"OSU students rarely go a month without a bite of pizza from Adriatico’s at a class event, party, or the Oval. The restaurant has something for all kinds of pizza lovers, with various crusts ranging from thin to thick. Gather a crew and order the massive Buckeye pie, an impressive 18-by-24-inch, thick-crust, rectangular pizza cut in squares. Every cheese pull is worthy of a social media feed." - Angela Lee

Google
Great pizza. It is smaller than I expected but the location is still very nice. I could only find 30 minute parking that was a little inconvenient.

Google
First time coming here before the hockey game and wow! Place was clean and our server Norah, was super friendly and helpful. I picked the hot honey pepperoni pizza and it was some of the best pizza I've ever had. Great location and excellent food.

Carrie Wolford

Google
Really good pizza, I would like to go back to try their gelato. Very friendly staff.

A. Santos

Google
Fun spot for great pizza. Good food and friendly service. You can have your meal and watch the delivery bots roll by outside.

Ed Bidle

Google
Great food, great atmosphere! The BBQ chicken pizza is a really good choice! Would definitely come back again!

Google
You can’t go wrong with Adriatico’s. Thick crust is the way to go! The new patio is inviting and gelato is a great treat to grab on your way out. We’ve been coming here for years and the service is consistently good. They get busy quick, so leave plenty of time for your evening.

Google
We were able to visit Adriatico's for a late lunch on a recent trip to the OSU campus with our daughter. It was a weekday and a little late for a lunch crowd, so it wasn't very busy. Fried pickles and a large "Inflation Fighter" specialty pizza were both great. I am generally not a pizza crust fan--but, I ate all of my crust at Adriatico's. The thick crust was perfect and the pizza was loaded with toppings. The fried pickles were great too. We have eaten here a few times and service is always kind of laid-back and slow, so I would definitely order an appetizer or two and plan to relax and hang out for a while. It is one of my daughter's favorite pizza places and we will definitely return.

Google
Called in a to-go order (7/24), and they said 30 minutes. I got there in time, and pizzas were ready. All of the pizzas we got were so good. It's probably the best pizza I've had all year. From the crust to the cheese and everything in-between was tasty. Both thick and thin were good, so I can't say which is better, just both, lol . If you are looking for good pizza, this is your place. They also have a couple of parking spots in the back if you're doing pick-up.

Rob P.

Yelp
My favorite pizza in Columbus Ohio! Best sauce and thick Sicilian crust, also sausage is great

Lauren H.

Yelp
The food is amazing and the ambiance is also fantastic. They have gelato, it is very good. The buckeye bites are out of this world!! My favorite pizza place! The ladies that work there are also very kind

Rick C.

Yelp
I did like Adricatico's! The service was great as was the food. My only recommendation would be to put the TV's on something friendly and not on political based news channels.

Christina D.

Yelp
I know people love their pizza - I do not. It's ok, and I usually get it for free so I will never complain, but it wouldn't be my first choice in town or even near campus. They do make decent salads - they're simple and definitely need the dressing, but they taste fresh and are a good alternative if you're not feeling the carbs and cheese sometimes.

Elise F.

Yelp
My parents are both OSU alum, so they always insist on paying Adriatico's a visit when they're on campus. Good thing the pizza is delicious! My college caters Adriatico's for almost every event because it's so convenient. My friends and I also enjoy ordering it to the library for late night study sessions. Adriatico's recently remodeled their inside dining area, and I love seeing so much buckeye pride when I walk in there! Not a ton of seating inside, but we got lucky finding a table. When the weather is nice, they also have a few tables outside. Service was quick!

Tyler F.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to get pizza in my area! Huge slices, great taste, excellent atmosphere and always outstanding service! Highly recommend!

Christopher C.

Yelp
Food was good. Service was average. Wait time was about 20 minutes, which was okay considering we went on Saturday when there was a home OSU game. Prices were not crazy. Also tried the breadsticks, which were good with the cheese sauce

Tushar G.

