The Best Korean Barbecue in Atlanta - Eater Atlanta

"Diners know they’re in the right place when they see a sign with a guy giving the thumbs up while holding a platter of meat, right? Yes. And, 678 on Satellite Boulevard in Duluth takes its Korean barbecue seriously, using traditional charcoal grills to give the meats just the right touch of smoke. K-Pop, a bit of kitsch, and a sizable menu await folks here." - Eater Staff

We had all you can eat and it was all fantastic. The charcoal grill made it have a different flavor than the other places we have been and the ring of sides that cooked from the heat of the flame was so cool. The best part was probably the steamed egg. It collected the grease and flavor of the things that had cooked on the grill and was incredible, especially as an ending to the meal.

Three people went to have barbecue together. The waiter led us to a small cubicle. The meat began to smoke as soon as it was placed on the grill. Thick smoke billowed. Report the problem to the waiter. He said. The small fan broke down and it couldn't solve the problem, so we were in a state of smoke and fire all the way. Eating in the environment makes my eyes hurt from the smoke and I just want to throw up after eating. The price is $38.99 per person. Grilled meat for one person. It only includes chicken, pork, beef and squid. The meat quality is not very good. It's basically all pickled. Other cold noodles. All meals need to be ordered separately. The waiter said it was because there was a lot of water in the meat. It dripped into the charcoal fire below, thus causing thick smoke. The grilled meat doesn't taste very good. So I ordered three bowls of cold noodles separately. I've eaten. On the weekend, there weren't many tables of diners in the entire hall. I won't go there again next time. I don't want to talk. An additional 18% service charge was paid to the waiter.

This was my first experience of a true Korean BBQ. I enjoyed the concept but didn’t understand how it worked. Thankfully I was with a group that explained throughout the experience. The food was fine, but I much prefer all of the meat marinated or seasoned and most of the meat doesn’t come that way. Once I identified which meats did I was able to enjoy my meal.

Google
Did the AYCE and it was good! The grill is charcoal so it adds to the flavor of the meats. I would definitely recommend the seasoned pork neck, it was our favorite meat out of the choices! Unlike other kbbq places I’ve been to, the servers actually took the time to cook our meat for us and always made sure our corn cheese and egg were refilled. It is more on the expensive side, and there’s not many side dish options to choose from (like rice cakes that you would typically see) so it’s focused more on the meats.

Google
Food was very good..using wood charcoal was great .the service was great..our guy was great...if you go, talk to them enjoy it...food was very very good. It's not a big place and you may end up waiting a long time..but enjoyed it quite a bit. Definitely recommend it.

Google
Great service and good meat. Definitely leans on the more expensive side for the amount of meat you get (especially compared to all you can eat) but the service is definitely worth it. All the side dishes were set by the time we got there and the meat was always flipped on time. Overall, would recommend.

Food was great. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. They have a playroom for your little people to play in while you enjoy your lunch or dinner is A plus!

Google
678 Korean BBQ is easily one of the best Korean BBQ spots in and around Atlanta. Their short rib and galbi are standouts—well-seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavor. The kimchi is also excellent—better than most other places I’ve tried. The beef bulgogi is just good; it’s cooked in the kitchen rather than at the table, which may be a downside for some. They also have a small play area for kids, which is a great bonus for families. Overall, it’s a solid experience, and I’ll definitely be back.

Yelp
We had a wonderful meal this evening at 678. The food here has always been fresh and good. The quality of the meat is very good. AND they cook the meat over charcoal which makes such a difference. In the past the service was sometimes awful to the point that we quit eating here a couple years ago. We tried it again tonight and it was wonderful. We only waited about 10-15 minutes for a table. Our server was attentive and friendly. All of the servers watch each other's tables so they have you covered. Perhaps the management changed? Perhaps the waitstaff were all replaced? I have no idea but it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely return.

