onset of the pandemic. The aesthetic details, both within the hotel and the courtyard outside, were meticulously decorated. The company was exceptional, featuring a beautifully decorated dining table and restaurant within the hotel. This setting provided an ideal ambiance for savoring a divine wine pairing with dinner at 1Pico. The Philippe Bouzereau Wine Dinner was an unforgettable experience that I intend to invite friends and business clients to in the future. I had the pleasure of meeting the hotel manager, Christophe, and Mary, who hosted the evening. They shared their extensive knowledge about the wines from Philippe and the culinary creations of their exceptional Chef. The entire evening was an absolute pleasure.

Google
Fantastic, and even better than expected, experience. First, the location is wonderful, right on the beach. Second the food was really good. I had their scallops. Seared and crispy on the outside, and so moist in the middle, and my wife their seabass, also really well cooked. Simply grilled, and medium cooked. For desert we shared their cheese platter and the tapioca. Icing on the cake ,.. Goldie Hawn was dining with a friend at the table next to us. Good night

Google
Perfect date night. Arrived for our reservation at 6 pm to an almost empty house. Table right next to the window with an ocean view. It took a while for our waiter to come take our order, but when the food finally came, it was delicious. Our waiter was quite eccentric - he was friendly and gave great recommendations but would leave quickly after checking in on us. And a few times he even came by and just dropped something off without saying anything. He's a funny guy, and we grew to love him. His recommendation for the grilled prawns appetizer was amazing. The sea urchin pasta had a nice flavor of the sea - not the best uni I've had but it went well with the pasta. The halibut smelled amazing and went well with the peas and artichoke and lightly grilled onion - not terribly flavorful but it grew on me and I ended up really liking it especially after adding some salt. Our waiter convinced us to order the one dessert I hadn't been considering - the salted caramel sundae, and he was right that everything went very well together. Overall a wonderful evening.

We just moved to Santa Monica, and this place is already a go-to for us. Fantastic service. Excellent food. The dining room is a perfect spot to watch a sunset over the water. From the valet to the hostess to our server, Matt, everyone made us feel welcome. Thank you for making our first night in Santa Monica so special!

Google
The vegan ravioli was good, felt fresh but needed more seasoning. I was in a rush for a flight and had to wait for the waitress etc so the service wasn’t fabulous, but very nice atmosphere. Very nice that they have so many vegan options:)

Google
Shutters is a very special hotel in Santa Monica. It's one of the few luxury ocean front hotel experiences around and their restaurants have the most incredible views. This is why you go here - the food maybe not so much... at least not at the price point. I have the luxury of eating at some of the best restaurants in LA, so my bar is very high. Will the view give you goosebumps? Hell yes! Will you have a nice special dining experience? Most likely. Will the food blow your mind? Maybe not. We had a business dinner here the other night, I have to say I left, not so impressed. It's expensive but the food just doesn't hit the mark for me. What we ordered: Appetizers: Crispy Wrapped Summer Squash, Blue Crab Tartine, Grilled Blue Prawns - the winner here was the prawns, the biggest loser aka maybe take this off the menu was the crab - completely tasteless Entrees: Caesar Salad add Chicken (what I got, Roasted Half Jidori Chicken - riddle me that Batman), Lobster Spaghetti - I really have no words because the server simply chose something he considered better for me. It was good, I'll give him that, but definitely NOT what I wanted. Deserts: Brownie Sundae and Chocolate Soufflé - eh Other than the misorder, the service was great. Would I come back for a celebratory meal, probably not, but for drinks, 100%!

Google
Best lobster spaghetti in town They didn’t charge my wife’s soup because she didn’t eat. The soup was alright just didn’t fit the appetite and we were just gonna let it go Very surprise they just waived the money by themselves and I had the best meal in Santa Monica

Yelp
Incredible views, but also impeccable service. Mary recommended some amazing gems off the wine list, and bartender Art was extremely attentive. Food is solid especially since they have multiple options for different price points... from bar snacks to expensive steaks to share. Will be back again soon!