Yelp
One of the best pizza places in Columbus. It is very close to the OSU campus and their pizza is really good. The service is also very good, they are quick in taking orders and getting you the drinks and food. They don't take reservations in advance so it might take you a little bit of time sometimes to get a table but it is worth the wait.

Anonymous D.

Yelp
Pizzas are huge and the menu is decent. Price is okay. My favorite part had to be the gelato though.

Bryan L.

Yelp
Best pizza in Columbus!! I love this pizza and I get it every time I am down around campus it's been nice working at the OSU power plant project I've been having it for lunch at least once a week

Jay S.

Yelp
Great pizza and great service, a must try in Columbus! We have never had a bad experience here. The food is always delicious!

Yelp
Serving The Ohio State University since 1986 Adriatico's can safely be called an institution, and although the location has moved from 11th Avenue since Freshman Year the spot at 1618 Neil Avenue continues to make a great Pie at fair prices that generate big lines. Officially Adriatico's New York Style Pizza, owner Greg Fortney in charge since purchasing the business from its Cincinnati inventor in 1985, returning guests will find substantially more seating plus Wings, Draft Beer and Appetizers plus a number of TVs showing sports daily. Easily ordered by phone, thirty minute's wait just prior to a game at Ohio Stadium perfect for those walking in from free parking, pick-up was simple with Sauce still blistering and each mouthful of thick-crust, Cheese and oversized Pepp a reminder of when Adriatico's was the best Pizza this writer had ever tasted. Not recalling Buckeye Bites from two decades prior, essentially fried Pretzels using Malt to make them look like OSU's iconic mascot, Desserts come in the form of Cookies or Brownies with the former soft and chewy around sizable Chocolate Chunks.

Hannah P.

Yelp
Came to Adriaticos after the Buckeye Country Superfest and had a really good experience. It was late night and the servers were so nice! Food came out really fast too. Love Adriatico's!

Susan H.

Yelp
Absolutely a miss-leading online menu price wise . I asked for a large pizza(supreme style) and was bill d for a deep dish hand tossed pizza $40.!! Ouch! $5 for xtra chShame on me for not confirming pricing --- that sauce was sweet& bitter at the same time - yuck! -- I did order 5 baby chicken wings small & slick -- . It's a NO for me -- and if you want value and well prepared food --- find an alternative pizza place --- what the heck -- college kids eat any darn thing

Hay S.

Yelp
Great, cozy and friendly atmosphere! a friendly smile was at the door to greet us with an amazing scent of pizza embracing our nostrils. Pizza was pricey but definetly well worth it ! They did move but stayed in Columbus and have a little more dine in area. Still same great smelling atmosphere and tasting pizza! Love the new look of the new location as well.

Jenny N.

Yelp
We had a great experience here in October. We ordered ahead and ate on the patio. Our server was very nice and the food was delicious. We had a chicken bacon ranch pizza, fried pickle appetizer, and a sausage, pepperoni, and banana pepper pizza. All were excellent.

Michelle O.

Yelp
They had a location in Kent, Ohio when I was in college. We thought it was really good. It is good still. This location is at the heart of OSU. Parking can be a challenge. There is a lot by the back of the store front but you can't park there. A guy kicked us out when trying to park. Came close to not coming in cuz that totally angered me. He was rude about it. Really rude. Despite that we parked and went in. Ordered a salad to split and medium supreme pizza. All good. Delicious! Lots of toppings. Close to what I remember. Prices are average. Busy location because the school is right there. They have gelato too. Didn't try but looked good. I'd go back. Decent pizza and good place to hang out.

Madison R.

Yelp
Although the food was amazing, the service was even better. Our waitress was Carla (with a C!) and she was amazing. She was super helpful and very on top of her job. She's the sweetest waitress you will ever meet. We hope to see her again

Adam G.