Yelp
We came to 678 on Friday evening around 6 pm, we did not have to wait for a table. We previously dined here and loved the potato salad side. We also love how this place uses charcoal to cook the meats. We ordered the combination B meal for 5 of us. It was a good amount of food. Although the meats were delicious, the noodle soup was mediocre.

Yelp
My recent visit to this Korean BBQ restaurant was far from enjoyable. From the moment we walked in, the guy who greeted us at the door was unfriendly and didn't seem interested in providing good customer service. No one explained the menu to us, and we were left to figure things out on our own. We ordered the meat combo (not the all-you-can-eat option), but the quality of the meat was really, really disappointing, especially considering how expensive it was. To make matters worse, no one explained how the BBQ worked at this particular restaurant, leaving us to guess how to properly cook the meat ourselves. One of the key aspects of Korean BBQ is the fresh lettuce and other leaves to wrap the meat, but we weren't even offered any. The lack of attention to detail and poor service made the experience frustrating and unsatisfying. For the high prices they charge, I expected much better service and food quality. Unfortunately, this visit was a letdown, and I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience.

Yelp
678 Korean BBQ is easily one of the best KBBQ spots I have been to. The meat quality is top-notch--fresh, well-marbled, and incredibly flavorful. You can do AYCE but we did à la carte instead. We ordered pork belly, brisket, and marinated short ribs, and everything was cooked to perfection for us by the staff, which made the experience even better. The banchan were really delicious and the steamed egg and cheesy corn were the perfect additions.

Yelp
definitely a little pricey for (to me) a limited menu but the charcoal makes up for it. I'd definitely come back. it isn't my go-to though. I still prefer a variety when going ayce E X P E R I E N C E we came on a mon , as a group of 2, around 12pm. the restaurant only had two tables occupied. we were immediately sat. F O O D ayce: incl brisket, pork neck, seasoned pork neck, pork skin, pork belly, spicy pork belly, soy chicken, spicy chicken not many options for me. basically just brisket. we tried brisket x8 pork belly x1 pork skin x1/2 (interesting texture.. very chewy, thick. almost gelatin like. tastes great with pork belly together in one bite) if you want galbi (which is a crowd fave), you'd have to order the combos or order it separately :( the charcoal makes the food taste 100x better than other kbbq places (making up for the lack of options included in the ayce menu). and I love the grill bc rhe oil from the fatty meats drips out so you still get that fatty texture from the meat but not an oily coated mouth absolutely love that all the pieces of meat are sliced to perfection. the brisket is extremely thin- not too thick so it's tough, not too thin so there's no resistance to the bite. the pork belly is the same way- thick enough that there's chew but not too thick that I'm chewing for 5 years the red bean sauce and the salt/sesame oil is delectable. eat the meat with the radish to cut the oiliness! S E A T I N G ample. great for large groups as well. private rooms available S E R V I C E meng was phenomenal. she was pretty quiet/seems a bit shy. she gave us space to just have our own conversation, which was nice. she was very observant; brought us refills of radish and cheesy corn, without us asking (we loved those side dishes especially). she is also a fantastic cook with great timing. the meat would have a nice crust/char (not burnt), but not be overcooked/undercooked. it would just be al dente! P R I C E 38.99 pp ayce + tip = 98.xx

Yelp
678 KBBQ is pretty spacious and clean inside. The service was fine, but it was also not super busy when I was there. My friend and I did AYCE and got the pork belly, pork skin, and beef brisket. The pork belly was really good, but I was kind of taken aback by the pork skin. I was expecting the pork skin to be like a crunchy pork rind once it was grilled, but it was still very fatty and almost gelatinous? I was not a big fan of that. I also know that a lot of people like charcoal grills at KBBQ because it makes the meat taste better, but when the beef brisket was being grilled, the amount of smoke that shot up was insane. I do not know if the fans were working at the time or if it was just super hot, but the beef brisket literally just tasted like charcoal when it was done being grilled. There was no flavor of beef at all, which kind of sucked. I will say that the side dishes, corn cheese, and steamed egg, which were unlimited, were SO good! I loved the steamed egg a lot; it was pretty basic but it had a savory taste at the same time which made it more delicious than other steamed eggs I have had.