Yelp
Excellent service from Jameson, Nacho, and Gerardo! The restaurant was very nice with the most beautiful view of the beach and the food was delicious! We were greeted by some of the nicest valet attendees I've ever met, Julius and Chris. They definitely deserve to be recognized! 9-29-2024

Yelp
I used to love going to 1 Pico. I felt special but not any more. I still walk over to 1 Pico for day drinking since there are not many options for cocktails by the beach. Good: - Great Beach View. - Great Cocktails. Not So Good: - Service is not consistent. Not attentive when they are busy with tourists during the high season. - Menu items are limited. For example, they serve mostly breakfast items only until 3pm on the weekend. The kitchen closes 3 - 5:30pm - Food taste not fresh any more. Please bring back the delicious flat bread with caviar.

Yelp
Overall, a solid 4. Ambiance - This is what you call an upscale LA beach scene, with an elegant oceanfront dining experience that offers an upscale yet relaxed atmosphere, perfect for both intimate dinners and special occasions. Service - We were first seated by the window, but it was too sunny, so we asked to be moved. The server was very attentive, friendly, and accommodating to our needs and moved us to the table I wanted. Food - We had side dishes as appetizers. The cornbread is a must. It was soft, mildly sweet, and buttery. The corn and shishito peppers had a little kick, which I loved. The Iberico pork chop was one of the best pork chops I have ever had. However, the veal Milanese was just okay. It had a great crunchy texture, but it lacked seasoning. I highly recommend One Pico if you want to experience elegant oceanfront dining

Yelp
Food was not very good. The baby leeks were absolutely terrible. My tuna was good but not for $72. The cut I was given was very thin, it was laughable. the plate was very sparse for $72, with only a small dollop of puree. The gin fizz cocktail was not good. The halibut was slightly overcooked and dry. The side broccolini with the halibut had no flavor. Service and ambiance were good, but no way we would recommend 1 Pico to anyone.

Yelp
Incredible food! Seafood out of this world !!!!! We had service without asking. Fabulous wait staff! We could look out the window and see the sun set over the beach and ocean, it was beautiful. We had a lovely dinner. My muscles with linguine was perfection!

Yelp
Thanksgiving Dinner with exceptional service, delicious traditional food and beautiful views of the beach and sunset. The chef accommodated an allergy so well. Staff at the front were also very friendly. Even the valet was run exceptionally. Overall exceptional experience. Will definitely return. Thank you.

Yelp
Food was not worth the money. Great service Save your dollars. Pretty but the food was average.

Yelp
Quite elegant place to have a dinner. Great views. Lovely for a date or a business meeting. Food is delicious and timely served. Service is polished. This time we had our own bottle of Bordeaux they served. They have live music ( call to verify the time) in the lobby and very comfortable sofas for an extra cocktail.

Yelp
I joined some friend for brunch at One Pico. Reservations seemed to be suggested which we had. We were appreciative to sit by the window with ocean view. As a local, it's still beautiful. Our server, male, brown wavy hair originally from IL, was super friendly and helpful. There were so many options. He helped us choose some good items. He suggested the Benedict choices as well as the burger and the savory crêpe. The interior is gorgeous just as you would imagine for a beachfront hotel. Soft blue and beige hues. Comfortable chairs. Large windows. we ordered two different eggs, Benedict options that included the lobster, prosciutto, and Canadian bacon. I opted for the salad which had the curly endive and two poached eggs. I added a side of grilled chicken. We also started with the watermelon salad and one blue gin cocktail and cappuccinos. Immediately after we were seated, we were served a fruited banana nut bread I believe. It was delicious. Our waters were kept refilled. The cappuccinos were delicious. My salad tasted OK overall. I think the dressing lacked a little seasoning or flavor. I noticed salt and pepper was omitted off the table. I should've asked for some. The side of grilled chicken I believe was an airline style chicken breast with the small drumstick bone. Again, it lacked any flavor, but it was some good additional protein. Although the two poached eggs were plenty. The grilled bread was delicious. Both my companions enjoyed the eggs Benedict. The server checked back multiple times. Definitely a destination place. The prices for beachfront restaurant are obvious. Valet parking is $14 in front. The location doesn't open until 11 AM. I probably would come back and try other items or take people from out of town..