Yelp
After a long day of moving, we wanted something quick, easy and greasy. So what better than some pizza?! After a little bit of searching, we settled on Adriatico's. Let's start with parking. There are multiple metered spots up and down both Neil Ave and 10th Ave. There is also a (small) lot with 4-5 spaces directly adjacent to the restaurant, but these are reserved for take-out. Immediately upon entering the restaurant, there is a hostess stand and a separate ordering counter for to-go orders. We were greeted promptly and told it would be a 15-20 minute wait, which was not surprising as we went during prime dinner time on a Friday night. The inside is a bit smaller than expected, and the bar tops are currently closed off and instead replaced with tables running perpendicular to the bar. We requested first available and were eventually sat at a table outside, of which there are three total 4-tops on a small patio. Our server was friendly and helped answer questions we had regarding the menu. The have a good number of options, including appetizers, pizzas, "zonis" (there version of calzones), pasta and sub sandwiches. We ended up going with a large pizza of half chicken pesto (no tomatoes) and half BBQ chicken. The large has 8 slices, but we requested to have them cut in half to give us a total of 16 (makes it seem like more pizza even though it isn't)! After about 15 minutes, our pizza arrived and it looked just as good as it tasted! The side of ranch was also delicious. And, we had plenty to take home as leftovers. Upon leaving, we got a to-go order of salted caramel gelato which we devoured on the way home. All in all, we had a great experience. Although the inside seems small, they're pretty efficient. The service was good and the food was excellent. Highly recommended!

Courtney B.

Yelp
The food is absolutely amazing! I crave Adriatico's throughout the week and make it a weekly stop. You have to get the breadsticks. I usually do the Parmesan breadsticks with garlic butter and oh my goodness you will not be disappointed. I usually go for the Antipasta salad for lunch and it's one of my top favorites of anywhere. The staff is super friendly and I can order a pickup and take it back to lunch. I cant say enough great things! Just trust me and go. Must stop!

Cole B.

Yelp
Crust was great!! Toppings and sauce are quality. I got the Sicilian crust and it did not disappoint. Sauce is sweet but robust.

Michael N.

Yelp
I know this is a Cbus favorite, and I can appreciate that. My reason for the 4-star rating, as opposed to a 5-star, is because I'm from New York, and I take my new York-style pizza as seriously as a heart attack. Don't get me wrong; this place has some good pizza! I've been going to Adriatico's since they were at their old location, which was much smaller and narrower. It was also very brightly lit. I've had the honor of breaking bread here with quite a few friends and business clients as we gazed at the neutral-painted dry walls. I love the more updated brick motif of the new location. You can gather with your college buddies and family or bring a date. I've been in the evening time for the most part when it's low-lit and pretty busy To-go wise. Service-wise, this place is excellent. I've always sat immediately and have experienced impeccably attentive. Food-wise, the pizza is pretty good. I love the bountiful amount of fresh toppings that they place on your pizza here. The crust is always thick and chewy with a nice crunch. The sauce is my favorite type of acidic and savory; you can taste the freshness of it and can taste the herbs. My favorite go-to for toppings here is pepperoni with light sausage.

Apryl D.

Yelp
Pizza was mediocre. Hot Wings tasted like vinegar. Tossed salad was tasteless simply iced lettuce & yellow peppers.

Macie P.

Yelp
Enjoyed my meal at Adriatico's last night. Here's what we got: I got the Supremo pizza: sausage, pepperoni, onions, peppers, mushrooms. The personal pizza size was big enough for me to still have a piece to take home with me My fiancé got the Build your own Zoni: pepperoni, pineapple, banana peppers. His favorite part about the Zoni is the sauce. The sauce has a nice spice level that sets it apart from other pizza sauces We split the Fried Pickles. I really liked that these weren't overly greasy and had dill in the breading! The one downside is that they do not take reservations. We went on a Friday at 6:30 and had a 40 minute wait, which is understandable. If you plan to go on a weekend, I would recommend trying to avoid the dinner rush!