Yelp
Came here because a friend likes it, partially hidden since it doesn't face Satellite Rd directly, but it's basically next to QT and Waffle House. They do an all you can eat, but we chose to go with the beef special that was $99. Really tasty, charcoal makes all the difference. Banchon was refilled as requested, but maybe 6 total. Meat was of quality and tenderness, and the service was excellent. All of the cooking was completed for us, which is always nice. Plenty of parking and other food options when you come here. Support small businesses!

Yelp
I have lost count how many times I have been here. But every time, I left very satisfied. The service and the food is just spectacular. The combo options here are my favorite as it includes some of my favorite cuts. This is one stable for good quality korean bbq you can count on if you are lost because of the many choices.

Yelp
Atmosphere: 678 Korean BBQ is a charcoal grill KBBQ spot with a relaxed vibe. There's a waiting area near the front of the restaurant and grills that stretch through the whole restaurant. Service: We waited for about an hour on a Sunday for dinner, which we were a bit surprised by. However, we were able to wait in their separate waiting area, which was still quite chilly in the winter, so be sure to bring a jacket that you wouldn't mind smelling like BBQ after! Food: We ordered all you can eat and tried their beef brisket, pork belly, spicy pork belly, and pork neck. They gave a good variety of banchan, and their side salads paired well with the meats. There were also some areas on the side of the grill for steamed egg, corn cheese, and kimchi to be cooked while your meat is getting grilled, which we thought was clever. The meats themselves were all fresh. Our favorite was the beef brisket, which was thin and had a balanced ratio of lean meat to fat. Overall: 678 KBBQ is a solid spot for AYCE in Atlanta. While the wait can be a little on the long side, the unique charcoal flavor of the grill and the variety of banchan made the wait worth it. A drawback might be that their beef selection and marinated options are rather limited for AYCE, but from the items we've tried, we would happily indulge in another visit.

Yelp
The food is smaller portions than before. The service is really bad, I said the prime rib is raw inside, and the server questioned me if I ever had steak? First thing is you need to respect others, and if there is someone doesn't like too raw, you could just ask instead of being really rude to question something like this. Even I complained to the front desk and he was saying either way all servers share the tips, behaved like he doesn't care at all. Overall, I used to like this place a lot but I don't think I will come back again. Atl has a lot of places for K-BBQ, this place is no longer worth to visit anymore.

Yelp
From what I understand, it's a long-standing restaurant. The servers were friendly and checked in often to ensure we didn't need anything. The quality of the meat was good, as were the side dishes and other items, but there are a few things I would like to point out. 1. the restrooms. The restrooms were overflowing the day we were there. A staff member was constantly sucking the water out with a mop basket. Our family hated getting that sewer water on our clothes and legs. 2. fans. The place we ate was at the corner in the backside. The fans look very old. The problem was that it could have blown out the smoke better. We had to eat in that smoke. I recommend closing this restaurant for a day or two for building maintenance and fixing some things; then it would be almost perfect.

Yelp
DULUTH, GA 30096 / KOREAN / 10-28-22 / DINNER +The meats were deliciously marinated and grilled on a charcoal grill. +The banchan (side dishes) were good. +The thinly-sliced brisket was excellent. +The cold buckwheat noodle dish was refreshing. +The staff was pretty attentive, taking real good care of us.

Yelp
Ordered combination S for 6 people. The portion felt both small and big (like eating a course meal where you feel like you didn't eat much but you are full by the end of the meal). Everyone was full by the end of the meal. Meat, corn cheese, and eggs were fine. Appreciated the help with the meat cooking from the staff. Many liked the hot spicy noodles at the end of the meal. Banchan/side dishes were good but wish there was more vegetable or refill was available (we ran out of it half way through). Btw rice doesn't come with the combo. Typical k bbq ambience. Fair public restroom.