Yelp
A birthday celebration ...RUINED We went to one pico at shutters hotel to celebrate a birthday as we have many times before. But this time it was different. We were five people and ordered 4 pasta with short rib ragu . It was Uber salty and I sent my dish back ...it was not eatable. Everyone complained but felt embarrassed to send their dish back The waiter took my dish off the bill and gave two free desserts.....he was embarrassed But The evening was ruined and the bill was over $400 ......before the tip Please think twice before going to one pico at the shutters hotel in Santa Monica. There are too many wonderful Resto's in Santa Monica less expensive The management took no responsibility .....I called the manager twice left messages he never returned my call.

Yelp
I am so glad I came in to 1 Pico! Such a relief to have a great place for a solo woman diner in Santa Monica for business to come and enjoy. I started with the crab croquettes, and wow, just so much crab packed into it. There were 3 croquette and a lovely aioli. Totally shareable. Then I had the scallops, 5 of them. perfectly cooked and a choice of 3 sauces to accompany the scallops. So glad they didn't serve it in a pool of sauces. I loved the clean, fresh grilled approach: salt pepper olive oil, BOOM Delish! I also ordered the Mary's Heirloom chicken because I had never heard of heirloom chicken. Heirloom tomatoes. Yes. But Heirloom chicken? I had to have it! So juicy. What a big portion! And again, letting the natural beautiful flavors shine. So much food! So much fun! I had no idea how large the portions were. I mean 5 scallops and a real half a chicken The hostess Katie was all smiles and sat me at such a great table. I had beach view. And saw the sunset. Also happy there was a wide variety of wine by the glass. And not just local wines. TGFM! Thank G-d for Mary! She helped me navigate all the wines. She really got my wine vibe and picked Cotes de Bordeaux, which I wasn't event looking at and boy, was she right. My waiter was very super attentive, and if I wasn't so full I would have had dessert. I saw then passing by and they all looked great. Til next time 1 Pico. I have a big smile, and some leftovers to remember you by!

Yelp
This place was such a let down! I booked this place for my husband's birthday dinner, thinking we would be oceanfront I had reasonable expectations since I know oceanfront restaurants don't always have the most amazing food since they're relying on their location to get customers. However while this restaurant is on the beach, there is no outdoor seating. We were seated quite far from the windows closest to the ocean so didn't get much of a view. Now on to the food...we really felt nickel and dimed. The entree ($40-80) comes with no sides or sauces. It's just a protein, which would have been okay if it was spectacularly prepared which it wasn't. Two of our fish were overly blackened. The sides were the best part of the meal but again not worth what we paid. There are much better options in Santa Monica. We felt incredibly short changed and won't be back.

Yelp
Beauty, friendly timely service, can not be beat.:Our server was aware of our needs with out us telling her. Smiles all the time!:Food, oh yum! Variety mouth wattering of brunch offerings: who can beat the ocean? 10+

Yelp
We went to One Pico at Shutters on the Sand during AFM! We've eaten at both restaurants and have never been let down. Service was spot on. Food was awesome! The views are unforgetable! An the ambiance for privacy is perfect! Go! Get a real feel for California at its finest.

Yelp
I've lived in Los Angeles for 32 years snd have been to a lot of restaurants, but this place tops them all. From the minute I pulled up to the restaurant, I was treated like royalty. i happen to be a nobody, according to Los Angeles standards, but at One Pico, I was queen for an afternoon. The food was beyond amazing and when we were handed the bill, the waiter said, I noticed you were celebrating a birthday so i comped the dessert. I was floored. We were discreet about celebrating, so i'm not even sure what he saw. Oh, and the view of the ocean is wonderful as well.

Yelp
The hotel is beautiful! This restaurant is located inside the hotel and the hostess was nice to us upon being seated. Our server on the other hand just seemed to be off and kind of had an attitude lol. We thought it was just to our table, but it was to the table next to us also. I wasn't impressed with the food, minus the oysters & the steak. The oysters were kumamoto oysters which are my favorite! I got the wagyu filet mignon steak and it was cooked to my favorite medium rare but the salmon was very underwhelming along with the Brussels sprouts. I feel like without the sauces they gave on the side, the steak wouldn't have been good.

