What’s Up With This Phinney Ridge Restaurant’s ‘Technical Difficulties’? - Eater Seattle

"Ada’s Restaurant and Bar in Phinney Ridge is closed temporarily for unspecified 'technical difficulties,' according to a sign on the front door from April 28, but the business hasn’t posted anything on social media for months nor responded to requests for comment. It’s not clear what the issue is, or when the restaurant might return. Ada’s opened in fall 2016 with a mix of American and Mediterranean influences, serving dishes like shrimp scampi, salmon cakes, Greek salads and flatbreads, and scallops multiple ways." - Adam H. Callaghan

We were in the city and wanted to try this place. Overall we were satisfied. Tripe soup was on spot. Mantı was pretty delicious. Donair and iskender was ok. Muhammara dip was pretty tasty. Baklava and rice pudding were 7.5/10 for us. Their Turkish wine selection is good. Overall we spent 209usd for 2 adults and 1 kid. We are not locals to Seattle so I can’t compare their prices to other restaurants around but we found it a bit overpriced for our taste buds vs bill. On the other hand ambiance and service was excellent. The chef came out of kitchen and paid a visit to tables. He was very personable and kind, paid special attention to our daughter and even served ice cream for her as a treat. We would go back again to try other dishes.

Ada’s is a wonderful spot! Tracy let us know about the excellent HH options at the bar when we arrived! As a result we toured the appetizers and they were all excellent! Plus who doesn’t love happy hour on a Sunday! The food was great, the setting is excellent, we’ll definitely be back, highly recommend you stop by if you get a chance!!

So much creativity, love, care and mind-blowing flavor in every dish. Fresh locally grown ingredients elevates the food here to another level. The service was amazing as well. The servers were so knowledgeable and genuinely wanted us to have a good time. Truly an experience. We haven’t been able to stop thinking about their mastic rice pudding since.

Google
High end Turkish restaurant in Phinny Ridge. The dining room and decor was well done, first class. Menu included many options for red or white meat, or vegetarian. I would recommend for special occasions or if you want to treat yourself or others to a very nice meal.

The food here is absolutely amazing! Loved the welcoming atmosphere and the decor gives it such a cool vibe. Thank you to our server Tracy for all the wonderful suggestions! We will definitely be back for more!

Enjoyed the Seattle Restaurant week menu. Asparagus Salad & Turkish soup were good. Branzino was ok - to many micro-greens on top, seemed like skin to meat ratio was off (too much skin) A lot of crisp broccoli and “scalloped” potatoes were just undercooked potatoes rounds. Grilled Kababs were all good, tenderloin had excellent flavor but two pieces were to tough and inedible. To much salad and unexpected grill pepper 🤢. The pita piece and yogurt were fantastic (could have had 3x more pita). Enjoyed the Turkish Pop (tasted like not to sweet flavored Sprite - orange, peach & pomegranate). The baklava was fine & the Turkish coffee was ok (hate how it’s not filtered/hate grounds) Service was excellent- chef stopped by our table at awkward time (with server) so really didn’t get to talk to. Restaurant was very cute and clean. Was very surprised how “loud” restaurant was. Very hard to hear people at my table & restaurant was overpacked nor were other guests “super loud talkers”. It was our 1st time having “Turkish” food but our favorite regional food is Mediterranean. Really enjoyed it - will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

Incredible food, even better people. I’ve eaten at a lot of Mediterranean places in Seattle, but this one hits different — truly authentic Turkish cuisine. The Adana kebab was perfectly seasoned, the rice was soft and buttery, and the rakı made it all feel like a sunny night in Istanbul. Service was top notch — Tracy and Allyson were super friendly and attentive, and Oumaima at the host stand made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. Huge respect to Chef Nurullah for the amazing food, and to Ayhan, the owner, whose passion for hospitality and quality is obvious in every detail — from the service to the plating. This isn’t just food — it’s a full cultural experience. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

Google
First time at Ada’s this Friday night. The atmosphere was so welcome and cozy. The staff was attentive and offered “must try” dishes to help us make sure we did not miss out on the menu. From the apps (insanely good shrimp diavolo) to the main meal (The Steel Plate), to the amazing desert (3puffs), it was the best dinner my wife and I have had in recent memory and we are travelers! Walking out, our first thought was, when our friends and family visit, we are taking them to Ada’s. We will be back!

