29 Best Restaurants in Dubai, From Kebab Counters to Late-Night Lounges | Condé Nast Traveler

"Tucked in Jumeirah Fishing Harbour and led by Okinawa-born Shun Shiroma, 3Fils is a small, homegrown Japanese-inspired spot that emphasizes weekly-imported ingredients and approachable, quality-driven dishes. Highlights include wagyu and caviar nigiri, spicy tuna roll with samjang, salmon carpaccio and Hokkaido scallops; note the no-reservations policy and expect to queue at peak times." - Claudia de Brito, Sophie Prideaux

"This simple and popular restaurant has an open kitchen, a pared-back interior and a laid-back vibe; grab a seat outside overlooking the Jumeirah Fishing Harbour. Their strapline is ‘making complex simple' and the Asian small plates deliver fresh, vibrant flavours with a strong nod to Japan; 3-4 per person is about right. A must try dish is their Chilean seabass with beurre blanc cream, green mint and red chili pepper. Be sure to bring some shades and a hat, as you may have to wait a while to be seated at this fairly busy eatery." - Michelin Inspector

Dubai Restaurants You Should Have on Your Radar

"A Japanese-inspired restaurant widely credited with jump-starting Dubai’s homegrown dining movement after opening in 2016 in an unlikely waterfront spot; the original concept spawned nearby sweets-focused outposts (including a Brix dessert venue) and is known for its accessible yet refined cooking and inventive dessert tasting menus." - Sarah Khan

Pretty impressed by 3Fils. Top sushi and they did a great job with the blue fin tuna sashimi! Beautiful and calm location that was a great contrast from the bustling downtown area. Great getaway place for a nice lunch, will definitely visit again. Cool that they have own brewed beverages. And the staff are super friendly - I mean it’s Dubai, they have really taught people to be kind, but 3Fils staff was a level higher.

Been to 3Fils many times but this time was the first after their extension. Love the new menu (on the expensive side though). The original menu is till available and tasty as usual. Love the variety of dishes. - The Mean Leaf (so fancy) - Hamachi Carpaccio (coming again for it)!! - Nesesume Salad (great starter) - Volcano Roll (had better) - Crispy Eel (loved the hot parts more) - Snapper Ceviche (Yummy) - Yellow Bird (refreshing drink) - Shikuwasa Soda (not bad) - African Powerhouse (their signature dessert and wish I had two slices)! It’s a great celebratory restaurant. The weather was nice. Went at 4pm so the restaurant was somewhat empty (usually we wait in line). Can’t wait for my next visit!

What an incredible dining experience. The menu is unique and full of character, far from the usual offerings. You can taste the quality and the care put into every single bite—the flavors were absolutely divine. The service matched the quality of the food: the staff was attentive, friendly, and very helpful. Thanks particularly to Rafael, he’s been very kind. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates genuine culinary creativity.

Banger. Superb location, particularly in the fine January weather. The food here is great. The service is super quick. Overall it just makes for a great experience. They also have seating on the roof, which promises to be great in the evening. Definitely try this out.

We had an excellent experience at 3Fils. We tried the seaweed salad, the Gyu toast, the classic Wagyu burger, the dragon roll, the eggplant tempura, the shrimp pasta, and the ananas dessert. Everything was excellent. The staff were warm, attentive, and really knowledgeable about the menu, and they gave me great recommendations that took my dietary restrictions into account. We’ll definitely come back on our next trip to Dubai.

The outdoor seating in the Dec weather was very nice next to the water and boats. We tried the truffle burger, salmon carpaccio, seaweed salad and volcano sushi. All the food was delicious, especially the salmon carpaccio and truffle burger.😋 The portions are a bit small for the prices, but overall a nice experience.☺️

Every dish was crafted with incredible attention to detail, balancing flavors and textures perfectly. The presentation was stunning like art on a plate not just a taste but truly a masterpiece and each course offered something unique and memorable. We had 9 savory dishes and 2 desserts. Service was flawless, staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and warm without being overbearing and the whole experience just flowed. Cozy and laid back atmosphere making the whole evening feel special. Truly deserving of its Michelin star. Not just dinner an occasion, really an unforgettable dining experience. FYI restaurant is a walk-in only basis and does not accept reservations. Expect a long wait! We walked in to a long queue and waited about more or less 35mins and decide to have some drinks by the cafe (Brix).

Food and service were amazing. They accommodated our 2 year old son and even made an adjusted menu for him. Great set up, the wagyu is amazing and the mocktails are perfect! See you again soon