Yelp
My friends took me here for birthday brunch and it was fabulous, from the really nice view to the yummy food. Ordered a glass of rose at the bar. Bartender was fun to talk to while we waited for our party to get there. Once seated we decided to order a few things to share. Burrata and prosciutto as an appetizer- I love Burrata and I pretty much order it anywhere i go and it's available; this was pretty basic but good and refreshing The kale Caesar was really good - just enough dressing but not overdone, chicken was tender and moist Wagyu Burger cooked perfect, the sun dried tomato really took it up a notch (now I'm going to try that at home!); could I tell it was wagyu and/or did the meat taste any different? nope Lobster club stole the show - big chunks of delicious lobster on bread with a little avocado and a tasty aioli - so good! Service was great and who doesn't like a wonderful view of the ocean while you dine and enjoy time with friends! It's a pricey lunch but you know what you're paying when you come here.

Yelp
Best of the best! Food was great, service (Tim) loved his job and made our stay unforgettable! Definitely going back!

Citlaly M.

Yelp
The food was absolutely wonderful. Really delicious. Absolutely wonderful location and ambiance. The problem I had was with our waiter. It was a Wednesday night past 8:30 pm and very calm. He was being uncomfortably rude to the man helping him out by cleaning and pouring water. Even saw him tightly grab his forearm at one point to "get him out of the way". It was just very classless. On top of all that the guy was doing nothing wrong! Just pouring our water or helping out. He was mumbling for him to leave now and get out of the way as if no one could hear him. It's a shame because I loved this place, if it weren't for the constant uncomfortable confrontations, It would have been perfect. Really hope that something is done and this poor guy, who looked hispanic and to be learning, finds a kinder person to guide him through!

Yelp
Compliments to the chef! The food was excellent once again. I highly recommend this restaurant for its food and beautiful view of the ocean and Santa Monica Pier. This is a high end romantic restaurant good for a nice date night. Our waiter, Tim, was so great with taking care of us and had good knowledge of food allergies and options. The fillet mignon was cooked perfectly, the Truffle polenta was amazing and the flourless chocolate cake with raspberry sauce was perfect! I took off one star because the female hostess was not very professional and had an attitude when talking with us and other couples throughout the night. Hopefully she will be moved or retrained. Kindness and professionalism are not too much to ask. All in all, one of our favorite restaurants.
google avatar

Rachel D.

Yelp
Celebrated my anniversary here and had an amazing time. They knew it was a special occasion and seated us at a secluded spot with an ocean view. We loved our server who was so friendly and helpful, but also knew when to give us space to enjoy our evening. The ambiance was perfect with big bright windows (you can ask them to lower the shade by your table), quiet music, and a very coastal feel. Parking is valet, so remember to bring cash to tip. Food and drinks were all wonderful. My boyfriend said the Filet Mignon was perfectly cooked and is one of his favorites he's had. The Seared Scallops paired extremely well with the sauce drizzled on top. Couldn't stop eating the French fries, which seemed to have a unique taste. We think there's something special about the oil it was fried in. Rum Old Fashioned and the Lemonade in The Shade were strong drinks, but also good.
google avatar

Mary Ann P.

Yelp
Really fantastic dinner here starting with the ambiance, wait staff and delicious food! Perfect evening with a view of the ocean and Santa Monica Pier in the distance. Highly recommend the 1 lb. pork served with three delicious sauces. Large enough to share and perfectly seasoned. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
My boy friend took me here for out fist date. I thought it was very romantic!! We listened to live music and then walked around by the beach!!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for Valentine's Day and it was really really nice. The inside was going to be a long way even though we had a reservation but I kind of get it because it was Valentine's Day. So we ate outside on the patio which I actually preferred and they had plenty of heat lamps. The service is good. The prefixed menu was all very good as well. I thought it was a nice romantic time. It was near the beach but since I came late I couldn't see the view. They have valet parking in the front which I recommend because there isn't much parking elsewhere. There is a parking lot nearby but it closes early and you must pay for that one as well. Very nice fine dining experience.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Overall, I enjoyed my weekday dinner at 1 Pico. The portion sizes weren't as small as I imagined and the food was good too. It wasn't the best, but it was decent. The scallops were good, but I particularly enjoyed the brussel sprouts it came with. The lamb chops were a bit tough, but I'm usually not a lamb chop eater so maybe that's how it should be?? I came on a Wednesday so it wasn't very crowded, which I prefer during times like this (Covid-19). The service was excellent as well. A great place to bring out of towners!! 1 Pico isn't somewhere where I'll come regularly, but more for a special occasion and to enjoy the view.
google avatar

