Where to Eat Along America’s Iconic Highways | Eater

"U.S. Highway 66, or Route 66, is one of the first numbered highways in the United States, running nearly 2,500 miles between Santa Monica, California, and Chicago. Not quite as old as the highway is 66 Diner, which opened in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1987 with a cheeky 1950s theme. Now, the mom-and-pop diner is run by a mom herself, Christy, and her two daughters. The theme is retro Americana, so of course there’s a jukebox to enjoy while sipping shakes, enjoying burgers, and Frito pies: a New Mexico staple of chili-topped corn chips." - Vox Creative

This is a staple when in Albuquerque! A total must do and we go here on the way to and from our California trip every year. Delicious food, extra large homemade shakes and pies. Large menu to choose from and everything we've had has always been great. Wait staff and service are always great. Adorable old-time atmosphere with lots of photos and memorabilia to look at.

It's like taking a trip down memory lane, with both the food and the decor. I hadn't had an ice cream soda in years, but you can get all flavors here, and real milkshakes, too. At night, the outside is fantastic. It's a great place for a meal, or just dessert. The staff were friendly and super nice, too.

Any fans of Route 66 or 50s nostalgia need to make a stop here! The atmosphere was amazing and we loved the memorabilia and music. The staff were friendly and attentive. We were impressed with the quality of food as well. I would definitely come back anytime.

66 Diner on Route 66 captures the true spirit of the classic American diner. The retro-style interior, checkered floors, neon lights, and vintage wall art instantly take you back to the 90s. Even the exterior wall filled with old signs adds a special touch that makes it stand out. It’s not just a restaurant, it’s an experience. If you love classic vibes and good energy, this spot in Albuquerque is absolutely worth a visit.

Google
The food and the ambiance are great, but the true 66 Diner experience is sitting on the counter stools watching the waitresses work the shake and float station and eavesdropping on their patter. The Albuquerque tukey sandwich I had was one of the best sandwiches that has ever graced my mouth. Bits of turkey and green chilies, cheese and butter toasted bread were ambrosia. The afformentioned ice cream station is a highlight. I ordered a peanut butter and banana shake that came in a throwback shake goblet and 2/3 of my shake in the mixing glass. I also ordered a float that was perfect when my waitress suggested creme soda. Is there a kitsch factor with 66 Diner? Yes. Does that only add to how delicious and enjoyable everything was? Yes.

Really neat place. Wait was a little long, but well worth it. Burger was great and food was even better. I really wanted to try the shake but wasn't in the budget for this trip. Really neat diner themed to the days of old. Originally was a service station and then became a diner in 87. Well worth the stop.

We stopped by the 66 Diner after a long walk around UNM. Even though we weren’t too hungry, we couldn’t resist grabbing a shake and a Diet Coke to go. The retro interior is absolutely charming — neon lights, Route 66 memorabilia, and that classic diner vibe that makes you want to linger. The staff were incredibly friendly. One server went out of her way to recommend a shake and malt, and noticing that our Lyft was waiting and there were several orders ahead, she personally made mine so we wouldn’t have to wait long. That small act of kindness really stood out. I tried the Black Forest shake, which was rich, indulgent, and exactly what I hoped for. Even though it was just a quick visit, the combination of atmosphere, hospitality, and flavor made it a great experience.

A little step back in time. Fast and friendly service. Good quality burgers and a big shake selection. Also flavor adds for your sodas!

Yelp
66 Diner is such a classic Albuquerque must experience. I personally love their burgers and always add a side of gravy for the fries, but the food is exactly what you would expect to find at a classic diner. They've got a decent variety of diner foods and lots of treats, including milkshakes and pies. On my most recent visit, I tried the teeny weeny sundae which was so cute and literally just a scoop of ice cream in a sauce cup with fudge and toppings. The service was great, and of course the environment is just fun and nostalgic.
google avatar

Phillip M.

Yelp
Yes, highly recommend this place. The environment was fun. The food was as expected for a diner. The burger patty was par, but it was tasty. The fries were fresh and crispy The carrot cake serve a la mode was very good. And to be honest, you come here for the experience. It's like stepping into a Time Machine, where the staff wears the uniform and a smile. They were extremely helpful and friendly, especially asking for recommendations for things to do in Albuquerque.