Yelp
This was a fantastic dining experience in a long time. Excellent service, great ambience and amazing food. Every dish we ordered was a hit out of thenpark..wow.. Tiger prawns and dollar appetizer. Vegetarian ravioli, chicken kababs, doner kabab and potato gnocchi with chicken. Not a morsel waster or to take home...lol The baklava was insanely good and the profiteros (?) was good. Luckily found street parking near the restaurant. The restaurant is a nice sit down place and a bit more expensive than expected. I be back!

Yelp
Incredible Turkish spot - food was phenomenal. I highly recommend the Muhamarra dip and Turkish Manti - serving size for the Manti was great and was somehow even better as a leftovers the next day. We came here on Valentine's Day so service was a bit slow but that was to be expected on such a busy night. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Yelp
The SRW dinner menu is quite good. However, one disappointing aspect was that the eggplant dish, listed on the website, was not available onsite. The appetizers were phenomenal, and the main dishes were also good. For dessert, I would only choose the baklava if I knew how the puff tasted. I hope the puff is crispy outside and cold inside. The service exceeded expectations! All the staff were welcoming, accommodating, and very nice!

Yelp
My son is in Seattle on business so we drove out to meet him and decided to try Ada's for the first time last night and were not disappointed. We tried bunch of appetizer dishes, drinks and a couple of entrées. it was a great choice for all of us. The service and the people at Ada's were all super nice and professional. The amount of attention we got was perfect and every dish we ate was delicious. We will definitely dine at Ada's again. I highly recommend this place. Ada's is perfect for tapas style eating because their appetizer menu can't be beat. Next time though we are going to try the beet salad, the Ezogelin and the lobster bisque. This time we were waaay too filled up on appetizers. If you are on the fence about this place don't be, it will soon become one of your favorite spots.

Yelp
A few weeks back, I visited this place, and it's absolutely ideal for a date night, by the way. The service was flawless, but unfortunately, I found the food to be a bit underwhelming. Specifically, the chicken kabob had an unusual cook that didn't appeal to my taste. Perhaps I'll opt for something different when I go there again.

Yelp
A friend of ours read about this place and suggested we go for dinner. We started with the Muhammara and the dolmas. Both were quite tasty! For a main dish, I got the lamb meatballs, which I loved. My partner got the beef stuffed eggplant, one of our friends got the whole trout, and the other one got the branzino. Their dishes were all good, but they seemed underseasoned. For dessert, we got coffee, tea, and shared the poached pear, baklava, and rice pudding. Personally, I was a bit disappointed that the coffee didn't come out in the traditional Turkish pot, but that's minor. Anyway, the desserts. All three of them were quite tasty, but my clear favorite was the poached pear. The service was great. Our server even brought us a decanter for our wine (upon request). It's a nice space inside as well.

Yelp
This was my first time at Ada's. We went because are participating in Seattle restaurant week (3 courses for $50), we live close by, and we love trying unique cuisine. It wasn't overly busy for our 6:30 reservation, but maybe they were understaffed. In any case, we didn't have a great experience. We are both gluten free, and were told by our server that the chef is "very accommodating to allergies". We ordered from the limited price-fixed menu, the dolmas, lentil soup, sea bass and eggplant dish. When the appetizers came out, the soup had wheat crackers on the side. We waited for our server to come back before eating just in case the entire dish isn't gluten free, and sure enough, it isn't. Strike one. We both got the dolmas instead, since they were the only option. Though they were good, there were only 3 of them, and I would absolutely call them a small plate rather than an app. The lentil soup was a good portion, but unfortunately we couldn't eat it. Our main dishes arrived and were cold. People said the sea bass was excellent online, but ours was fishy and had many bones, making it an unenjoyable experience to eat. Strike 2.. They didn't have any gluten free options for dessert, so we were offered vanilla, chocolate or strawberry (likely Dreyers or some other icy brand), which we barely touched. Not a full strike 3, but definitely could have been better. TLDR: The whole experience lacked, and beware of Ada's if you have allergies.