Kawami S.

Yelp
The food was exceptional and so was the service. I absolutely loved the aesthetic. The waiter Tim made it an overall great experience. I can't wait to go back.

Rowin I.

Yelp
Extremely slow service and insultingly small portions. Came here for dinner thanksgiving, had a 7:30 reservation, didn't get seated until 8, Didn't get out first course until 8:45. To add insult to injury, the 3 tiny courses served were "bite sized" Won't be coming back again.
google avatar

Robert Q.

Yelp
First off the view is impeccable. How can you not like eating as you watch the waves roll in. From the moment we sat down until we walked out with our stomachs full was a true pleasurable experience. My wife enjoyed the Focaccia and Buratta appetizer as I devoured the Blue Grilled Prawns. My daughter would not allow us to eat it all as she filled her plate before we would make it disappear. Our main courses were even better than the appetizers. The Salmon was cooked perfectly with amazing flavor. The pasta and sort ribs (Short Rib Pappardelle) were delightful. As well as the Rib Eye Cap melted in our mouth. Thank you for great service and wonderful food.
google avatar

Kerry M.

Yelp
Great food and an amazing view. Took my mom here for Christmas dinner and the menu was fantastic. Had the spinach artichoke soup and wagyu steak. The soup was delicious, creamy artichoke with sautéed spinach and shaved truffle. Wagyu was very good, definitely not A5 wagyu but I didn't expect it to be at that price. The sauce was delicious, took one star off only because my 'as rare as possible' steak came out pretty solidly medium. The Christmas menu came with dessert, so had the cannolis - thought they were nice, though I'm not much of a cannoli person so had no strong feelings either way
google avatar

Daisy O.

Yelp
The prices are ridiculous and the food just mediocre. We went for Mother's Day and they had a set menu. We spent over $500 for two adults and three kids. This Mother's Day will always remind me how I'm not allow to make the plans for it and I am the mom. I cried the ride home because it was such a waste of money!

Seth S.

Yelp
Please, just please, make your parents proud and leave the restaurant business. Spent Mother's Day with eating food for $700 for 5 people that is an insult to Denny's line cooks everywhere. The food here is at the intersection of genuinely terrible and bad. So if you want to wonder why you came, how much it costs and question why you just didn't go out to McDonalds, come on down.
google avatar

Jennifer J.

Yelp
Our waiter was incredibly rude. I've never experienced such horrible service in my life. My friend and I asked questions about what a specific dish was and the waiter scoffed at us and said in a very mocking way, "you don't know what that is?" The whole time it felt like he kept talking down to us and was super arrogant. Totally ruined the rest of our night there. We both felt it was due to our race (we're both Asian women) because we noticed he had a different attitude and was nice to the tables around us (non-Asian customers). He barely came to our table to check in on us, so we were there for 2.5 hours total because we had to wait 30-45 min for the next dish to come after finishing eating each course. Furthermore, we were the ONLY table that didn't have a heat lamp on and we could barely get his attention to ask because he never came by to us. What a shame because the food was delicious and the outside dining area was beautiful. We were looking forward to coming here for a while, but we both left feel horrible and could stop thinking about how much it felt like we were being treated differently due to our race.
google avatar

Jennifer J.

