5Church Buckhead - Review - Buckhead - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Sorry, 5Church at Colony Square, 5Church in Buckhead is the younger, prettier sibling. In the typical younger sibling dynamic, this new location got all the cool things without asking—the lush garden-themed sunroom with hanging vines and all the attention on social media. The menu is roughly the same as the original, with steaks, seafood, and pasta options. But the Buckhead location does have a few individual standouts, like the baked brioche on their brunch menu, which is like a thick, square slice of french toast casserole topped with a heap of fresh cream and fruit compote." - Nina Reeder

Our waitress was Omarri and she was ABSOLUTELY amazing! It’s rare to have the level of service where they’re knowledgeable of the menu, able to provide amazing recommendations and even wine pairing as well! The ambiance here for the evening dinner experience, was calming, very intimate. It’s the kind of location you’re able to have conversations whether it’s for a date night or just hanging out with friends. I ordered the Salmon and Chef Mason did not disappoint. It was cooked to perfection! Lastly the Manager Angela was such a delight and very attentive. I for one, love to see a hands on manager seeing them assist with clearing tables and checking in on the gusts. Seriously a 10/10 experience. I’ll be visiting again!

Beautiful space with attentive management and service but lackluster food. Had brunch here with a group of friends and we had a decent experience. We arrived and had a reservation but there were some changes to our party. It took a little while but the host was able to accommodate our slightly larger party which was great. Our server was lovely and provided recommendations on what to get. Ordered the chicken and waffles, steak and eggs, and Banana French toast to get a feel for different items on the menu. The waffles tasted like your regular Belgian waffle but a bit denser and the chicken skin/breading was flavorful but the actual chicken breast didn’t have much flavor. The steak and eggs are a tad bit overpriced. You essentially get a skewer of meat with eggs and potatoes. Again nothing spectacular here. It was a pretty average tasting meal. The French toast was light and fluffy inn the inside with a firmer crust but it wasn’t my cup of tea. Bit of a let down for a French toast lover like myself. The manager made the effort to check in periodically and thank us for our business, which was nice and the space is aesthetically pleasing minus the shaky tables. Love that they have a cool app that lets groups pay for their meals individually but note that gratuity is automatically included yet you’re still asked to tip the waiter via the bill split payment platform.

My experience at 5Church was extremely underwhelming. The beginning of our dinner went well. We ordered the Sushi Tots (10/10, the only edible thing i had all evening) and the Baked Oysters (they were OK, definitely have had better elsewhere). The drinks were good and strong, but they were also inconsistent in taste and appearance. It was clear that they were made by different people, not a fan of that. I came here for a birthday dinner, the birthday girl ordered a $51 steak and it genuinely looked like a kids meal, extremely unappetizing. The manager gave us a difficult time with taking it back, forcing us to "taste it" before returning it to the kitchen. By the time we tasted it, it was cold, had been in multiple hands and had been spoken over by mutiple people. It was also dry. Ultimately it was taken off of our check. During this ordeal, I ended up giving her my meal, which was the short rib. I planned on ordering another one, only for her to say the meal was "decent". I ended up canceling the order I had placed and I cancelled my to-go order as well. Our service from our waitress was good, she was attentive overall. If you care more for ambiance than food than this is the place for you.. Needless to say I will NOT be back.

Google
Super nice spot for dinner and drinks. The bartender recommended the fried rice as an appetizer and it was fantastic. Highly recommend giving it a try. I also went with the recommended lamb burger and it was also very good. Not often you can find a super juicy lamb burger but they did it right. Overall a pretty good spot for dinner.

The server Max was amazing! Very friendly and always smiling! The atmosphere with all of the local art was beautiful, a definite experience. Take the time to look at everything. I had the salmon and it was perfect! The bone marrow app was good but the title is deceptive, there is no bone marrow. My husband had the shrimp and grits and he loved it! Overall a wonderful experience!

I recently had my wedding reception here and it was beautiful. My wife and I planned from out of town and had no clue how everything would look. Parker who is the planner/angel that works there helped us figure things out and get the set up for the day. We just brought her the items we wanted on the table and that was it. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was beautiful. We wanted something small and intimate and that's what we got. We got to the site and everything was set up for us. We loved working with Parker she was patient, responsive and efficient but also sweet as pie. We had an amazing experience.

