"Hell—according to Michael Imperioli’s character In The Sopranos—is “an Irish bar where it’s St. Patrick’s Day every day forever.” Now, the actor has his own bar on the Upper West Side, and naturally, you won’t find a pint of Guinness in sight. Instead, Scarlet Lounge has Roaring ’20s cocktails, a sparkling wine drink called The White Lotus (of course), truffled bar snacks, and couples out for a sexy nightcap in the over-the-top, red-and-gold Art Deco space. This lounge is small, and can get crowded on weekends when it’s open until 2am, but it’s a great option in the neighborhood for a date night with some bada bing." - Bryan Kim, Will Hartman, Willa Moore, Sonal Shah
"If you woke up this morning and got yourself a cocktail craving, then you could plan a nightcap at Scarlet Lounge, an Upper West Bar from Sopranos actor Michael Imperioli. Decked out in red and gold, this small Art Deco bar has fancy cocktails, including one inspired by The White Lotus. The bar is open until 2am on weekends. We recently checked out Scarlet Lounge. "Even though the Upper West Side is decidedly not as nice a place to drink a sparkling wine cocktail as a luxury hotel in Taormina, Sicily, you can get pretty close to the experience at Scarlet Lounge in the low 80s. The bar is owned by White Lotus and Sopranos star Michael Imperioli, and it's lacquered with gold accents and swathed in red velvet. The Art Deco bar is small, almost cramped, but the cocktails are creative and well-made, especially for this part of town. As long as you don’t have an allergy to the color red, Scarlet is a great place to grab a fancy cocktail until 2am on the weekends. " - Will Hartman, Bryan Kim, Neha Talreja, Matt Tervooren
"Scarlet is a new cocktail bar from actor Michael Imperioli of Sopranos and White Lotus fame." - Emma Orlow