Yelp
66 diner is so good! The decor is so fun and the food is even better. I ordered the 66 burger (bacon and green chile) with 66 fries (cheese and green chile). Both were very good and fresh! Our waiter was very friendly and service was quick! We were there about 4:30 on a Tuesday. There were several things on the menu that I wanted to try so I'm definitely going back in the future. They also have their own small parking lot connected to them which I liked.

Yelp
Good morning on another beautiful day in Central New Mexico. Today, the boys from the VA Creative Writing Group ventured near to the heart of Albuquerque, where we lunched at the 66 Diner on Central Avenue. What a great place to visit, eat, and share camaraderie. The food was terrific, the service impressive (fast and non-obtrusive), and you can easily spend hours appreciating the historic decor both outside and inside a former Phillips 66 service station. Come for the food and stay to see all of the interesting tchotchke. To preview your visit, click on the following YouTube video link and join us in enjoying ourselves as you will when you visit the 66 Diner. https://youtu.be/gDLpT4UmtbA?si=iwYlmZiHGKtucgCv

Yelp
Ahhh! New favorite diner in all of New Mexico! Such a wonderful place because of the decor, nostalgia, and vibes, but the food is good too! No pictures of the food listed because I ate it up too quickly. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. It was served on a soft, toasted bunch, came with onions, tomato, and lettuce. Flavorful, filling, and served quickly by friendly staff. I'm so happy that I stumbled upon this diner because I've already been back since my first stop. Later this month, I'll be back with my family and it'll be a party of 10 of us. Looking forward to it! Lastly want to note that you should be trying the pies!!

Yelp
Was planning to stop here on my recent roadtrip as I have a strict always eat at retro diners on road trips rule and I was able to eat here on my return trip home to AZ and this did not disappoint. The retro style atmosphere was awesome and the food was delicious. I had a Mac and cheese like dish with New Mexico green chilis in it and it was delicious!!! The staff was friendly and the overall experience was worth it. If you find yourself staying in or passing through Albuquerque, make a detour and eat here!!!

Yelp
This diner was once a gas station. So although not an original Route 66 diner, they have done a wonderful job creating a welcoming, diner/malt shop vibe. Located on a busy city street it's easy to fly by without noticing. We turned on to the side street and into their parking lot. Parking is on three sides of the building from what I saw. We were greeted upon entering and given a choice of seating options. The front has booth and counter seating. More booths and many tables are available in other dining areas. A small room at the back, which was the original automotive bay entrance when this was a garage, would make a good space for a small group (a dozen or so). Restrooms are near the entrance. Our waitress was very good, friendly, asked all the right questions, kept my iced tea and our waters full. We both had burgers and they were good. Fresh lettuce, good amount of toppings. My dining companion had a specialty burger and that big bun helped hold all the toppings in. For my mushroom swiss, the bun to burger ratio seems off. The burgers come with lettuce, tomato, pickles and mustard. You can request some or all of those be removed. The pickles are crisp and have a strong flavor. You have 'sides' options and 'upgrade side' options with the handheld menus. They also have entrees. Lots of chicken dishes and meatloaf. I would love to try one of their milk shakes and pies. So much food. So little time. Whether a local or a tourist this is a nice little diner.

Yelp
We walked in they were very busy, no one said anything to us. We didn't know if it was self seating or not so we sat our selves I mean no one was uo there for a good 8 minutes. Once the server came to us she told us to get up and wait over by the front counter which there was no room to wait with a big family was all standing there and did insinuate the booth we were at was free game to sit at for us. We are sad to have not tried the place because it was very cute themed but there was so many people we just left.
google avatar

Tamara L.

Yelp
Food was good, atmosphere here was like a flash back in time best part was the staff they were incredibly friendly and the place was super busy!!
google avatar

Emily Y.

Yelp
The vibes are immaculate. The decor, staff uniform, lighting, and food come together and form a little pocket of diner glory in today's modern world. I got the Fender Bender, which is a half size of the Pile Up, and even that was a lot of food to me! I did also get a slice of Strawberry Rhubarb pie, and a warm pie is always so comforting.
google avatar

Lisa D.

Yelp
Always busy...always packed...service is always great. I love the dozens upon dozens of PEZ dispensers decorating the entire diner. Food comes out quickly. If you are looking for a sweet treat...you cannot go wrong with the shakes. You get enough to share, which we usually do. I had the chicken tenders (sorry I forgot to grab a pic before I snarfed it all up). Love the fries. The fiesta burger is great. The meatloaf is great. Basically, it is hard to go wrong when choosing something off the menu. Parking can be a little hairy.