Google
My husband and I came for Fathers Day. The atmosphere is nice and inviting. The staff are friendly and provide recommendations. As appetizer we had Crab Meunière Dip it was like whipped butter, no lump carb my husband said if there is crab in to it’s crab eyelashes(0/5 stars) however go with the staff recommendations. For an entree he ordered veal w carrots and mash potatoes. He rated it 3/5. The carrots were too charred you couldn’t enjoy them(see pic below). Lobster Mac 10/10! Thanksgiving ready, seasoned(on Father’s Day now) I ordered the lamb burger and fries 3.5/5. Overall go! It’s good! Great ambiance 4.5 They comped us with a glass of champagne, thanks! We took our desserts to go Hazelnut Chocolate cake-it was very rich a little goes a long way! and NY cheese cake mediocre, we’ve had better.

This establishment offers a truly delightful dining experience. The ambiance and menu are exceptional, creating a memorable morning. However, a couple of small details detracted slightly from the overall visit. The floor's surface seemed rather slick, requiring careful navigation. My wife almost fell 3 times due to the slippery floor. Also my flat iron steak was very bland - tender but bland, and I ordered it medium well. These are minor observations in an otherwise wonderful restaurant. We also had a great waitress named Sydney who made us feel welcomed and made our experience more enjoyable. We will return to experience their dinner service at the Midtown location.

Yelp
5Church has two locations, I have been to both the midtown location and the one located in Buckhead. I can say that the Buckhead location is stunning. We sat in the sunroom and loved the open space and beautiful floral ambiance. There was a semi private event happening in the same room that was blocked from diners with a row of white trees. We peeked in the main dining room and it was equally as stunning with artistic design throughout the room. We came on a Sunday and got a carafe of the white sangria which was amazing! I have had white sangria all over the US and this one rivaled the one I had in Barcelona. I was surprised and apprehensive when I saw the sushi tots on the menu but my cousin wanted to try them out. They were delicious and such a unique in appetizer. My sister who doesn't like raw tuna even said she would try it again. I rate the drink and appetizer 5 stars. For our main entrees we were a bit underwhelmed. They were all just okay and came out a bit warm. It paled in comparison to the appetizer and venue we were in. We all have our entree a 3.5 star rating. It wasn't bad just not as good as we hoped. Tips there is discounted self parking in the back of valet in the front. Enjoy!

Yelp
Food was very good. I had the fries and the cauliflower and those were great! I also tried several others dishes and overall great menu items to chose from. I also had the egress cocktail and it was definitely a favorite not too sweet and just right! Service was great, for our party size our server was pretty attentive! Ambiance was great we sat until the establishment closed and even took a few pictures in the restaurant hallways. Overall great dinner and would recommend

Yelp
Beautifully decorated restaurant, and our waitress was very kind. We arrived for a birthday dinner and ordered the lamb burger, short rib dish, roasted potatoes, Caesar salad, salmon, etc. The complimentary house hummus was the best tasting dish to me. Everything was good, but nothing was rememberable enough to want to return. I wasn't the biggest fan of the short rib marrow; too dry. The lamb burger was good; everything else was average. My daughter was looking forward to the birthday dessert and candle at the end of dinner (we mentioned the occasion when booking). However, they did not offer this experience. When she asked about it, she was told that she can purchase a dessert (which is fine, but most restaurants do something nice for a birthday; paying wasn't an issue, but as a teen she liked the special touch...). Ultimately, they brought out one scoop of gelato but didn't have any candles. Again, nice restaurant but there's lots of nice restaurants in the area.

Yelp
Overall, my experience at 5Church Buckhead was pretty underwhelming. The restaurant itself is undeniably beautiful, with a sleek indoor space and stunning glass walls that create a great atmosphere. The service was quick, and the staff were friendly and kind, which was a plus. However, the food was disappointing. I ordered a salad, but it was very forgettable -- nothing special or memorable about it. The burrata was a single piece, which felt underwhelming, especially considering the price. For the cost, I expected something more substantial or at least more creative. I would only return if I had time to kill and didn't mind spending a little extra cash, but honestly, there are better options in the area. I'd only consider it again if other nearby spots had long waits.