Yelp
First and last time I will ever eat at this place. The staff is rude and they have very limited all you can eat meat options. It is very overpriced for what you get. The restaurant set up isn't very nice either, again, not worth the price. Food is decent but I would rather spend the same amount of money I did at other korean bbq spots

Yelp
Haven't been here in years and was craving charcoal kbbq so me and my date came on a Friday for lunch. There's no lunch special for kbbq but there's a lunch menu for other items. We had to pay the $38.99/person for ayce. The service was good but it was also not that busy. We didn't have to wait at all to be seated. The charcoal flavor was well infused into the beef brisket, that's the protein i tasted the grill the most. All the other meats we tried were decent but the brisket and chicken were my favs. The pork belly was also good. There are also a decent amount of sides they served. Also, the soybean paste dipping sauce was super good. Don't sleep on it.

Yelp
Stopped at 678 Korean BBQ for an impromptu dinner decision. The place was poppin' since it was Saturday. It was about a 45 minute wait before we got seated. Shortly after we ordered, all the fixins came out. Now, I've been to a few Korean spots in my life but never have I seen a spread like this! Pickled radish slices, seasoned greened onions, and lots more! I skipped the rice to save room for what was about to happen. Since this place was busy, and is probably the norm, the servers paid extra attention to ensure the food was prepared quickly and intentionally to ensure we were moving along in our meal, probably to get the table cleared for the other patrons. I can't get mad at that, especially since we never felt rushed. The food was top notch. No complaints. I was worried with us having three kids (5-12 years old) that they wouldn't eat, but they enjoyed all the food all the same. There was plenty of space and seating in the restaurant so we didn't feel crammed or crowded. All the TV's were playing K-pop to full effect and felt like we were in a club, if that makes or breaks it for you. If we were to come through the Greater Atlanta area again, we will definitely come through here.
google avatar

Yelp
Just tried this place during our trip to Atlanta! We arrived around 5pm which was a great time, the place wasn't busy at all and we got seated right away! We ordered the combination B (Beef) which includes: Seasoned Galbi, Beef Brisket, Seasoned Rib Finger, Rib Eye, Seasoned Cubed Steak, Prime Rib and at the end you get a bowl of hot pot noodles (choice of spicy or not spicy) my favorite meat was the Seasoned Rib Finger and the noodle soup! The unlimited ban chans were good too, the best was the cheese corn! Now, if you like doing the BBQ yourself, this would not be the place to go, the staff cooks for you! You just eat and don't have to do any cooking which was nice for a change from the typical Korean BBQ! They also has a room for the little ones to play before the food comes!

Yelp
First time here coming from Orlando fl to norcross/Duluth GA for food :) We go to Georgia for food reasons multiple times now. This is our first time at 678 korean. They had someone cook the meat for us the whole time. We ordered the bbq for 2 It came with a few options of meat. Overall, the meat was very well cooked by the server and the flavor is bomb

Yelp
It's been a while since I been here and I don't know what changed but nothing was really hitting today. 678 used to be one of my favorite place for Korean bbq. The service and atmosphere is the same but the food just wasn't it. My kids always looked forward to coming here for the cheese and corn but they said it was was to creamy. I'm guessing bc they only used cheddar cheese this time. It's was very creamy and mushy. The steam eggs were also very plain. I'm not sure if they switched owners or have a new chef in the back but I was a bit disappointed.

Yelp
Went in for one of their lunch specials on a weekday, went with spicy short rib soup. Plenty of meat and sides, do try a little of everything. Just a classic Korean BBQ joint.