Yelp
This is long, long overdue. Years ago I had my first official date with my girlfriend at One Pico. So I wanted to propose to her on the beach outside and then have a celebratory dinner at the same table where we had our first date. I want to give a special shout out to manager Owen Edson who was able to find the exact table and reserve it for us. Long story short, she said yes and we ended up getting legally married on the beach there the following year. Aside from the sentimental importance of this place, the service and the food are fantastic. We always love going there and cannot say enough great things about One Pico and Shutters.

Yelp
Went for pre-set valentine's dinner, and paid around $500 for drinks. Service was extremely slow, food was below average. Overall not worth the experience

Chait P.

Yelp
High end restaurant that is worth the experience. Great ambience facing the ocean on Santa Monica beach. Excellent dinner if you are a fish lover.

Yelp
We came to dine at 1 Pico with my family on a Sunday afternoon. The place is spacious and has a beautiful view of the beach. The food was good and the service was superb! Mario and Ignacio were friendly, professional and amazing! Every time we need something, they came right back with the right items. Great job for hiring great people who enjoy their jobs and provide excellent service to their customers. We will definitely be back again soon.
google avatar

Yelp
Very nice outdoor seating, and staff were friendly. They have a valet parking, so it is very helpful if you are driving. Nice and relaxing atmosphere.
google avatar

Gisselle R.

Yelp
All seating is outdoors and they are all wearing mask which is good during COVID The food was delicious we are actually going again tonight. The crudo was so good we ordered it twice in once night. We loved the sea bass the food came out quickly so the temperature was so nice. They are fast busboys. Anything you needed super accommodating. Nice for a romantic dinner date or to look Bouijee with your friends.

Yelp
Outstanding cuisine with stellar service! Just hosted a party for 15 here and we had amazing service and the best cuisine this restaurant has EVER served. The new chef has elevated the quality and crafted a wonderful flavor profile. The setting is sublime and we really love the fire on cold beach days! Our server and his assistant were top notch and A+. The manager, Mr. Rodriguez, was fantastic also. Thank you.
google avatar

Lindsley L.

Yelp
The setting really makes this place. If you have been here before then it's a little weird to be dining in the former valet area but it's picturesque and so relaxing. The food was delicious. The service is snail slow but if you're not in a rush then it's great and a stroll on the beach after is perfect.

Joe J.

Yelp
I've been to 1 Pico many times and the food was always amazing but this time I had the filet mignon last night and there wasn't one ounce of flavor. You could've used a microscope and not have found any seasoning ...It's actually the worst steak I've ever had in my life..... I'm a steak connoisseur i've had amazing steaks in Paris, New York,Las Vegas even other locations in Los Angeles but this was a $72 disaster. Who grills a steak and doesn't season it with anything not even Salt or even pepper??

Yelp
Tried this restaurant with our friends who suggested it and had frequented it several times previously. Despite the nice location, the food here was not impressive. We decided to try it during DineLA and cannot begin to express how disappointed we all were. Not only were the portions ridiculously small but the chef decided to saturate our steaks in salt. When we mentioned it to our waiter, he had not a statement to make after speaking with the chef.

Yelp
Wow. Have never been treated so rudely in my life. I don't know if Sean the manager is homophobic or what but we came to eat here with a bottle of wine and while the open table clearly says $30 they tried to charge us $45. A totally reasonable misunderstanding except that the waiter opened the bottle and then said he would check. Sean then came over and without even introducing himself just started berating us with the fact that "it's clearly $45 on our website every other restaurant does this and he will not dilute his wine list for less than $30." We eat out a lot and are happy to pay the corkage whatever it is but just the fact that there was a disconnect we wanted to rectify, and then to be treated like such absolute shit? For trying to eat at his restaurant? You'd think we'd shat on the floor. Literally without introducing himself "the corkage is $45 it says so on our website" and "opentable is. 3rd party I have no control over that." And??? You can't update it? Or honor it this one time? Or apologize and explain and maybe convince us to pay? Like honestly. Have never been so attacked when me and my boyfriend were just trying to have a night out. F this place.

Yelp

Yelp
I was seated at a table next to an open window. There was a nice view of the ocean from it. It was very calming. The food was pretty tasty and I'm told brunch is even better. I'll have to go back.