Yelp
Tried a new place to eat at... the atmosphere was amazing, the waitress was awesome and the food was great!

Yelp
This is such a fun retro dinner on Route 66. They have specials on the board. My food was good. I didn't have a shake this time. I did when I was here years ago and it was delicious. Definitely recommend if you're in town. Bathroom was clean too.

Tom S.

Yelp
First: Service was very slow. We went in with a group of 50 people and our table of 4 was the last to be served. Of the 15 tables, our food was not delivered until most of the other table were done eating. The diner did not manage the tables to insure fast service. With the meals coming so late, we did not have time to eat our food. Very poor management of the staff. Their excuse was, we are very busy. THIS IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE EXCUSE! Second: The food for our group of 4 was not only very slow, but it was OK at best. We would never recommend this diner.
google avatar

Gloria S.

Yelp
I sought out this restaurant while staying in the local hotel as we were traveling through because they offer a gluten free menu! I was EXCITED that their fries are in a dedicated fryer! The service was great and I LOVED the decorations. The menu is extensive and the dessert menu is incredible. Definitely a trip back when we come through this part of the states.
google avatar

Tony M.

Yelp
I ordered a pie for a dinner. When I made a trip to get it. When I arrived home the bottoms of the box was completely covered in a tacky substance. When I called about it the manager was unsure what it was said he felt it was good. Didn't make any effort to resolve my concerns. They called back and require me to take it back just before closing for another one.

Izzy A.

Yelp
The atmosphere of the place is absolutely stunning. Such a blast in the past with a fun vibe. Service? Not so much. Doesn't ever seem short staff when I go in but everything does tend to take a while to get. Food always just sits in the window while there's girls standing around when they could be running it out to guests. The food usually comes out very tasty as well but it would probably taste better fresh rather than lukewarm.

Yelp
This is a long overdue review. Recently I have had the unfortunate opportunity to spend a considerable amount of time at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque. One day I was hungry enough to consider the hospital cafeteria, but fortunately it was closed. I was forced to go to the only place near by - 66 Diner. Ravenous and moody, I walked into this very classic, authentic diner and sat down at the counter. I waited as the extremely busy soda jerks created milkshakes, malts and some insane looking banana splits...and I waited, and waited. Not one even glanced in my direction. I was sure my diner experience would be a bust. I eventually got frustrated and relocated to a table. Ready to be surly, I was approached by a very friendly waitress who apologized to me for not being serviced at the counter. I ordered the Diamond Back Burger with Cheddar Fries, side of mayo, side of ranch and hot sauce. I'm going to be honest...my expectations were low...I mean extremely low...probably exacerbated by my grouchy mood. When my super friendly waitress delivered my food, miraculously there was a side of mayo, a side of ranch and hot sauce brought right along with it and it looked amazing. The minute I took my first bite, my grouchy, moody, frustrated attitude melted away. The burger was flavorful, hot and juicy, the bun perfectly toasted, the cheese beautifully melted, the bacon crispy and delicious and the jalapenos, both fresh and grilled, provided the perfect bite. The fries were hot and crispy and held up to the melty delicious cheese. I was amazed, comforted and sated. Since that first wonderful burger experience, I have been back several times and ordered via DoorDash to my mother's hospital room. In addition to having the Diamond Back Burger a second time (with 66 Fries YUM), my family and I have tried the Fried Chicken Sandwich, Hot Meatloaf Sandwich, Texas Chili, New Mexico Green Chili Stew, several milkshakes and the Coconut Cream Pie. Every single menu item has been terrific. With the exception of my initial counter experience the service has been exceptional and the overall diner ambiance is one that you just can't find these days. This is my go to place in Albuquerque. Don't miss it!

Yelp
Great Service. Lisa is great you will be lucky if she is your waitress. Fast friendly and delicious. Limited parking, but you can usually find a spot. Car Pool if you can or ride a bike. They sell whole Pies and Cakes. The music is classic 50's rock and roll. The shake of the month (October) is Pumpkin Cheesecake. True Americana Classic Diner.