Yelp
My cousins and I met up for brunch here on Saturday and this restaurant is so cute!! I mean the decor is amazing, from the art to the ceiling, to the the intricate details are just great. I believe our waitress was Sophia and she was super nice and helpful. She gave some great options for food selection. I ordered the French omelet and it was so good! I ordered a side of bacon and we got a mimosa carafe of the Miami and pineapple. Everyone enjoyed there food and there were no to go bags. So good portion size and good. My cousin did say the lamb burger could be seasoned a little more but was good. My two cousins that ordered the salmon burger said it was good and they enjoyed it. My other cousin had the steak and she said it was really good and seasoned very well. Overall a good experience.

Yelp
The service was very prompt and professional. I got the Deception in the Garden cocktail which was great and fruity. I also got the salmon as my entree which had fresh pomegranate and an herbed olive oil. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were buttery bliss. The ambiance was beautiful and relaxing I recommend eating in the greenhouse area!

Yelp
I came for brunch And it was pretty decent. Reading the menu, there are a few things I want to try outside of brunch as well. But overall experience what's positive. The spot is very floral and very appealing. They took a lot of time to plan out the decoration scheme of it probably. I can't stress enough how good of a job they did with the aesthetics. Park is valet, but also parking is available in parking structure below the building as well. They actually give you 3 hours so just keep that in mind. They actually have valet it is complimentary so you really can't go wrong either way to goes. Depending on what time of day or what day you go you may have to walk around and go down the ramp if you are going to park in the parking structure. There has to be a guard to let you in to get to the elevator to go down to the parking area, so if there is no attended then you'll have to do it yourself. Just keep that in mind, but at the end of the day remember, the parking is free so you can't be mad. Miami mimosa - So it's a mimosa but it has a bunch of extra razzle dazzling it. Usually not my thing but it was okay. It was okay because it had more liquor in it versus the regular mimosa period This one had grenadine and coconut rum in it as well. Do you see the picture, they layered it very well so at least you know they did do well when it comes to presentation. So if you want to extra elevated mimosa this might be it. Sure you're paying $11 for it, but it's not just orange juice and champagne. I had a regular mimosa too and that one was good as well, but again, that really was only two ingredients so you really can't mess it up unless you don't know how to pour lol. Chicken Caesar salad - I thought that the salad was pretty good but it was a basic chicken Caesar salad. I tasted a lot more Dijon or something in the dressing itself. Wasn't a deal breaker but it was just an interesting flavor. Not without expect normal Caesar dressing. But maybe they made it in house so it had some extra homemade ingredients in it, I don't know. I did finish it though so let's not get it twisted, and it definitely was good but it was just interesting. Shrimp and grits - So the shrimp and girls was pretty good. They came with about five large shrimps and vegetables and a bowl. Talking to the waiter he said that it was going to be spicy. And this kind of let me down because it didn't have any spice to it because it's supposed to be a little bit Cajun. But that let down was not telling me that it was a bad dish by any means because it got finished with no hesitation. But if they say it's going to be a little bit spicy or anything of the light, don't keep that in your head. Speaking for myself, overall I thought that it was a pretty good experience. The food was pretty good and I did enjoy the customer service as well.

Yelp
Stopped for an impromptu happy hour. Grabbed a drink and a baratta app. The vibes were nice and the staff is friendly. I would go back to try the full dining experience. The only con is I signed up for a rewards card but haven't heard back.

Yelp
We went for a birthday dinner last month and found the environment and restaurant to be chic and inviting! Our server was great and had read the notes about us being non-drinkers as he thoughtfully brought lime syrup from the bar if we wanted to be extra festive! The burrata app was the one stand out dish; the strawberry vinaigrette was perfect. The steak and order of fries were straightforward, unremarkable. Great location, probably better for a bar meet up!
google avatar

Yelp
Ate here for lunch. Short rib sandwich was dry except for the mayo they smeared all over it when I specifically asked for no mayo. Fries were soft and bland. The service was fine, but I won't be back.