Yelp
Was visiting Family in Duluth and went here for dinner, the meats were all extremely tasty and many didn't even require extra dipping sauce especially the Brisket and Pork Belly. Would definitely recommend trying this Korean BBQ

Yelp
You jave have understand what the plan is I order to leave happy here. Are you coming alone or with others but just want a plate of your favorite protein, rice and side items for yourself? Or are you coming with friends and plan on sharing with the group? The key, in my humble opinion, is knowing who you are with. Say you are slow eater but you have 3 friends who eat quite fast... your gonna lose out UNLESS you agree to just try and split everything (the meats) evenly. The individual plates will run you anywhere from 30 to 40 dollars while the LARGE group platters can run you anywhere from 90 to 200 dollars, depending on the size you get. All of their meats are delicious and theor staff is very helpful and friendly. The noodle soup you end with is more tnan plenty so make sure you leave a little room. Overall great experience, specially if you're with friends who enjoy all sorts of proteins and flavors.

Yelp
Charcoal based bbq. We did a la carte orders of seasoned galbi and seasoned short rib. The galbi was def much better. Side dishes were decent and they had both salad and green onion salad, as well as radish wraps. Service was great- our servers were pretty attentive though I did have a bad experience in the past here. Overall not a bad place for a La carte. They do also have a AYCE but the choices are more limited. Their sister restaurant KBBQ Factory for AYCE and has decent selection and pretty good galbi too.

Yelp
After frequenting the other KBBQ joints, we decided to revisit 678 ... and sadly this isn't a favorite anymore. They don't seem to have as many side dishes, the space overall doesn't feel as clean and lacks the fun energy (this may be due to age too), and the servers aren't as friendly. Interestingly the staff is a mix of different ethnicities (who also might need to be better trained b/c they couldn't answer some basic questions about the food). Otherwise the food was still good. Ordered the Beef Brisket $23.99 and Galbi $34.99. FYI "678" for the restaurant name adds up to 21 which is considered a lucky number.

Yelp
We've been here multiple times, and 678 used to be our safe, top-pick for KBBQ; however, after recently visiting here, it's just not as good. Keep in mind 3 stars isn't a bad rating, but it's not good either. It's average. Things you should know: I. PARKING The restaurant has a free, private parking lot out front. Easy. II. SERVICE Nothing out of the ordinary. You have to ask for more banchan, you have to ask for rice, and you have to ask for lettuce. Asking for lettuce was odd to me.. my Korean fiance complained about how he never has had to ask for 쌈 before at KBBQ. They didn't have cheese corn for our table this time and it seemed like there was less banchan. At the end of the meal, we're used to getting yakult, here ~ even a melona once. With this check? Nothing. III. QUALITY The quality of the meat and marinade is still great..! The quality of the banchan is also. IV. CAPACITY Fair amount of available seating for a Friday evening. You won't have to wait for a table.

Yelp
My family and I were in town and decided to check this place out. We came around 5:30PM on a Saturday night and were seated immediately. Everything looked good on the menu, and we decided to order the beef and pork combo (Combo S) to share between the 5 of us. It included: seasoned galbi, beef brisket, seasoned rib finger, rib eye, pork jowl, seared pork belly, seasoned pork neck, and hot pot noodle. It also came with unlimited side dishes, rice, steamed egg, corn cheese, spicy bean sprouts, cooked kimchi, and soybean paste stew. Needless to say the amount was plenty for us. The service was crazy fast, and the servers were the ones cooking the meat for us the entire time. There were 2-3 servers constantly coming back and forth to check on us and to cook everything. I've never had this kind of experience at a KBBQ place before, and it was a nice change! Everything was absolutely delicious, and our collective favorite was the seasoned galbi. It was so tender, juicy, and flavorful, and it just melts in your mouth. They gave a pretty good portion of this cut of meat, which I appreciated. The only downside of this place was that the room we were in got very smoky from all of the charcoal grills. The smoke did die down a bit over time. Other than that, this place is great!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a charcoal grill Korean bbq. They have AYCE but we decided to go with combo B, shrimp and pork belly. It was delicious and the quality of the meat was excellent! I can't wait to come back for more.
google avatar

Vanessa S.

