The Best Pizza in Rome: 20 Pizzerias to Visit | Eater

"180g Pizzeria Romana’s relatively new location just off Via Prenestina uses — you guessed it — 180-gram dough balls for its thin, crisp Roman style pizza. The dough is stretched by hand and topped with familiar favorites like margherita and marinara, but many of the pizzas push into creative territory with texture, flavor, and temperature contrasts, as in the Emporio with berbere-scented grass pea puree, sauteed chicory, beet chutney, and marinated Jerusalem artichokes. Starters include folded pizza bianca filled with mortadella. The original location in Centocelle remains open for takeout and delivery only." - Katie Parla

If your a tourist and looking for true pizza romana experience, Do not hesitate to dine here. Trust me You will have world class pizzeria experience. Locals, already know so I don’t need to brag more how good this place is. Fried food is no question best food in the world. Even if you compare with Michelin star restaurants, I don’t think they make suppli as good as 180 grammi pizzeria romana. Pizza dough incredibly light, thin, crispy, flavorful and toppings are vibrant and high quality. Just pure joy when you consume this pizza. All high quality ingredients. Staffs and owner are world class people. Clearly they are proud of what the serving, genuinely nice, warm hospital minded people. They deserve more spotlight from worldwide. The best pizzeria period

The fritti at 180grammi was absolutely amazing—crispy with a delightful crunch and perfectly paired sauces, making it totally worth trying. The pizza was also really good, with an incredibly thin and crispy crust, very Roman in style. However, considering all the hype and the need to secure a spot on their waitlist, I'm not entirely convinced it's worth the wait. That said, it’s still a good spot to check out at least once, especially if you're a fan of Roman-style pizza.

A wonderful place, and I especially want to note the level of service. Very polite and pleasant people work here. They are always ready to help with the choice and answer questions. Fast, efficient and with a smile! A separate plus for the ability to count calories using the app in the photo. This is a real find for those who watch their diet!

Overall: 9.7/10 The place is a bit far from the usual areas, but it is definitely worth it. I loved the interior design. The pizza is incredibly delicious, and the wine selection pairs perfectly with the flavors on the menu. They offer a variety of desserts, all excellently balanced in sweetness. The cake was especially fluffy and just perfect. The service was excellent.

Best supplì I’ve had in ages. Pizzas were delicious too!

Honestly, I don't understand if everyone who praises it has eaten at the same place I ate at last night. The fried items were good, but the only thing truly on point was the crust, because the filling was off. The rice inside the supplì was completely overcooked, and the flavors, in general, were slightly bland. Pizzas were a disaster. The one with provola, potatoes, and ham was like cardboard: dry, with little cheese, and tasteless ham. The margherita and the boscaiola were average stuff, better than the other, but still something that can be found anywhere at a lower price, without as much hype, and without having to book weeks in advance. I also agree with those who complain about the service. Let people enjoy their meal in peace: I understand the need to respect the 90-minute slot, but pressuring tables to order doesn't make the dining experience enjoyable for guests. I won't be going back, and I won't recommend it.

Creative seasonal menu with flavors and ingredients from all over the world. Unfortunately that did not always translate into a successful combination. One of the pizzas came out a bit cold. Our favorite things we tried were the croque monsieur al panettone and the fluffy zucca dessert. The coda and cochinita pizza were fine but not amazing.

The food here was delicious. The pizzas are so tasty and nicely cooked. We really enjoyed the suppli for starter. I enjoyed two very nice craft beers. Good service and chilled atmosphere.