Yelp
My first time at 5Church on yesterday, I met friends for lunch. The food and service were great. The lamb burger with roasted potatoes + the strawberry salad was very good. Will definitely go back, the dining area in the sunroom gave good ambience for a rainy mid-day lunch.

Yelp
This was one of the places that I put in my collection as an interest. So when I got invited to go, I was excited! I can say that I can check this place off. The service was prompt, the space is very picturesque. It is like stepping into a bridal shower. There are flowers and well place lighting everywhere. Which of course makes you want to take a picture immediately upon entrance. Then you have the art that is scattered around for the guests to notice. The interior decorator definitely secured the vibe. I will say that they played music, but it wasn't turned on until the beginning of our end-of-meal round of mimosas ;) I was invited here for brunch on a Saturday. It was not very busy at all, I went around 11am. They have valet and the staff are there to greet you upon entry. We sat down and were told about the Miami Mimosa (Grenadine, Pinapple Juice. Orange juice and I believe some kind of vodka), Of course we ordered those. They were ok, but for the next round we just kept it simple with pineapple juice and champagne. This was because that was really all you could taste in the Miami besides the grenadine. It looked all beautiful and stuff but once stirred up just became a mimosa with grenadine. My friend ordered a salad, which was huge, and the shrimp and grits, which was 5 pieces of shrimp placed on a bed of grits with a sauce that was poured sloppily on top (Ya could've atleast wiped where you spilled the sauce around the bowl chefy daaaang)! I ordered the smoked salmon eggs benadict over a puff pastry. SN: One immediate end to my interest in revisiting a place is when I am immediately thinking about stopping by a fast food restaurant on the way home. When I tell you guysssss... I don't leave anything on my plate... You know what got left, the salmon! There were only a few shavings but the saltiness of this fish took over the entire meal gradually increasing in prominence. It made me feel like I know what salted meats tasted like in midieval times. The only thing that made it edible was the puff pastry (I'm a sucker for great bread) and the poached egg and hollandaise sauce which did not save face enough. The order was tiny, so was the menu and I should've gotten two orders, but you try not to appear greedy when invited out. Honorable mentions: My friend (another friend) tried the dinner and said that the expierence was the same amount of lack luster when it came to the food, but the ambiance was nice so atleast they are consistent. The plates coming out that we saw didn't look the greatest either. They would make great pictures, but I am pretty sure if you threw a piece of the French Toast at someone they would end up cuncussed or with a pretty bad skin abrasion. The chicken that comes with the chicken and waffles is a chicken breast. EH The tap water was refreshing! IYKYK! Do with this what you will, you will get great pictures! As for me I will always be Taste over Picturesque Where is the spellcheck on this app Gahhh - Pressing on!

Yelp
The food was OK. Sushi tots were the best rest was oversalty. The bread was so hard. And when I made reservations I made specifically for the time in the garden room when it wasn't 21+ yet you had to be 21+. Which is fine because of the miscommunication. The chicken and waffles had like a weird ginger taste. The food DISAPPOINTS. however it's a very cute place for brunch I will not lie.

Yelp
Stopped at 5 church for a quick bite while we were heading to another bar in the area. We were craving some oysters so we opted to get that and a side of fries to split. You know, girl dinner vibes. The fries were pretty good (it's hard to mess up fries), but the oysters just lacked. Lacked in seasoning, flavor, the whole nine. We tried to add some of the lemon provided to it and that did absolutely nothing at all. Disappointing because I've been meaning to try this place. I won't call it a bad restaurant because I've heard raving reviews about here, but the oysters really left a bad taste in my mouth.

Yelp
It was a great experience my wife and I really enjoyed our dinner date. Staff were very friendly and helpful with decision making for dessert. It's my regular go to now.

Yelp
The service was ok, not great. The host acted as if it was an inconvenience to seat me at a table because I was a party of one. The restaurant was not even half full. The server was inconsistent. Friendly, however never filled my drink, barely checked on me. The sushi tots were so good! Very fresh and hot. I ordered steak and eggs. The steak was cooked perfectly however my food was lukewarm. Not hot. For the food & service, it was overpriced. Also, the tip was automatic! The nerve....
google avatar

Xuanang H.

