After a long day of moving, we wanted something quick, easy and greasy. So what better than some pizza?! After a little bit of searching, we settled on Adriatico's.
Let's start with parking. There are multiple metered spots up and down both Neil Ave and 10th Ave. There is also a (small) lot with 4-5 spaces directly adjacent to the restaurant, but these are reserved for take-out.
Immediately upon entering the restaurant, there is a hostess stand and a separate ordering counter for to-go orders. We were greeted promptly and told it would be a 15-20 minute wait, which was not surprising as we went during prime dinner time on a Friday night. The inside is a bit smaller than expected, and the bar tops are currently closed off and instead replaced with tables running perpendicular to the bar. We requested first available and were eventually sat at a table outside, of which there are three total 4-tops on a small patio.
Our server was friendly and helped answer questions we had regarding the menu. The have a good number of options, including appetizers, pizzas, "zonis" (there version of calzones), pasta and sub sandwiches. We ended up going with a large pizza of half chicken pesto (no tomatoes) and half BBQ chicken. The large has 8 slices, but we requested to have them cut in half to give us a total of 16 (makes it seem like more pizza even though it isn't)!
After about 15 minutes, our pizza arrived and it looked just as good as it tasted! The side of ranch was also delicious. And, we had plenty to take home as leftovers. Upon leaving, we got a to-go order of salted caramel gelato which we devoured on the way home. All in all, we had a great experience. Although the inside seems small, they're pretty efficient. The service was good and the food was excellent. Highly recommended!