Yelp
Ada's was so delicious. And the service was great. Food and drinks brought out promptly but didn't feel rushed out of there either. If you are thinking of stopping in, definitely do it! They have a small cocktail menu and the cocktails were so unique and fun! My partner and I got two different ones and they both were so good. For food, we started with the hummus and dolmas. The hummus was such a good consistency and had a light refreshing flavor (and we are picky hummus snobs). And don't get me started on the fried pita bread that came with the hummus. Oof I could eat three pounds worth of just that pita. The dolmas were delightful and had two sauces sauce drizzled over them that added a hint of lightness with the yogurt sauce and a little Bit of spice with the darker sauce. LOVELY. As for our main dish, the shish kebab plate was a hefty serving with flavorful meat, fresh tomatoes and warm pita bread. The flavors were perfectly balanced and even the salad on this plate had me wanting more. Lastly, the scallop dish. If you order one thing on this menu. It must be this. The scallops were cooked to perfection and the little cake they were served on was soooo good. I will be dreaming of these scallops for a while. Thanks Adas! We will be back.

Yelp
4 stars for the service, politeness of the servers, timeliness of the food. We got Muhammara - which was very very good Warm bread and butter- was very good too Minus 1 for almond ravioli , it was very dry and nothing special and chicken kebab- overcooked and no flavor.

Yelp
Got here for early dinner on the way back home from short vacation trip in Seattle. Turned on a pretty good experience. The jidori chicken especially tasty with flavors. A plus: Nice lady waiter.

Yelp
Cesar gave great service. Lamb shank special was superb. Intimate date night location. Delicious mock tail for my dry date

Yelp
My friends and I went to Ada's for Seattle restaurant week and I'm happy we did! Not only were the portions good, the food was delicious. I've been to Istanbul multiple times and the food seemed relatively authentic! I ordered the Sea Bass which was cooked perfectly, with crispy skin. I also tried my friend's Manti, which besides needing more yogurt, was also very tasty. Definitely recommend trying Ada's if you want some more authentic Turkish food

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience at Ada's. The food tasted great and the staff was kind too!

Yelp
We had a wonderful meal here. Everything was great and just a little bit different. We started with a puffed cheese pastry followed by beef skewers and finished with some baklava, profiteroles, and Turkish coffee. The food was delicious, the experience was great, and the staff was friendly. 10/10 we will be back. Maybe really 9.9/10 due to the silly flickering lamp.

Yelp
I read Yelp reviews and Ada's was touching 5 stars. I went there with high expectations and was not disappointed. Service was impeccable. I was a party of one for the evening. I had no reservation and they found a table for me. Never asked me to sit at a cocktail bar. I was valued as a customer. I couldn't decide on entrées, too many good choices. Server guided me to a traditional Turkish dish, Kofta Turkish style and a lobster bisque. Chef came to the table and served individual soup serving. It was spiced perfectly, very nuanced flavors. Have to say it was the best lobster bisque I've ever had. Not enough to get full on but this was about taste experience. The next entree was also brought out by the chef. This was also a taste experience. It was almost too much food. Although I was dining solo, this is a place to bring your friends, order various entrees and plan on sharing. You feel like you want to try everything. Nice atmosphere to just enjoy a cocktail as well. Service was professional and helpful for a first time guest. I plan on going back with my family. A must experience.