Yelp
I don't even know where to start. Overall, the food was mediocre, and so was the service. We visited on a Monday at lunchtime--not exactly a peak time. There were plenty of seats available, but we still had to wait five minutes to be seated. After that, we waited another 60 minutes for our food, even though we ordered nothing special, just a burger and pasta. The food wasn't worth the wait--mediocre food and mediocre service. Worst of all was the automatic 20% tip with additional processing fees. This was definitely the worst experience I've had in a while.
google avatar

Delina G.

Yelp
Breakfast here is amazing, especially the steak and eggs AND the chicken and waffles. A great brunch spot to go with the girls, dress cute and take cute pics. Service is fast and professional. Definitely heightened the experience

Yelp
I came here for a dating event. The restaurant was very well decorated and the ambiance was as if you were in a garden or a forest. Low light, very romantic and intimate. The service was outstanding and the staff ensured that we were very well taken care of. My glass of water was always full, they ensured that everyone received their correct meal based on our seating arrangements. I ordered the Branzino and I was not very ompressed. I think that it was good but there was no WOW factor! When I come to a Restaurant to. this caliber, I always look for the WOW factor because that is what you are paying for. To be an extraordinarily meal as it is a Chef and specialty menu. I would give them another try but it would not be my first option. Give them, a chance and write a review to prove me wrong.
google avatar

Yelp
5church was a very good restaurant to go to, I came after work with some coworkers and found it to be not busy, but it was a little hot inside. All of our waiters were very nice and so were the bartenders. The food was very good and I would come back. The drinks were great and I liked the options I gave you on the menu. They were all tasty not one complaint from the table. Everyone seem to love the Tough Love, though I didn't get it. The Cacio E Pepe was very good!
google avatar

Sharday J.

Yelp
I came here to eat on my most recent trip to Atlanta. The venue was astounding. There is so much detail in every aspect of this place. My friend and I sat in the sun-room. It was fabulous! The food, customer service, vibes... everything gets a 5-star from me! I will absolutely be back next time I'm in town!
google avatar

Tracy L.

Yelp
This place was just okay food wise. I guess you come here for a vibe but it was too pretentious staff wise and didn't live up to it with the food. I feel like the staff and management think their food is sooooo good but it's not. It's just a solid B/C imo. Gets really busy and also not good for groups at all. I wouldn't come here again but I would not recommend for over 5 people either. And it's hilarious that their "pay my bill at my table" feature charges you a 20% ish fee! On top of tip lol. Nope, there are better places to be.
google avatar

Ezzaray B.

Yelp
Great service, great food, great music, and great vibes every time I go. I appreciate their consistency in service so much! 5Church is one of my favorite places. I've been here late night for a friend's birthday celebration and in the day time for a late lunch with my mom and sister and I found this place perfect for each occasion.

Yelp
I had previously dined at the Midtown location for dinner a few years ago and the food left much to be desired. My family decided to give the Buckhead location a try to celebrate my sister's birthday over brunch. When making the reservation there are options on which area in the restaurant you'd like to dine so we selected the sunroom and it did not disappoint. We valeted for parking. I'm not sure if there were other options available. When we arrived we were seated in the sunroom promptly. Our waitress was very sweet, gave thorough recommendations and was very attentive to our party. The sunroom decor was stunning that was enhanced by the beautiful sunlight. There was great music playing but I was glad it wasn't too loud so you can enjoy brunch comfortably. We stared with mimosas and manmosas (champagne, beer and orange juice). For our entrees we ordered the steak and eggs, chicken and waffle, banana French toast and breakfast potatoes. My husband enjoyed how the steak was cooked and marinated. The chicken was seasoned very well with the perfect portioned waffle. And my Mom and sister both loved their French toast and potatoes. The restaurant does not do courtesy birthday dessert. We ordered a cheesecake for the birthday girl that was just okay. Overall we enjoyed our food and had a great experience, will definitely dine here again.
google avatar

Kiera A.

