I've heard great things about Chasu and I finally made it there! We went for an early dinner around 4 p.m. on a Saturday. The place was half full. The interior has a cool street food vibe, and it's half self-serve. You get utensils, water, plates, and the food delivery and cleanup is taken care of by the staff. There's plenty of seating.
We ordered and paid up front right when we came in, got a number, and were told to sit ourselves. The ordering area is a bit cramped, and it felt a bit rushed since it was our first time and we were expecting a sit-down-and-order style.
We ordered what felt like basically everything from their Hong Kong-style menu. The food came out pretty quickly, except for the baked pork chops, but it was totally worth the wait.
Needless to say, everything was delicious. We especially loved the Stir Fried Flat Noodle with Beef and the Fried Wings with Garlic Butter Sauce. The main points to note were that the meat was super tender, not too salty, and well-flavored.
In fact, I had such a great experience here that I ordered the flat noodles and wings again on DoorDash a week later!