Yelp
I had a great KBBQ experience at this place. They cook the meat in front of you so all you need to do is enjoy the food unlike other Korean spots that I have been to. I loved the smell of the BBQ and the charcoal grill enhanced the flavor. It is very different than the electric grill that we usually see at Korean BBQ restaurants. For the food, I really liked their side dishes or what they call banchan. The kimchi was so good as well as the dipping sauce which was the bean paste. The meat were all tender and well marinated. We decided to choose the group/family option for four. And we were so full at the end of the meal. I really recommend this place if you love KBBQ and I will definitely be going back to this place!

Yelp
Overall, good KBBQ. Seems like the quality has gone down a bit, the pork belly and beef brisket weren't as good as previous times here before. Beef brisket was very chewy at times and too much fat. Tonight's pork belly wasn't bad. Side dishes were pretty good, the kimchi had an old look to it and had a nice spicy taste. Also, ordered a large hot pot noodles which I haven't had in a while. The hot broth had a nice taste on a chilly night in Duluth. Staff were wearing masks and the couple of bottles of hand sanitizer at the counter.
google avatar

Yelp
Meat grilled over charcoal just hits different. A Korean BBQ that has charcoal grills is all but rare these days but there is a gem in Duluth that offers this. They are one of a chain of restaurants that offer top quality Korean barbecue and this one specifically has the uniqueness of being charcoal grilled. The beef rib meat was so tender and flavorful with a kiss of char on the edges that gives the meat beautiful flavor. I highly recommend this spot.

Samantha K.

Yelp
4.2/5 The quality of the meat is good for the price. I've tried a lot of the other Korean barbecue restaurants nearby and I think 678 is the best choice. I usually get one of the meat sets. Each set comes not only with a variety of meat but unlimited steamed egg, corn & cheese, kimchi, bean sprouts, side dishes, daenjjangjjigae and this bean paste dish. The end of the meal also comes with kkalguksoo which is a knife cut noodle dish that you can either get plain or spicy version. My favorite piece of meat is definitely the marinated galbi. Keep in mind that by the end of the meal you will wrench of Korean barbecue so either wear clothes you can immediately put into the wash or have fabric Febreeze ready to spray your clothes. They do not take reservations but you can call in advance to ask them how long the wait is. They don't take your name and put you on the waitlist over the phone. However, they have a whole waiting area section and I've never had to wait more than 30 minutes. To be honest the reason that the rating of the restaurant is lower than it should be is because I believe the manager is quite rude. I understand that this restaurant is very popular, especially for dinner over the weekend. However, I went on a Saturday night and the manager kept pushing us to leave the table and rushing us even though we were not done. It was very unprofessional and made the experience horrible in the end.

Yelp
This was my first time having charcoal fire korean bbq, and it did not disappoint! 678 uses charcoal to cook their meat, which adds a delicious smoky flavor. We did the AYCE option, which is currently $34.99 per person, and allows you to try most meats besides the galbi (short ribs), which was a bit disappointing. Our favorites were the pork neck, pork belly, and brisket but you really can't go wrong with any of the options! The banchan were all delicious and they give you a variety of different side dishes that you can pair with the meat. Of course the side egg, cheesy corn, and kimchi were delicious as well. The servers were super accommodating and quick. They also did most of the cooking, which made it super easy for us. Pro tip: ask for garlic to grill with the meat, it's a game changer. Parking was super easy in the parking lot. In terms of wait times, we only had to wait ~15 minutes on a Saturday night.