Yelp
Visited for lunch and sat in the sunroom. Ambiance was great and the drinks and food were as pretty as the restaurant itself. I enjoyed everything we ordered and our servers were present and fun, making recommendations and helping us choose based on our tastes. Fortunately, this was a far more enjoyable experience than I had at the Midtown location.

Yelp
5Church at colony square is in my regular rotation, so I was excited to see how this one compared. We came for Saturday brunch. Parking is tight, but valet is complimentary and you can tip what you like. This 5Church seems smaller and they decor is brighter and more airy. The outside area is beautiful, adorned with pretty flowers and plants--like a garden! We wanted to sit out there, but there wasn't anymore space. Our server (Myron I think) was fantastic. He gave us recommendations, made sure our orders were correct when they arrived at the table, and everything else. He really elevated the experience! I ordered the biscuits and gravy and a pineapple mimosa. The biscuit was assembled like a sandwich and came with a side of fruit, potatoes, and pimento cheese. It was pretty good. My friends got the burger and fries, which they loved. I would definitely recommend, and I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Coolest decor, impecable service and the most delicious food. This place is whimsical, elevated and unique. I went with a big group and got to try a bunch of things: the salmon appetizer (amazing!), the land and sea plate (the pork belly to die for and the scallops were perfectly cooked), the filet with mushrooms (absolutely on point), broccoli (it had a little kick), and Brussels sprouts (delish). For desert I had the banana crème brûlée and it was insanely decadent. They nailed EVERYTHING! Very memorable meal.
google avatar

Adrienne S.

Yelp
Loved the ambiance of this place. The chicken and waffles were good. Had the tropical mimosas and it was good until we noticed a gnat in our pitcher. However, the manager did come over and replaced it. Overall, I enjoyed the vibe of this place.

Yelp
You can't beat the ambiance in the sunroom. It's super lively and the fake foliage make you feel like you're outside! The bone marrow was a little disappointing, as it was mixed with the meat, so you didn't get the marrow on its own. There also was not enough naan served alongside the bone marrow to use as a full spread. The smoked salmon was really good, but a funky flavor. It could have done without the cucumber lime water. There were too many flavors occurring at the same time. So beware if you're weird with food! The banana crème brûlée and cheesecake were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed both of those flavors. Buyer beware, a $50 service charge per person is required when dining out here. It is waved as long as the bill is $50/person.

Yelp
Very disappointed in the service tonight. Our server was kind and considerate but not very informative of the menu or items we ordered. Our meal took an hour to come out & once we received it, it was not what we ordered. We ask for the tomahawk steak for two in medium well and our steak was dripping in blood. And to top it off we had a fussy 10 month old baby. After expressing our disappointment to the manger on this night (4/28) she was extremely demeaning and minimized our concern as to say this was our first time having a tomahawk. She did not offer any solutions nor did she accommodate us or our baby for the extremely long wait. She had horrible customer service skills and I would not recommend at all.

Yelp
First I have to say I really appreciated the artwork. It really went a long way in setting up the ambiance. Service was swift and attentive and the food was delicious. I had the Pan seared salmon and shrimp. The Salmon was cooked perfectly and the purée was phenomenal and paired well with the vegetables. The cornbread was also delicious, I felt my self savoring every bite. Will be back

Yelp
If I could give this place zero stars I would. The decor and ambiance are cute but that's about it. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. Literally anywhere else! I had a group of three in my party. We ordered two mimosas and one lemonade. The mimosas literally took 30 minutes to arrive and the lemonade about 40 minutes. When the mimosas finally arrived they were warm. I couldn't even drink it. Gross. Next, we ordered chicken and waffles. It took an hour to get the chicken and waffles! The place wasn't even that busy. The food was mediocre at best. No apologies for the bad service and then they had the audacity to charge 20% gratuity. Needless to say next time I come to ATL I definitely won't be back at this establishment!

Yelp
I was not expecting this place to be as nice as it is. The decor inside is next level, perfect for date night. I sat at the bar, if you're looking for good drinks ask for Tysean he knows what he's doing.