Yelp
What a wonderful restaurant experience! I loved everything about this unassuming treasure in quiet Phinney Ridge. We visited on the snowy long weekend and enjoyed the special pre-fixe menu. They made sure to call us after the reservation was made to inform us of the pre-fixe menu requirement - I thought this was good of them and also gave us a preview of what delicacies lay before us. I couldn't have been prepared for the beautiful space that welcomed us inside. I was impressed by how large the restaurant was. The entrance was not where I thought it would be nearest the 7-11. It is actually several doorways to the left. By keeping the entrance to one small doorway at the furthest point from the windy corner they do a good job of keeping the cold out of the restaurant. Good on them! We were seated at a cute table with a view of the snow and we were instantly transported to a cozy ski chalet far away. I enjoyed a French 75 before the first course was brought out. It was prepared with precision and set the stage for a lovely dining experience. The endive pulpo was a wonderful starter - fresh and uniquely presented - I loved this dish. The beet salad was a standout appetizer as well. I loved the two kinds of beets and their complementary flavors that went well with the balsamic drizzle. The lentil soup was also quite good, but probably did me in as lentils are quite filling. My only critique for this dish is that it could be enjoyed as an amuse bouche rather than an entire bowl in a multi-course meal. The sunflower? oil was a very good topper to an otherwise very good soup. I had the cod and my date had the filet mignon. The cod was the best cod I've ever had in recent memory, perhaps in my whole life! Fresh, prepared perfectly, and presented beautifully over homemade spaetzle - it left me completely speechless, floored. Wow. I instantly regretted finishing my bowl of soup as I had to leave behind perfectly delicious spaetzle as I wanted to have some room for dessert. The dessert was a chocolate covered long stemmed strawberry and a profiterole cream puff type pastry. This was probably my least favorite part of the meal but it was very fitting for the holiday weekend. Having just had several savory courses I think I would have preferred a traditional dondurma or mastic ice cream - in fact if they made this I guarantee I would be visiting them weekly! Everyone who works here was super nice and welcoming. The service here is also top notch - I look forward to returning very soon. Thanks to the sweet hostess and our server, DG for making our meal memorable!

Yelp
I have very mixed feelings about Ada. The atmosphere is really warm and comfortable and not noisy. The food is quite good and the portions are adequate. The service has been good and pretty prompt all the times we halve gone. The menu is rather limited and some dishes I would like to try aren't there.

Alex W.

Yelp
Ada's has wonderfully tasty and beautifully displayed food offerings in an intimate setting for a reasonable price. While the menu has many great unique options, there's also enough to please people who want more traditional flavors. I think this place would be a perfect choice for anyone who is looking for a nice dinner out, either for a special occasion or just a regular dinner.

Dee K.

Yelp
Great selection of food for the various palates of our group. Service was excellent and Salih was such a gentleman in greeting and seating us. We brought one of the top pickleball pros with us from a local event on 7/28/23 and having what tasted so authentic and homemade while traveling was just amazing. The chef was a gem of a person and we so appreciated the attention to detail, ambience and great food!
google avatar

Yelp
This place was delightful! We were seated by a gracious hostess, our server was poetic in his description of the dishes, and the chef stopped by personally to ask how everything was. On top of that phenomenal hospitality, the food was succulent! Juicy kebab as long as your arm, savory dumplings, and the dip and borek were perfect starters.
google avatar

Jill-ann P.

Yelp
Well...wow. This was perfect. The menu is upscale, the service is impeccable. Some classics (Shepard's salad) and some new. Absolutely loved every bite! The goat cheese and pistachio was to die for. As was the red pepper and walnut! The Köfte was just like mom's if mom was Turkish. The whole trout was perfection. Get the Cankaya white wine.

Yelp
Came here for the first time this evening. Food was great and the staff were super friendly. We had the muhamarra dip, Burratta, beet salad, kabobs, risotto, egg plant......all were super tasty.

Yelp
Looking for a last minute available place for Saturday dinner and was really glad to find Ada. The service was very friendly, we had an outdoor seating, the indoor dining space looks cozy. We had kebab, trout, prawn and calamari for the mains and starters. The prawn dish was the best out of all but everything else is also great. Would definitely come back agai
google avatar

Yelp
Crazy that the owner would claim that I ordered wrong when I can see exactly what I ordered on my app (photos attached clearly indicated it was manti with beef on it) Additionally, they have no vegan manti on the ubereats menu so that's two lies to mislead possible customers right there. Again, really disappointing.

Yelp
Oh my!!! Wonderful! Superb! The food was so good we hardly talked we enjoyed it so much. We went on Valentines day. We were not rushed. They did a great job giving you a rose and the decorations on the table were romantic. The team went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. This is a wonderful date night spot!!! You must try!!!! They even called us to let us know about the fixed menue. It was a great experience all around!

