Inside Yellowstone’s Taylor Sheridan’s Remodel of Fort Worth Steakhouse | Eater Dallas

"A Weatherford-based cattle operation that supplies beef to Sheridan’s ventures and to area restaurants, it is highly regarded by local chefs and operators; Brandon Hurtado says the ranch’s beef is some of the best he’s had and that his business is likely the largest user of its beef in the United States. The ranch also participates in regional breeding collaborations, receiving wagyu bulls to support its herd." - Courtney E. Smith

Explaining the Wide Western World of ‘Yellowstone’ Kitchen Items | Eater

"Operated by Taylor Sheridan in central Texas, this large working ranch raises “genetically superior Angus” across thousands of acres and sells Prime steaks directly to consumers. The property has been featured on the TV series, fueling rumors of a spin-off centered on the ranch that could potentially involve Matthew McConaughey. The ranch’s ties to the show extend into food merchandising: chef Gabriel “Gator” Gilbeau appears on-screen as the Duttons’ private chef and also contributes recipes and endorsements for branded culinary products, with plans reportedly including wood-fired smokers and other branded gear. Overall, the ranch functions as both an active cattle operation and a branded food venture Sheridan appears likely to keep promoting after the series ends." - Amy McCarthy

An Unforgettable Journey Through the 6666 Ranch I recently had the pleasure of taking the tour at the iconic 6666 Ranch, and it was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, the experience was deeply enriching, thanks in large part to our guide, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the ranch's rich history. Our guide provided fascinating insights into the legacy of the original owner, Burk Burnett, whose vision has shaped the ranch into what it is today. Learning about how Burnett transformed the land into one of the largest ranches in Texas was both educational and inspiring. The stories of the ranch's past, combined with its ongoing operations, gave us a comprehensive look at its significance in American ranching history. The tour itself was well-organized, allowing ample time to explore key areas of the ranch while ensuring we absorbed every bit of information shared. The natural beauty of the ranch, coupled with its historical significance, made for a truly memorable day. If you're interested in history, agriculture, or just looking for an exceptional day out, I highly recommend the 6666 Ranch tour. It's an experience that not only entertains but educates, leaving you with a profound appreciation for the legacy of Burk Burnett and the enduring spirit of the 6666 Ranch.

The 6666 Ranch delivers on great steaks. I would recommend their prime and reserve tenderloin fillets to family and friends. They also offer a significant discount to veterans. That speaks volumes in my book for what sort of people are managing this ranch.

We came in late, but staff was really nice anyway. But this place ain’t about tourism, it’s really important for what they do. God bless all the people that do what they do at 6666. But cool place to check out however!

It was great stepping foot onto the 6666 Ranch! After visiting the Ranch, I headed over to the Supply Store (Gift Shop) where the sharpest young ladies helped me with a few family souvenirs. The people are simply wonderful!

If you want to learn about the history of cattle ranching in Texas, there’s no better place to go than the Four Sixes Ranch. Our tour guide was absolutely the best and her passion for the job and company was very evident. We enjoyed every minute of the hour and a half long tour. Looking forward to our next visit.

Awesome place with a lot of Texas history. Plus, Yellowstone was filmed at many locations on the ranch. Fun and educational.