Yelp
Amazing gem! The food is amazing, the service is nice, the ambience is very 50-60s diner vibes. The food is very affordable and good quality. Highly recommend their gravy!! I just got a normal hamburger but everything tasted delicious and their shakes are ground breaking!

Good D.

Yelp
Wow, thought I was going to get standard diner food but quality is 5 stars. We had a burger, fried chicken breast, mash potatoes, French fries, pecan pie, strawberry malt shake. All 5 stars with the server getting 5 stars for attentiveness. A good place to stop by to get a quality meal.

Barb V.

Yelp
It's so nice that after so long a time, this restaurant is still serving good food with good service. I enjoyed the best Chocolate malt! The chicken fried steak was very good and the breading was crispy the way I like it. My husband enjoyed his cheeseburger.

Jay T.

Yelp
Couldn't believe my cousin had never been here before, so I took her for a shake. Malt shake, that is. I had the Elvis, she had the Turtle. Absolutely delicious! We had already eaten a burger elsewhere, mainly because I was hangry, otherwise we would have grabbed food here as well. But even though it was just a couple of shakes, the amazing Julia was polite, receptive, and wonderfully attentive. They had a sandwich on the board that I almost forced myself to eat, but I also need a slice of that delicious rhubarb pie... so many reasons to return! And if you show up around 2:30 PM, the environment is calm, and everything about this restaurant is clean, tidy, and orderly.
google avatar

Larry P.

Yelp
The food was good just a lot of it! I finished all of it! Our server was very nice and was expecting a baby girl in about one month! Congratulations!! This place take you back to the 50s and early 60s.
google avatar

Stacy S.

Yelp
Good service in a funky diner. And perfect diner meal for our Route 66 drive: burgers, fries and a shake. He had the 66 burger with onion rings, I had the vegetarian burger with fries. He had a vanilla shake, and I had chocolate... the shake portions were huge - we really could have shared one. Instead, we both enjoyed every bite of our respective shakes and left full.

Phil C.

Yelp
I usually rate 66 very high but today's experience was different. I ordered a sloppy martin, which is a sloppy Joe with onions and cheese. What I got was about 3/4 lb of onions, no meat, and cheese While I know people who like onion sandwiches, I am not one of them. We've gone to 66 for years, but we will be giving them a hard pass in the future Also, my wife's Cobb salad had a bunch of diced onions instead of a boiled egg. I guess 66 had a special onion purchase. Never again. Kiss those 30% tips goodbye.
google avatar

Michael H.

Yelp
Certainly seems authentic Route 66 from the building design to the interior decoration and the waitress uniforms. Awesome venue and a lot of fun just looking at the wall art and decor. Fun!!! Lots of parking but it was full due to the extreme popularity of this restaurant. The food . Wow. I had the Chicago Dog which was a special and my son had the Diamond Back burger and Mac and Cheese. The dog was huge. It would embarrass most of the dogs I actually eat in Chicago. Delicious. The burger Joes said was good also but the Mac and cheese was next level creamy and delicious. I thought he might lick the bowl. Great food and experience. The service was fast and good. Destiny explained the menu items and was great. The place was absolutely covered up also at 1:30pm. Amazing.

Christy V.

Yelp
Cool 50's diner on Central Ave. Delicious food, ice cream sundaes and good service. Fun music on the jukebox.

Jermo F.

Yelp
It's a cool retro spot. Service was inexplicably slow since I was 1 of 2 customers and there were about 5 employees. Green hatch chili burger was good. Wrapped it up with a Pink Cadillac.
google avatar

Sharon H.

Yelp
We of course had to make a stop here while visiting Albuquerque. While I loved the inside decor and the outside photo stops the food we had for lunch was just okay and not necessarily something I would come back for however this was definitely one of the Best milkshakes that I have had. Until next review Kisses
google avatar

John D.

