Ah Chun Shandong Dumpling

The shop may not look appealing despite the Michelin sign outside the shop. I tried it because it was close to my hotel. The food taste quite good especially the spicy and sour soup noodles. The pork dumplings were a bit too oily for me but they were cooked fresh when ordered. The staff is so nice and care of customers even though they spoke different languages. I recommend you to try it once.

This is a local small Dumpling restaurant. It was a Sunday Lunch and after the CNY break so not many people were around. The Dumpling is handmade to order and not pre-made like most dumpling shops. I ordered the "Mixed Lamb Soup" which is quite a strong flavour. “Green Onion and Mutton Cake" was very crispy and had loads of flavour and juice in it. For the Dumpling I tried the 2 most famous 1s which are:- “10 Qingdao Cuttlefish” Dumpling which was well seasoned and full of juices inside. “8 Mackerel Fish” Dumpling with soup which I had never seen before. This 1 also was very well seasoned and full of juices inside. The only thing that could be better is the filling in both dumplings could be a bit solid and not break apart so easily. The staff are friendly and nice. For a Michelin restaurant,t it is good for the money and a cheap eat. Worth a try. All the food did not have MSG which I hate and Uncle Roger loves which he will not like this restaurant lol!! Just Joking.

The place has a super small entrance so be careful not to loop it out. The cook/waitress made her best to suggest their best selling food items the dumplings and the pancakes with soy milk even without speaking English while pointing out on the menu. Excellent suggestions. Kudos for her. The food was perfect and don't hesitate to ask for garlic to add to your vinigare sauce. Perfect blend. Excellent food and the price was cheap. Well done

Staying at metro park hotel and chanced upon this little shop. Food is fantastic. They have english menu. Above all, service is very nice and patient (unlike most of HK shops elsewhere)

The taste of the dishes says why this restaurant has been there on Michelin guide for 8 years (2013-2020). No wait time and long queues. Service on point and the dumplings 🥟 were exquisite. Diner for 3 pax with 4 dishes and 2 cold 🍺 was only ~200$.

never judge a book by its cover. this dingy looking place is clean on the inside and serves very very tasty food. food is made fresh and cooked on the spot. excellent dumplings and Shandong meat dishes. affordable, tasty and clean. my favourite place to sit down for a good meal every time I go to kowloon. this is a must try.

Amazing Michelin Guide recommended place best known for their handmade dumplings (they make it as soon as you place your order!). The condiments that come with the dumplings (soy sauce, vinegar, minced garlic, chili sauce) are also authentic and definitely not store-bought. Their lamb dishes are a must-have - especially the lamb noodles. Simple, light, quality food for a very very reasonable price. The more authentic place if you want this kind of food will be China but this is the next best thing. 100% will recommend to friends and family. The menu is all in Chinese so I would recommend bringing a Chinese speaking friend.

Michelin restaurant for many years. The style is local dumpling restaurant, but very good service, good taste, good price. Fried dumpling is definetely the highlight. This is like 小籠包, very juicy. 酸辣湯 is also good, enouh spicy, sour, but mild. Fried dishes also tasty. Many visitor enjoy different dishes, so I think every dish there is delicious. I will come back.

extremely good northern china dumplings. Cannot imagine such a restaurant in hongkong. strong recommend for lamb dumplings

Sooo incredibly average. You would think it'd be amazing considering the Michelin star and how busy they are with local patrons. We came in and ordered the pan fried dumplings, scallion pancakes, and cold cucumbers. I was watching one of the ladies roll the dough and it seemed impressive at first with the way it's all made from scratch, but when we got our order we felt like the flavor and the contents were kind of lacking. The dumplings leave a strange aftertaste in your mouth, in addition to just being a tad salty for our liking. I think I've had better frozen dumplings from the market. The scallion pancakes (Chong you bang/bing) was horrible. I think I counted three small slices of scallion in the entire order, and it was mostly just grease and dough. Bad texture, seemed stale. So disappointing. Cold cucumbers were fine. Garlic and soy mixture was nice, though nothing to write home about. I had high hopes for a place that supposedly prides itself on the Shandong style of dumpling making, but sadly this was a real letdown and not worth the trouble to make a special trip for unless maybe you're within five blocks of here.

Ahh... dumplings, a nice change of scenery (or taste) from the typical dim sum and cafeteria diet we college students are used to. Ah Chun Shandong Dumpling has some pretty tasty dumplings and Northern Chinese food for a decent price. I liked the cabbage and lamb dumplings a lot - the lamb dumplings don't taste gamey, which is nice! I'd also recommend the 肉餡餅, or meat pies. They're small yet packed with flavor, and are a great addition to your meal. 中文版：這家餐館的餃子不錯，我最喜歡的兩個是白菜餃子和羊肉餃子。你可以點鍋貼或水餃，由你選擇。他們肉餡餅也挺好吃，非常值得推薦。

Supposedly good northern Chinese food is served here but I have had better. I came here one day with my Northern Chinese friend, and she did not think this had good northern Chinese food at all. She kept commenting on how it's not as good as it is back home. Yikes. I, on the other hand, did enjoy their homemade, pan-fried dumplings. Those were especially delicious. I would come here again just for those dumplings! Don't get them steamed. The pan-fried method is the way to go. However, the other items on the menu that I tried were just mediocre, hence the two star ranking. Sadly, I don't think I'll be coming back here again anytime soon.

The dumplings & salad are good but if you get it go go the salad is less than what they actually give to dine in & this is more of a appetizer even with the dumplings I was still hungry after