Yelp
Delicious food and great service! Four of us shared an order of Combination S (Beef & Pork - we definitely preferred beef over pork), and ordered more Seasoned Galbi because it so good! Honestly, we shouldn't have ordered the extra galbi - we ended up not eating the Hot Pot Noodle since we were so full from the food and alcohol. The hot plate was over coal instead of gas, adding a nice, charred dimension to the food. There were unlimited sides - we ate so much Cheese Corn!

Yelp
This is my go to KBBQ spot. Great selection of meats and sides. Traditional dipping sauces and stews. Service is always great and you don't have to order the all you can eat to leave feeling full. They aren't skimpy with the meat like other places. I also like that they use charcoal instead of gas for cooking.

Yelp
What a let down! Don't believe the hype. Pros - side dishes was set before our party arrived and drinks came out fast. Cons - 1. table is too small for a party of 6 adults 2 kids. 2.They bring out all the meat you ordered and leave it on the table taking up even more space that you don't have and it's disgusting eating right next to all the raw meat. 3. No side dishes was refilled unless asked. ( eggs was empty for at least 20mins ). 4. Service barely came to flip the meat, probably self serve? 5. Fire is weak and goes out too fast. Charcoal has to be replaced at least twice.. 6. Rice wasn't ready until we was 50% done with the meat. With all that being said, I'm sure people do have good experiences, it could've just been our luck. Regardless, it's our first and last time. Will be going back to my OG spot 9292 Update: do not use the bathroom here, disgusting

Yelp
This place is cute as far as the aesthetic. It's very pricey here if you want beef / shrimp options. Their cheapest is the one with not Much options

Yelp
I arrived on a busy Saturday around 6pm and was told it would be about a 30 minute wait for food. We were told to have a seat in a little waiting area but only waited about 5 minutes until our buzzer went off! We went with the all you can eat option. I was a little sad that galbi wasn't offered as ayce, but brisket is another go to. The staff served us our side dishes and got the grill going quickly. We barely waited for our food and they cooked it for us. I'm not sure if they always cook it for you, but I do prefer that I cook it myself. The brisket was tasty. I actually never order chicken when I go to AYCE since it is a cheaper meat, but my stepdad wanted to try it. It was really good! The chicken was still juicy with a lot of flavor even after it was on the grill. The only things I had a problem with was how fast paced the servers were. I've been to many Korean bbq places and I think this was the fastest I've ever had to eat. Possibly because it was busy? I also thought the bathroom was very rundown and needed a makeover. Other than that, food was great!

Yelp
I have not had charcoal fire korean bbq and this place was amazing!! We came in on a Friday around 2:00 PM and there was no wait. We selected the AYCE option, which is $34.99 per person. We started with the beef brisket, spicy pork belly, pork neck and the seasoned pork neck! The beef briskey is always a staple and the seasoned pork neck was marinated to perfection. I always love me some spicy pork belly as well. All options were great! At the end of the meal, we ordered some cold noodles! The broth was really yummy, noodles were a little chewy for me. I know this is how they are supposed to be and it's not for everyone. But overall super refreshing after a heavy meal of meat! The banchan was all amazing. I had not been to a kbbq place that served both fresh kimchi and more fermented kimchi! I could not get enough of the fresh kimchi, it was sooo delicious. There was also the soup, side egg, cheesy corn, potatoes, salad, radish and extra sauce. So many options! Service was great! Whenever we asked for more banchan, we received it fairly quickly. Probably because we were one of the only parties there though...but I would definitely come back if i were in the area.

Yelp
This is probably the best Korean BBQ in Georgia. I have tried most of the highly rated Korean bbq in the Atlanta area. You can't really go wrong, but this place truly stood out on a national level. Try the seasoned pork neck. It was the best pork I've ever had at a Korean BBQ place, and I have tried all the best Korean BBQ around the country (LA, NYC, SF, NJ, and Annandale). It was so good that I briefly thought I was eating some juicy beef. I would go back just for the pork neck! I also like that they used legit charcoal. Highly recommend!