Yelp
Enjoy coming here, the food is generally good and enough to sate most hungers. Today it was Peach Shake with plenty of peach chunks, chicken tenders that were(tender & not greasy) and the daily special - Santa Monica Burger(Parmesan crusted sourdough bread, lettuce, tomato, and guac. They missed the mark here. Great concept, but the meat was cooked beyond well-done, dry with little taste. Nothing in burger could compensate for the lack of moisture. Oh well... Next Time

Yelp
We come here every year around Valentines Day. We always have a special request, which they have always accommodated (bonus star for that): we take our son and his girlfriend and we ask for two tables for two, so they can have some time semi-alone (they're 12) and we can still drive them there and pick up the tab when we are done. We've done this for 5 straight years and have had five really good meals out of it, so I'm pretty comfortable leaving a good review. Route 66 is a diner and so they specialize in comfort food. My husband usually gets the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and white gravy along with some fried okra. Pretty unusual in New Mexico and they do it well. I usually get the patty melt and fries and it's delicious as well. My kiddo gets the frito pie and his girlfriend gets the salad. Thumbs up from them as well, but where this place excels is in the shakes and drinks. I always get a Diet Coke with cherry and my husband gets a Dr Pepper with vanilla. And it always tastes about 100% better than any other place I've tried. The kids get shakes, which are hand blended on order and those are pretty special as well. There's about 20 different kinds and my son got the strawberry cheesecake and his girlfriend got the peanut butter chocolate. Yum. The diner gets top stars on atmosphere too, with a Pez collection that runs around all 3 rooms of the restaurant, just under the ceiling. They always look clean and dust free, too. I want their cleaning secrets. This place is a solid comfort food choice that we'd visit more often if it was closer (it's on the west side of campus, just across from the main Presbyterian hospital). Thanks for letting us hang with you on love-day!!
google avatar

Terri H.

Yelp
Ahhhh give me old fashioned service, great food, and a cool vibe! I'm in! First, we were sat quickly and got to admire the Extensive PEZ collection. Something my friend's niece and I had fun with. Then menus came, I chose a queso burger, kiddo got chicken fingers, hubby got beef enchiladas and my friend got a cheeseburger. The kiddo and I played games on the kids menu and the food came so quick, we didn't finish! My queso burger (open face burger drenched in queso sauce. Super yum! We all dug in so fast, the food screamed "EAT ME" Let me tell ya, the only complaint is maybe parking, but in ABQ, downtown, nob hill.... IFYKYK! Otherwise, the food was grand! Service top north! BTW, if you are full, can't enjoy a pie. Take slice home, missing out on pie, is not the full meal! I had an old southern fave, buttermilk and hubby had chocolate crème. Sublime! So, if you're looking for a place to eat on lower central are, go t 66! The 1950's vibe , food and service will bring you back time after time!

Yelp
First visit but definitely not our last I got the green chile burger and fries and they were awesome... plus a chocolate shake

Yelp
So delicious ! Had to try this place out because I found it on tiktok! It is super cute with their old diner aesthetic, but not only is it cute the food was actually great! I came in around dinner time like 6 and between then and 7 it got super packed! I got seated super quickly and my server Grace was amazing! She was super nice and also everything I needed came to the table quickly! I ordered their 66 burger and subbed the fries for the fiesta fries which has chilli and cheese. Everything was so so good!! The portions were crazy huge, which is nice because the prices are a bit high but can't complain because the food quality matched! Also ordered an Oreo shake and it was bomb!! I guarantee you if I visit New Mexico anytime soon I will be going straight to this diner! It's all American food but the quality is definitely and the service was great!
google avatar

Caitlyn S.

Yelp
If you want a diner experience, this is it. For me, you can really judge a diner based on the shakes, haha. I didn't get one this time, but I could tell they were a main attraction here. We got the queso fries (duh), which were amazingly good. I got the grilled chicken sandwich. It was good, albeit a bit greasy and didn't have a whole lot going on. The fries were delicious! You also get to experience one of the biggest Pez collections around, which was fun. And don't forget to check out the Elvis display right next to the bathroom entrance. The service was really fast and kind, given how busy they were. I used to want to work at a diner as a kid to be able to wear the outfits, and this brought me way back to that wish with the ones the servers wore here. Don't forget to get a photo op outside by the Route 66 road signs too! It's also walkable to the college campus, which is a nice way to walk off dinner.
google avatar

Sam E.

Yelp
Food was good, the burgers were delicious. Service was good ambience overall was nice, Elvis Presley was definitely present
google avatar

Joshua G.

Yelp
Really good green chile burger. Service was friendly and the ambiance was Route 66 paraphernalia.
google avatar

Stephanie A.

Yelp
The food was amazing! Service was a little slow but they seemed understaffed. I loved the vibes of the restaurant! Super classic. Will go back again!
google avatar

Gloria T.

