Nestled in Irwin Street Market, D.B.A. Sandwich Company serves mouthwatering sandwiches, hearty soups, and fresh juices in a vibrant, retro space.
"While we can’t give them the crown for best sandwiches in all of Atlanta, we can agree The Best Sandwich Shop is pretty damn good. Sharing a building with The Wurst Beer Hall in O4W, this dining space has a retro feel thanks to a curved teal counter and old school orange chairs. Plus, their hot subs (the Manna packed with ground beef and dripping with comeback sauce) and cold subs (the fresh AF Sunset Blvd) take us back to the days when delis weren’t bashful with the meat servings. It’s action-packed from breakfast to lunch. Ponce residents swarm them for egg and cheddar sammies and fresh squeezed OJ from a self-operated juicer while remote workers pop in for a grab-and-go lunch. But when we have time we like to take advantage of the patio they share with the neighboring beer hall." - Juli Horsford
"A new sandwich shop from D.B.A. Barbecue opens in November at Irwin Street Market in the Old Fourth Ward. Called D.B.A. Sandwich Company, the shop takes over the former Academy Coffee kiosk at the market and will serve the Virginia-Highland barbecue restaurant’s most popular sandwiches, along with hearty soups, salads, and snacks." - Beth McKibben