Yelp
I thought I knew what Turkish food was. Then Ada's introduced me to this wonderful fare I had not seen before. I was just pleasantly surprised to see so many vegetarian-friendly options, and I was even happier when everything came out tasting delicious. The saksuka was a phenomenal starter. It was the star on the night and we'll be getting it again when we return. The almond ricotta ravioli was swimming in richness, though it could have done with a bit more mint to even things out. My partner's shih kebab was a sight to behold and well-spiced with great yogurt, pita, and veg. The dessert pastry was a little over done for our liking, though the wine and Turkish tea kept us quite happy. The food was quite good, though the service was really a 5 star experience. We couldn't have asked for a more helpful, attentive server. Even in the middle of Saturday evening service, he took the time to help us feel welcome and explain what Turkish tea was. I can't wait to return and see what else Ada's has in store.

Yelp
It was my first time having Turkish-Italian blend cuisine. We ordered Carpaccio, Ada's Fish of the Day, and Ada's Signature Tenderloin Spideini for our dinner. Carpaccio is a dish of raw beef thinly sliced with toasted bread on the side. Personally, it was too salty for me but overall good flavor. My partner's dish Ada's Signature Tenderloin Spiedini was a bit overcooked that the meat was hard to chew and dry. The served the whole trout for Fish of the Day that it was my first time seeing a whole fish served. I really like the fish and it taste good with the Lemon-Saffron Beurre Blanc, but wish it will be lightly seasoned with salt. Overall, the fish was fried really well with light crisp texture on the outside and soft, tender meat inside; would recommend ordering this dish!

Yelp
How have we never been to Ada's before?? We made a reservation online and 45 mins later we were sitting down. This is a North Seattle gem, hands down. It is an upscale (for Seattle) dining hall but they way we were dressed, they didn't hold it against us. Well maybe...? We were seated at the booth in the back corner nearest the kitchen. We definitely were not dressed to impress--- next time! Our server Dogu (pronounced "dough") was excellent. Informative, friendly, made recommendations without being overbearing. He really made the meal better with his recommendations. We chose everything he suggested: lobster bisque (TO DIE FOR), stuffed eggplant (Karini Yarik), Turkish Shepherd Salad, and Sac Kavurma served in a personal size metal bowl. I had two French 75's and my date had Turkish Coffee. Dogu never rushed us and encouraged us to take our time and enjoy our meal. After a year of COVID that was easy! The staff and patrons all had their masks on and social distancing with the tables were practiced. We live in the area and are so glad to have discovered this lovely spot. Don't hesitate to check it out!!

Yelp
What a wonderful find! A cute little place that serves outstanding food! The blackberry mojito was perfectly mixed. We started with the burrata and it was amazing. the beet salad came with balsamic, a bit of greens and some pickled onion. I have to say the fillet tenderloin was the best I can remember having, ever. Tender and cooked perfectly, it literally melted in the mouth. If we lived closer this would be my go to for a date night restaurant. Everything was beautifully plates and the service was fantastic. Great place!

Mark H.

Yelp
We had a group of 20 with a last minute booking and WOW did they do a wonderful job taking are of us. I gave the owner freedom to serve us what ever he wanted and boy was the food awsome. We had two great servers that were on top of very thing. Thanks Ayhan for making our after baptism party a big success!

Sara S.

Yelp
The worst possible service EVER. Horrible horrible service. Super slow, they even forget to bring you WATER. The waiter didn't know the menu. I asked for a piece of bread, they forgot to bring it. Food was Ok. Not something special or wow. Food was cold, salty and LATE. Don't waste your money and time.
google avatar

Sre G.

Yelp
Restaurant was really great! We had a reservation and had a group of around 13 people, which they were able to accommodate well! They had a back room available for us. The food was delicious, I had the grilled Kate and I highly recommend it.

