In summary, an ok hotel that could be so much better. The rooms are ok, nice views, fair size, could be cleaner, dust around the bottom of the furniture, crumpled tissue on the floor under the sink fixture (dropped a contact and had to get on the floor to search for it) The rooftop bar was full so we didn't get a chance to check it out, but the restaurant was nice, great view, food was good and the staff attentive and polite. We had an early flight so checked that we could take a bag of goodies from the breakfast buffet as we had paid for breakfast, and was told that would be ok, however when we tried to ask for it in the morning we were told we could only take one (mini) pastry each and one hot drink. We were a bit taken aback, tired and not quite awake so didn't want to argue but when we mentioned on checkout that we were a little surprised at the breakfast policy the receptionist said that we should have been allowed to choose what we wanted and offered to get another breakfast bag made up. Our taxi was waiting so had to decline but it highlighted a lack of staff training. Though all the staff were lovely, there was an overall feeling that the service was not quite up to the standard of a top hotel which is down to the management.