Yelp
The servers at the bar were friendly and apologetic but the service was VERY slow. The food was okay, and my first drink (egress) was good. One of the worst espresso martinis I have had, wouldn't recommend for $17. This place also automatically adds a 20% gratuity to your bill. Valet is complimentary but that is the only option for parking

Yelp
Came here over the weekend and was honestly disappointed. I love the midtown location so figured I would check out the Buckhead. I ordered an old fashioned and when given the drink, my glass was completely broken. There was a huge chip at the top. My friend asked the bartender how he did not notice this or did it happen while he was making my drink. All that was offered was "well do you want me to strain it for you?". This made me nervous as glass could've still been in the drink. Personally, a new one should've been made. Right after this he gave me my bill even though I planned on ordering more. Closed out and was disappointed they automatically add 20% gratuity because the service I received was not worth it.

Yelp
I've visited the 5Church in Midtown for dinner but this was my first time at the Buckhead location. I made a reservation for the Sunroom for 1:30pm brunch. We were running a little late so I called and they accommodated us. The sunroom was absolutely gorgeous! The waiter stated that it was inspired by the Atlanta Botanical Garden. The temperature on the patio was comfortable to my guest and I. Food! It was amazing. My friend has the steak and eggs and stated that it was good. It does come with a side of potatoes. The ham and cheese sandwich is a must try too! Eggs were good. Fries were fresh! We did not get to try the grits because they ran out. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Decor This location was a bit smaller than the one downtown, still lovely in decor, but very cramped. Service I definitely appreciate how considerate and kind the valet was. The waiter was very charismatic, and continue to check on us frequently. They were very knowledgeable on the menu and even recommended great drinks. Drinks Your cocktail, queen stamps her approval on the delicious drinks served here! The fresh, quality ingredients paired with your favorite choice in liquor will dance on your taste buds. This is definitely the kind of place that you come to grab quality a drink. Food I wasn't a fan of the food. The charcuterie board was the best part of the food experience. The variety of things on the board was absolutely exciting and flavorsome. However, I didn't prefer a leg quarter, and did not know that was the part of the chicken that would be prepared. It was prepared with a teriyaki like sauce, on a bed of steam bok choy, with peeled carrot pieces. It was a disappointing combination! I was left eating my sides. I won't say the whole menu is disappointing but I wouldn't choose this particular dish.

Yelp
Brunch on Sunday: I will say the decor was very beautiful, the valet service was excellent, and definitely get a reservation. Restrooms were clean. I thought for the price the portions were on the small side. The server was very nice and helpful. But overall the food was good, and like I said it was pricey in my opinion. Just nothing really special.

Yelp
Went here tonight! The patio or sun room is the place to go for the decor and ambiance! The deception tequila drink was enjoyable and will say they make a great cocktail! I got the wagyu burger which from the description sounded amazing, but honestly it was underwhelming. I was in a party of 3 and when my food came the burger was not warm l and the fries were cold. I asked for new fries and Just stuck with the burger although I should have sent it back. Unfortunately, not impressed and the service was slow (45 or more mins for food when it was empty, 15 mins to come back to get the check). They even came and provided complimentary hummus because they knew the food was taking forever and still came out cold. Maybe it was an off night but not sure I would recommend.

Yelp
I came here once sometime last year for dinner and everything was great. Recently I went again, for brunch with my sister. While the brunch menu didn't seem to have very many options, we still had a great experience. Since we went on a whim, we opted to sit at the bar instead of getting onto the waitlist. -The ambience is always nice! Pretty decor - and not the cheap trendy TikTok look - classy business up in here ok? -Complimentary valet -Mimosas are just $6! I had the grapefruit one, which sounds very typical and unimpressive, but somehow it's the most delicious mimosa I've ever had?! So I got another one. -Girl, the bartender was so friendly, charming and accommodating I almost asked the man for his phone number! Not you coming out from behind the counter to walk up and personally deliver me the cup of ketchup I requested! A1 service with a little chivalry on the side. Definitely coming back!!