Yelp
Another birthday celebration and wanted to check out Adas. So glad we did, it's just too bad we were the only table all night on a Sunday night. Everything we ordered was superb! Since we were the only table we had excellent service, and the scoop on the owner and his background. Please Phinney Ridge neighborhood and anyone else reading this review- go try and support this restaurant out! We ordered burrata and heirloom tomato, tuna tartare with taro chips, stuffed eggplant, and roasted duck appetizer. All so fresh and amazing! Definitely try the tuna! I let the server decide on which dessert to bring me- the tiramisu, or the baklava made with pistachio??? He brings me both and one is for my birthday!!! Thank you for a wonderful birthday celebration and wishing you many years of success!

Josh O.

Yelp
What a great find in. Seattle! We had a party of 6, and shared most of the appetizers, they were amazing. The lamb chops, scallops, and family style meat plate were all amazing. The chef/owner stopped by the table multiple times. We will be coming back for the scallops and to try the rest of the menu. The poached pear was such a surprise and the rest of the desserts we shared were great, good cocktails, great Turkish coffee.......our table of 6 all agreed that we can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.
google avatar

Ashwin B.

Yelp
We had the muhammara, the almond ravioli and the imam bayildi, all absolutely delicious and well made, would definitely visit again to try more dishes. The dishes were light and home style, packed with a lot of Mediterranean flavor.

Peggy M.

Yelp
Excellent food and great service!!! We heard about this restaurant and drove from Vancouver/Surrey Canada to try it. Definitely 5 star all around.
google avatar

David F.

Yelp
This place is a sleeper. It was surprisingly empty on a Friday night. The service was excellent. The server/bartender was quite knowledgable and helpful. We started with a tuna tartar appetizer. It was well-plated and tasty with taro root chips. I had Copper River king salmon with buerre blanc sauce. At $30, it was a steal! I would have wished for more than two spears of asparagus to go with it, but the salmon was buttery soft and delicious. My wife had a ground meat stuffed eggplant. It had some Middle Eastern spices and was also tasty. We'd come back for more.
google avatar

Lina R.

Yelp
So.good. We got the lamb and kofte as mains and the eggplant as an app. Everything was perfectly seasoned. Great place for date night. The cocktails were also really good-- recommend the blackberry mojito and Kentucky mule!
google avatar

Samuel B.

Yelp
Came here last Sunday with my family and girlfriend -- WOW. Chef Ayhan is a genius! Honestly, I have never really tried Turkish food, so this was a delightful discovery. We ordered as many different dishes as we could because it all looked delicious -- and we were not disappointed. Our favorites were the Turkish soup, Karni-Yarik (stuffed eggplant) and the Almond Ricotta Ravioli. The Turkish soup was absolutely perfect. Maybe the best soup (not cooked by my mother) that I've ever had. Our server and our bartender also treated us so well! Ada's is amazing. Chef Ayhan, Thank you!!!
google avatar

Viv M.

Yelp
This establishment is in the old space of the Santa Fe Cafe near Woodland Park Zoo. I recognized it right away. It advertises as "fine dining". It has all the elements - dim lighting (a little too dim), decent background music, good service, lovely plate presentation, & the price point put it at $$$. While we enjoyed our meals, they didn't quite live up to fine dining expectations. Unfortunately we both left the restaurant with the opinion that it was "fine", but didn't expect to return. Perhaps if they presented themselves differently with a more moderate price point, we would have been pleasantly surprised and try them again.
google avatar

Melissa B.

Yelp
Absolutely love Ada's, third time in 3 months and I always leave so happy. Everything is so amazingly delicious, made with only the best and freshest ingredients. And you can tell it's all done with so much Turkish pride and extra love! Can't wait to come back soon with more friends so I can try every single dish on the menu! I was only able to take a couple pictures before we gobbled it all up! You must leave space for the baklava, so extraordinary!!
google avatar

Josh G.

Yelp
We came here with a party of six. Everyone ordered something different, and everyone cleaned their plates. The food was delicious from the appetizers through the entree. People were reluctant to share their food! Don't miss the baklava for desert, it was otherwordly. Service was top notch and the chef/owner came out to chat. The place was pretty empty on a Thursday night. People of Phinney Ridge, go to Ada's! It would be a shame if a restaurant of this quality had to close down.
google avatar

Pallav M.