Yelp
This place is a must visit if you're in Albuquerque. The decor is so cute - 66 signs, jukebox, Elvis, Betty Boop, Pez candy, hopscotch, retro bar. They have an extravagant Pez collection, all lined up on the walls on top. Outdoor is a wall of Route 66 signs. The milkshakes are done in the old machines. The food is mediocre. They also sell souvenirs. There is a parking lot. Lots of seats.
google avatar

Leann H.

Yelp
As a fellow time traveler, I felt right at home at the 66 Diner. The milkshake was incredible, the burger and fries felt like home, and the staff were amazing. My husband and I split the burger, fries and milkshake, just like we do when we are back home in 1955. The Pez-heavy decor and Elvis poster really sold us. Maybe when I am back in 2024 I will visit again. Happy travels!

Yelp
Decided to stop and try this diner while passing by from a roadtrip, huge disappointment! The only star this place gets is for the decorations as it does give that old school diner feel, as for service and food I wish I could give it a negative star. We came in and they told us there was a 20 min wait to be seated which we were okay with, once seated our waitress took about 10 min to come and take our drinks by which at that time we were already decided on what to order. We ordered our food at 1:25pm and at 1:43 pm the waitress came by the table again and asked if we were ready to order in which we told her we had already ordered?? And she said oh well yea it's gonna be a 45 min wait because we are crazy busy. Mind you that place was not that busy (will insert pictures while at the restaurant) and walked away. In my opinion if that was the case she would have told us before ordering. Our food came out at 2:16 pm and it was a huge disappointment.. I ordered the grilled ham and cheese and the cheese wasn't even fully melted. My mother and sister were also disappointed in their burger and crispy chicken salad. Huge let down & DO NOT recommend this place to anyone passing by. Our server was Ruby btw, I don't blame her for the food but her service was awful she checked on us a total of about 2 tim
google avatar

Donn D.

Yelp
The food was good. My wife enjoyed the Liver and Onions and I had a nice patty melt. The peanut butter shake was pretty spot on and seeing the size of their ten dollar banana split was a sight to behold. Plenty of servers and lots of customers. So why a two star review you ask? It's all about the cleanliness. I get that their busy, but the bathrooms were absolutely filthy. Disgustingly so. From where we sat across from the register I could see directly into the walkway to the kitchen, and the amount of food, trash and dirty towels on the floor was just not something I can ignore. If the places I can see look this bad, it only leaves me to wonder what does the actual kitchen looks like. Good food? Yes. Retro old school vibe? Definitely! A place I would risk my health returning to? Hard pass.

Janay W.

Yelp
They were extremely busy given that it was a Friday night, so I was impressed that we got in and got seated right away. We both got burgers which were fantastic. The milkshakes were for dessert, and were so so good. I will go back just for the milkshakes!!!!

Pam P.

Yelp
Was a little disappointed as I ordered a hamburger with mustard, onion, pickles. Got that and more , cheese and bacon. The waitress offered to replace it so I said okay. Well after a long wait got one and there was bacon and green chilli on it Was charged for two burgers that I did not eat. Will go. Back again but will make it very clear what it want and ask her to make sure it is what I want!I have eaten here several times and was never disappointed.
google avatar

Atalanta P.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday night and it was busy. Service was therefore a little slow but very friendly, and we had a slight wait for our food but it came out to us hot and fresh. My patty melt was a perfect classic patty melt and exactly what I was craving, and my friend's fried zucchini was crisp and tasty. The key lime pie was also delicious.

Anna C.

Yelp
Great vibe. Classic diner feel, food was pretty great! Not too crowded at 5 pm. Loved this stop on historic Route 66!

We visited as a part of a cross country roadtrip. As Brits we don't get to do the proper Diner experience. My goodness we had the best time, the staff were super friendly and helpful, the diner was so cool and made it feel like all those movies we grew up with, retro without being twee. And the food, oooo I am craving the burger and fries again. I wish I lived close enough to go regularly

Yelp
A fun little diner that brings you back to the past! I really like the decor and ambiance of this little diner. They have such history as they're located on route 66. All sorts of photos, old memorabilia, and lots of Pez dispensers. The food is exactly as one should expect from a diner. Solid and does the trick. Nothing too extravagant, but also something for anybody. Service was astounding. Super friendly and really on top of it. I highly recommend this place if you're doing a route 66 trip or if you're in the area.
