Just went for the first time--I'm not a sports fan. But my husband and I met a couple of friends there for a recent drag brunch, and had such a great time. Unlike so many sports bars, it's not dark and dingy but clean and bright and inviting. The obligatory gigantic TV screens are everywhere, including on the surprisingly appealing back patio built into the parking lot, and while they were showing plenty of different sports broadcasts (including professional women's football... Who knew?!), They were silenced for the show.
The owner and staff are incredibly personable and welcoming, the drink menu is good and reasonably priced, and the food is terrific, judging by the burgers all four of us ordered and devoured. And the drag was great! Rumor has It they may be doing drag brunch regularly once a month.
I probably avoid the place during big sports games, because I hear it's a mecca for sports fans, which I am not. But it's definitely somewhere I'd hang out otherwise. Parking can be a consideration, but we have no trouble finding nearby street parking.