Yelp
This restaurant was lovely. 5church has complimentary valet parking and free validated parking - in ATL that's hard to come by so 10 before we even walked in. Inside was beautiful, modern and CLEAN. We made reservations and the hostess were more than accommodating and super sweet. We had a table in the sunroom which was elegant and wonderfully decorated- definitely instagram worthy! Our server Darry was AMAZING- she was so nice, attentive, and swift. The food was a 10! The biscuits and gravy were flavorful and fresh. The waffle was fluffy yet crispy and the hot syrup was perfect. If you're non-pork like me this restaurant is at the top of the list for breakfast places :) Overall 5church gets 5 stars

Yelp
This place is awesome!! For the local ATLian or the out of towner, you have to try this place. The decor is trendy, artsy, and unique to this location! The food is adventurous, colorful & VERY flavorful. The service is stellar. We had 3 or 4 people waiting on us & checking on us. AND they validate parking for 3 hours!!! #winning A little tid bit, the kitchen has to reset after brunch now, so after brunch ends at 3:00 there are no food options until 5:00. You can get your drink on, though!!!

Yelp
Beautiful venue with delicious food! A friend and I came for dinner. We started at the bar because we arrived 15 minutes early and they don't seat for dinner until 5:00pm. The cocktails were good! We took a look around before we sat for our meal- it's basically an art museum. A nice touch! When the food arrived we enjoyed every bite of what we ate. I don't think there's anything I wouldn't recommend. There was an event happening in the patio, so I plan try and make a reservation for it next time.

Yelp
Skip this. $200+. Dollars later, i got my food to go and will never ever return here. After being charged $100 for 3 guests not showing up (which we couldn't control) I was so furious I boxed up my filet mignon and left. At some point, with so many choices in Atlanta, it comes down to customer service. This was my first time in Atlanta in 50 YEARS AND I'm sorry I spent one evening of my trip here. Won't be back and suggest you skip it.

Yelp
I had dinner last night around 6:30pm. Valet parking was offered so you don't have to stress about that. The restaurant is beautiful. We sat in the sunroom. After 8pm there is DJ, great music. It's a little too loud for me. I feel like I need to yell for my friend to hear me. Overall great ambiance and decorations. We ordered wagyu burger; there is fresh watercress vegetable so very interesting. Presentation is on point. Shrimp and grits were delicious. We also ordered salmon which is the most disappointing. I expected good quality when it comes to fish filets. The salmon had so much bones. Big bones I might not mind. These smaller bones just waste my time chewing in caution of course. The manager did make her round to the table and was able to give discount for the salmon, 50% off. Needless to say we sent the salmon back to the kitchen. Her accommodation was appreciated. My favorite dish would be the side order of brussel sprouts, well seasoned and cooked just right. It was a birthday dinner for me and my friend asked for a dessert. They gave us a scoop of raspberry sorbet. I was hoping to try a really good dessert so that was disappointing. I did have to ask for water multiple times, at least three times. Restaurant seems busy which is good. Perhaps hire more servers? Comes to payment time there is a convenient app called Sunday that the restaurant used to easily split the check if needed. Great option!

Yelp
The bar experience at 5Church Buckhead is top-tier! The cocktails are expertly crafted, and the service is impeccable. The bartender (Brandon) was quick, attentive, and created a great atmosphere, even during the busiest moments. Definitely a must-visit if you're in the area!

Yelp
Very busy so it is a long wait. Took us over an hour to be seated and receive our orders. They got our orders incorrect so we had to wait an extra 15 minutes to receive the correct items. It's beautiful inside and the perfect place for brunch otherwise. There is a 20% service fee added to checks in lieu of gratuity. Mimosas are good. We ordered the steak and eggs as well as the chicken and waffles. The steak was seasoned beautifully and cooked to perfection. The chicken and waffles weren't as good: the breading on the chicken was flaking off and the waffles were a bit dry. Our guests had the eggs Benedict and rated it a 4/5. Overall it was a decent experience. Maybe we will try again.

Yelp
Worth avoiding this place on weekends. No reservation means long wait times. Ham and cheese sandwich as part of the 5church breakfast is probably one of their better dishes. Cornbread was also great. Everything else seemed mediocre. Oily fries, under-roasted potatoes, chewy steak to name few are disappointing for a supposedly premium brunch place. They also mandate a minimum 20% gratuity. I will not be repeating. Service - 4/5 Food - 2.5/5 Ambience - 3/5