Love G.

Yelp
I had one look and immediately fell in love before tasting this delicious delight. This pizza is so good i look forward to purchasing more.

Matthew H.

Yelp
First, let me say that the staff here are great... very nice, friendly, super helpful. The restaurant itself is cute, quaint, nice. The pizza SMELLS good. All that is why I gave it two stars. I'd give the actual pizza none. I really thought I'd like it, especially after I got the pizza in the car and could smell it. It smells delicious. It tastes less- than- delicious, sadly. It's basically a pretty good frozen pizza that we paid $30 for. Sadness.

Alan C.

Yelp
Just like I remembered from the 1980's! Got the thick Sicilian style pizza that came with one large pepperoni per slice. Brought back all the great memories of eating pizza on the OSU campus when I was a student there.

Vic P.

Yelp
Thick crust pizza was AWESOME! Crispy, not too dough-y, enough sauce and the right amiu t of toppings! Definitely measured up to the hype!

Briana S.

Yelp
Adriatico's has great menu options. It's an Ohio State staple. Their sausage pizza is amazing. There is the perfect amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings on their thick pizzas. Their garlic cheesy bread is good too. I highly recommend Adriatico's especially if you're a pizza lover!

Robert S.

Yelp
At OSU for a quick visit and lunch. Most places in the area had a long wait but Adriatico's had a table. Really excellent service and the pizzas were outstanding. Veggie, a buffalo chicken and a meatball calzone were delicious and plenty to take home for later!

Mary B.

Yelp
Picking up a pizza pie across town is worth the drive for Adriaticos! I attended OSU tor undergrad and walked to this spot many times for lunch and dinner. They don't have a parking lot and on Campus of OSU. Hit a parking garage on 10th ave and walk over or pull up front and idle park to run in and grab your order, in hopes you preordered it. Highly recommended since they are always busy. They don't just serve pizza even tho this is what I wanted this evening. They have hand tossed or the NY style crust and a deep dish Sicilian style. A large hand tossed has 8 slices and perfect for 3 or 4 people. They have a buckeye size using deep dish style (aka extra large) that is cut into 30 slices great for 10-12 people along with other sizing options to fit your appetite or group size. My favorite about this pizza is the pepperoni and sauce. The pepperoni is large cuts of the salami and thin so when you bite it the whole thing doesn't slide off in your month. Goes well with the sauce that is sweet and smooth and pairs well with any toppings you throw on it - that is either fresh vegetables or other meats. I promise it would not disappoint.

Yelp
My husband and I used to go on dates to the 11th Ave location to listen to Ken Durr perform live while we were dating. This was our first visit to their new location on Neil Ave. There is a small parking lot behind the building and ample metered spots out front and along 10th. The new space was bright and clean with the Neil Ave wall full of windows. They even have a small patio with 2 tables along Neil. Their crust is made with garlic but without is an option. Get the garlic. Crust options include thin, hand tossed (regular) and Sicilian (thick). Sizes range from 8" personal to Buckeye. 18"x 26" (huge!) The Scilian crust is slightly buttery with that wonderful garlic flavor. Their toppings are large so each slice of pizza only had 2 pepperoni or 2 tomato yet I had sone topping with every bite. I like to cut off the crust then dip them in sauce to eat. The side of pizza sauce was spicy with a zip I didn't notice on the pie. I'm excited to return with our son to introduce him to this campus institution where his parents used to hang out when they were undergrads living in Siebert Hall. Thanks for bringing back the memories of good times. Can you get Ken Durr lined up to perform again?

J. D.

Yelp
Needed lots of pizza for the superbowl and they were recommended by a longtime resident of Columbus. Placed a pick-up order a few days out for their super-sized pie and a couple dozen wings. The food was ready when they said it would be and was very tasty. Ususally mega-sized pizzas are bland but this one was the right kind of flavorfull and delicious all the way through, a real crowd pleaser. I would order again for a party and I also want to go in and give their dine in experience, with all of the gelatos a try.