Yelp
The service at 678 is nice in that the servers help cook the meat for you and are super attentive for refills. However, I wasn't the biggest fan of their banchan options and deliciousness of the food. It was a good not great meal and I'm happy we tried it, but likely wouldn't return. One nice plus side is they have a dedicate playroom for kids, which is a lifesaver for families!

Yelp
I just went there again last night and I have to give them another 5 stars. I have lost count of times that I come here, but every time deserves the best rating. Quality of food is always excellent, the service is top notch. The servers are attentive and help us cut/cook the meat.

Yelp
I'll keep this short and simple -- amazing! Food was great, attention to the customer was great, portions were great. Solid experience. If you are in the area, craving Korean BBQ, make this your stop. Another plus it is charcoal grilled --- very rare to find that!

Yelp
What an authentic Korean grill experience in Duluth! There were 3 of us on a Saturday rainy evening. We arrived shortly after 5:30 and was told it could be 30 mins wait. The restaurant had different booth tables but there was a pretty big waiting area.. that waiting customers can order drinks while waiting. Owner/manager did not have a happy face but he's very efficient, didn't offer me a pager, but said (again without a smile) that he remembered me and would call me. I must have a distinctive face. Lol... We were seated less than 20 mins. Service was pretty fast. Banchan can be refilled. We ordered a la cart instead of combination: beef brisket (highly recommend), seasoned galbi, shrimp and spicy pork belly. All were tasty but personal favorite was brisket and spicy pork belly (our party's favorite). We added hot soup noodle and it was equally tasty. Personally wished they would add a bit of fish cake to it. I would have given this place a five star but did not because I wish they can have better vent to suck the smoke. Love the charcoal grill BUT the 3 of us were literally walking bbq'd meat after eating our 90 mins dinner. And the business wanted to turn over your table as soon as you're done with meal. I'd be back next time in the area to try other grilled meats!

Yelp
Such a wonderful experience and plenty of food to share! Go with the family #2 so fulfilling! Favorite part was that the servers cooked for us!

Yelp
Wow I have been going here for ages but didn't realize I didn't review it yet! This place, along with 9292, is one of my favorite places for kbbq! I came on a Friday at 6 and we were promptly seated. As always, service is super fast and the waitress was nice and was refilling out side dishes as requested. The seasoned meat flavor is very good, and the meat quality is great as always. Over the years it has gotten more expensive - the combo for 2 was $75 without tax and tip but we were extremely full and the food quality was great.

Yelp
Had to wait an hour before our table due to how busy it was, but that wasn't terrible due to it actually being an exact hour when we were called that a table opened up. We ordered the beef short ribs and the seared pork belly (not pictured) and it was delicious! Our waitress cooked and cut our meat for us so we didn't have to deal with that part and could enjoy the food while it was being done (very fresh!). Only reason I'm giving 4/5 stars are for these reasons: - Was burned a couple of times when waitress was cooking the pork belly and this could've been avoided if she wasn't rushing - they cooked all the short ribs at once instead of mixing both the pork and the beef at the same time. Would've been nice to eat a variety of meats at once rather than at separate occasions - felt like we were being rushed due to the host walking by our table 6 times - bathrooms could use some cleaning - too smoky, they could clean out the filters and let the place air out for a day during the week

Yelp
Highly recommended!! Meat are marinated just excellent! Great service and professional cook skills. The background music is slightly loud but not intolerable. Overall, spectacular taste and service.

Yelp
A local KBBQ that's been in the area for years. While their ACYE is severely lacking beef options, we came in for a set. Purely food based review: Set B: Mostly pretty good meat all around! Everything we ate was pretty solid cuts, no real complaints about it. You get noodle hotpot at the end as well. You can definitely feed 4-5 ppl enough. However we had to constantly request to refill certain sides and drinks. Pork Belly ($25) - For a single extra order, it's pricey but the pieces were very juicy. I would get this if your group is still hungry