Yelp
Not as good as the reviews seem to suggest. I suppose it's good Middle Eastern food 'for Seattle' but nothing particularly memorable. I liked my sheesh kebab but it was pretty expensive tbh for what's street food elsewhere in the world. Muhammara was mediocre.

Yelp
I rarely give a place 5 stars. My bar for that last final star, is if I could/would recommend and come back myself without hesitation. Service, Food and Flavors. They hit the mark across the board. This is a concern... To be honest.. I am hesitant that if too many people like this place, it will be hard to get in, but I'm writing this review anyway... Let's start with the food and flavors. The menu is unabashedly Turkish inspired, including the mysterious and tasty Mastic Rice Pudding, to the magical and flavorful "saksuka" vegetable, it's delicious. Our standards were moderately high, a cousin was visiting from Canada, and her basic needs included Vegetarian. This means we need good food is not always easy. I'm always keeping an eye out for menus that offer a variety for all types of eating preferences, and Ada's looked promising, so here is where our night stared. So before the Mastic Rice Pudding, and after the magical Saksuka, was our entrees. My wife had the delicious and savory Kofte balls, I had the Sis Kobob, and the cousin had Porcini Risotto, Let me explain, the food presentation was on point, because alone these items don't sound all that special, but what came out pleased the eyes (and the other senses). My cousin noted how smooth the rice was, and the mushroom flavour which stood out. She loved it. My wife enjoyed her meat balls, they were seasoned perfectly, tender, and as he said, really good. Mine was presented on a large metal spit, delicious meat on a stick. It was super tender, like a peach... a tender, sweet, meat peach. The knife sliced it as if it was warmed butter, with the juices that I wanted to lick off the plate. So the food was good. What about the service? Our server really took care of us, she was attentive, service orientated, our water was always full, drinks refilled, and even came out with the small things, like an extra side of yogurt, after my wife mentioned how awesome it would have been to have a little yogurt for her meat, and kazaa, it was there. It's like she knew what we wanted, and it was there. So really, it's perfect. I love living just a few minutes from this neighborhood gem. We felt welcomed, from the moment we walked in, and it really did feel like being at home with a family member that wanted to show us what great hospitality is. I hate to share this with the world, but if you are looking for a great meal, this restaurant should be on your list.

Yelp
We spent 5 days in Seattle and had many great meals- but this was our favorite. The service was above and beyond and every thing we tried was delicious. The goat cheese with pistachio appetizer was really tasty. Highly recommend!

Yelp
All around amazing service and food!! My new local hang out- literally the best! Prawn appetizer was delish and looks spicy but just has amazing flavors. Each of our entrees were not only delicious but a beautiful presentation upon arrival. Can not stress enough how good the service was.

Yelp
Wow! This was a pleasant surprise right down the street from us. It's a very sweet, romantic environment, the food was delicious, and the service was great. My husband and I share the olive tapendae which is really good, and I got the vegan almond ricotta ravioli and my husband had the trout. The vegan ravioli was definitely one of the best vegan entrées I've had in a long time. Major thank you to the chefs who created it!

Yelp
My partner and I found this gem while traveling and I am so so glad that we chose to eat here for his birthday. We ordered the 12 oz. prime rib and the king salmon. The salmon was so well grilled and super juicy. The steak was NEXT LEVEL-- I highly recommend getting it. Drinks were also very great and balanced. The profiterole had to be the best dessert I ever had. The choux was flaky and light. The chocolate glaze and choux cream were incredible. I would definitely eat here again when I come back to Seattle.

Yelp
I would have given 10/5 stars if there was a choice ;) Me and my wife celebrated our first anniversary here. We are strict vegetarians and don't eat eggs. it is hard to find italian food made without eggs but this restaurant has lot of vegetarian and vegan options. The service was excellent. They had decorated our table since we had mentioned them that we are going to celebrate our anniversary. I never had a baklava so crisp and delicious. Finally, I know a fine dining European restaurant with multiple vegan options. I am definitely visiting this place again!!!