Julia J.

Yelp
Some of the best Sicilian pizza I've ever had! I highly recommend the pepperoni, delicious.

Christina H.

Yelp
I have only gotten take out from here, so I can't speak much on the internal environment, but the service over the phone was great. The time estimate on was accurate. I was not impressed previously with their pizza, but that was most likely due to my East Coast Pizza bias. I did enjoy the Zonis and recommend the garlic butter sauce. Quick, comfort food that is easy to access from the OSU campus and medical center.

Adam C.

Yelp
Unfortunately, my past two experiences at Adriatico's have been subpar. My table ordered a pizza with regular hand-tossed crust and we were served a thin-crust pizza. We pointed this out to the waitress and she shrugged, saying "it's the regular thin-crust," which was a downright lie (they have 3 crust options). The second time I stopped by for lunch and ordered a calzone (called a "zoni"). The place was empty, but they had a steady stream of phone orders. This meant that my waitress couldn't enter my order into the POS system so the kitchen couldn't get started. It took 20 minutes to enter the order and another 25 for the zoni to be done. After 35 minutes of waiting, she came by and asked "how was the zoni?" and I told her I hadn't received it yet. She came back from the kitchen, but with the wrong zoni. I'm not sure if she was bringing me someone else's order or if my order got entered incorrectly, but suffice to say I won't be back, as the only offer they provided me was to wait another 25 minutes for the correct order to be done.

Dilara C.

Yelp
When my husband told me he ordered "The Buckeye" I seriously thought he was joking. How in the world would our family of four (two adults and two kids) possibly eat a pizza that was 2 feet by 3 feet long?!? I will tell you how. With our mouths. First slice; I inhaled it while standing over the pizza box. Second slice; that made it on top of my plate, but was devoured on my way from the kitchen counter to the dining room table (which is about ten steps). Third slice; I ate that at the dining room table. I felt very full at that point, so I had a fourth slice to ensure slices 1-3 got washed down. Slice five I had as we were cleaning up dinner. Slice six I ate after the kids went to bed. (I started thinking about dinner and my mouth was watering for more pizza so I needed the pizza to soak up the saliva.) Slices seven and eight were consumed cold for breakfast the following morning. (If you eat leftover pizza for breakfast and warm it up, people will call the cops on you. Trust me. ) Slice nine was warmed and eaten for brunch. Slice ten was eaten cold as a lunch appetizer the following day. My husband ate more pizza than me if you could possibly imagine that. The kids each had like one slice each. Here's the thing: even after going on a 24-hour pizza bender and eating nothing but a 3-foot long cheese pizza I STILL WANTED MORE. Adriatico's has amazing, crave worthy pizza that will not bore you. You'll never get sick of it. It never gets old. That thick chewy Sicilian crust with the perfect smear of sauce (not too sweet) and a reasonable amount of cheese (I hate when pizza is over-cheesed) will make you come back for more and more and more. And it will make you realize that a 2x3 party sized pizza is a perfectly reasonable serving size for your family.

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Friendly service and great food. Atmosphere is fun and inviting. Wings were flavorful and pizza was tasty.

Jay S.

Yelp
Much like everyone, we loved the old Adriatico's vibe. But THE Ohio State University tore that building down... much to everyone's dismay. That being said, the new place is still quite awesome. The pizza here is always tasty. The spicy sausage topping is a family favorite. The fried pickles with ranch are a go-to. And our waitress, she was freaking fantastic. Only reason for the 4 stars, is because the cheese and bacon covered fries just weren't that special. Go Bucks!

K W.

Yelp
Always enjoy their Supremo Sicilian Thick Pizza & assorted Gelato. Always pleasant staff.

Jim M.

Yelp
We stopped here after recommendations from another OSU parent and former student. The large pizza, breadsticks & salad were pretty good. My wife didn't care for her mini pizza. The service was a little slow. They had a few tables outside so that was nice option. I will definitely stop by again as our son's dorm is right next door.

Anna L.

Yelp
The best pizza in Columbus! Personally recommend the thick personal pies! Very filling and reasonably priced.

Angel B.

Yelp
Awesome pizza! They have 3 types to choose from. Thin. Hand tossed. Deep dish. I love their sauce!

Gwen W.

Yelp
I ordered for pick-up because I didn't know what the parking situation would be like, their new location still being in the heart of OSU campus. Sunday afternoon, didn't have to worry about meters, but a heads-up that parking on Neil tends to be crowded on the weekends (in general). I went with a personal size, sausage, mushroom and green pepper, I was told it'd be ready in 30 minutes. I walked in 20 minutes later, and it had just been boxed, hot and ready to go. The inside space is nice. More darker tones - gray-black leather booths, darker wood paneling, and the ubiquitous scarlet on the walls. I saw three TVs (I was expecting more screens, surprised). The pizza was good. The crust's thickness reminded me of Pizza Hut. Sausage is not "cut" into thin circles (yay!). Actually, all the toppings were large chunks; let's me know I'm getting what I paid for. Their sauce isn't zesty, but not sweet. I found it somewhere in between. Was I floored by the fantasticness of this pizza? Not necessarily. But it was a solid pizza, and I'm glad I got to satisfy my wonder. If I lived closer to Adriatico's I'm sure I'd stop by more often.

Lauren C.

Yelp
super yummy. the breakfast pizza is life changing and so good. the other pizzas r also good. the crust is the best part. very cute interior with great service!

Craig R.

Yelp
Popped in for a quick dinner on New Years Eve, and was greeted by a very friendly staff. We both had Italian subs with tots. The food was hot and better than your average chain food.

Laura L.

Yelp
Adriatico's Pizza is clean with COVID precautions in place. We had fast, friendly service and delicious food. The pizza was probably some of the best I've had in Columbus!

Bob K.

Yelp
We drove in from Granville to give the place a try. It was highly recommended by the locals. We had the wings, a pizza and an Italian sub. The wings were a mix of dry rub Buffalo and hot Buffalo. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they came out hot and crispy, and NOT the big bloated, steroid filled that you see at other restaurants. They were the best I've ever had. The pizza was also fantastic as it was clear that only the best ingredients are used here. Finally the sub was perfectly seasoned, served on the freshest roll you could get. Overall I'd give this place an 11 out of 10. If you want to make your experience even better, ask for Lauren. She's the best and quite a cutie.

Melissa S.

Yelp
Ok...super-duper pleasant staff answered that telephone to take my delivery order to a local hotel. She worked me through the menu, as I have not visited this place before. I ordered a Sicilian pizza, "the tomato"-minus the onions, add sausage, the spring rolls, and the antipasto salad. Not only did they provide me with the food that I ordered, It was fast and friendly, over the top expectations, The very best care made for me in accommodations as a local hotel guest including paper plates and a stack full of napkins, with menus and my sauce cups were wrapped in tinfoil so they wouldn't spill all over the place... That is brilliant! Thank you so much for taking such good care of me on my first meal while visiting Columbus, Ohio.

Dani H.

Yelp
Adriatico's truly never disappoints! From their unique & delicious pizza to their tasty appetizers to their flawless pasta, you can't go wrong. Last night, I had the spaghetti w/ veggie sauce, garlic bread, and 3 meatballs ($0.50 extra per meatball). It was AMAZING! The sauce was so tasty, especially on top of the garlic bread. I also encourage you to try the garlic sauce, it is to die for. My friend, Abby, tried the lasagna and she says it is amazing as well! Located right next to campus, Adriatico's is the perfect stop for OSU students. Adriatico's has plenty of seating for the family to enjoy as well.
