"Al Biernat’s has been serving Dallas steak steak steak steak steak for 25 years, which speaks loudly. It’s one of the few open for brunch, lunch, and dinner. It’s got multiple cuts of steak even more seafood options, and is also one of the few with a vegan section of the menu. And it may just have the most extensive list of sides in the city’s steakhouse oeuvre. In North Dallas and Oak Lawn, there’s something for everyone at this chophouse." - Courtney E. "Most of the steakhouses seem sequestered to Uptown, with a few sprinkled elsewhere. The go-to steak spot for North Dallas is unquestionably Al Biernat’s, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. Those looking for a fancy night out in this part of town are well-advised to make a reservation." - Courtney E. Smith, Rachel Pinn

This was my first visit, and I can’t wait to return! The food and service were truly 5-star. Our waiter, Justice, was fantastic—be sure to ask for him! We enjoyed the filet and prime rib, both cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the calamari and pear salad. Manager James ensures everything runs smoothly and regularly engages with customers. This restaurant and its staff are a must-visit!

Our first time visiting this restaurant. Our server Justin was wonderful and always anticipated everything that we needed. Thank you for making my friend’s birthday special. The food was delicious. Loved both the raw and broiled oysters.

One of our favorite places in Dallas! While DDW has a lot of restaurants, it’s definitely quantity over quality. We’ve had a lot more bad meals than good, but that’s never the case at Al Biernat’s! Every single thing we’ve had here is amazing. My husband ordered breakfast last weekend, and I tried his bacon. It felt like the first time I’ve had real bacon in a decade, lol! My go to meal is the shrimp and mango ceviche. A must! Their mojitos are fabulous (thanks, Griff), and their bread basket is a must. Also highly recommend the raw oysters. We love to finish with double espressos and tiramisu. All of their desserts are fantastic, and you can’t go wrong no matter which one you choose. Make sure to say hi to the manager, Marty, when you’re there. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, something that’s definitely lacking at other establishments. Highly, highly recommend Al Biernat’s!

I ate at the bar and was greeted promptly and politely by the bartender. Food was delicious, I had the tomahawk steak and brussel sprouts. Followed up by the pecan pie. Steak was cooked exactly how I wanted. The pecan pie was the best I've had!

I enjoyed every dish we ordered. Wonderful fine dining establishment that is worth the visit.

Google
This is a five-star restaurant. I would highly recommend making a reservation if you want to eat here. Also, there's valet parking. The atmosphere, food, and the service are all top-notch at the Al Biernat's North! Nothing is left unturned here. I had a wonderful experience and the fantastic food. Very friendly staff and they're over the top with their service. They pay attention to all your needs during your meal.

Google
The service is incredible the food was good for the price I was expecting a bit better. It was a Sunday so that might have had something to do with it. The desserts and drinks are well presented and delicious

My wife and I celebrated our 5-year anniversary at this extraordinary restaurant on September 14, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Our waiter, Trevor, was exceptional—his attentiveness and warmth made our evening truly special. The food was nothing short of spectacular, each dish crafted to perfection. The thoughtful addition of roses added a lovely, personal touch that made the night even more memorable. We can't wait to return for future anniversaries or special occasions. Thank you for making our celebration so remarkable.

Yelp
What a lovely afternoon - late lunch and early dinner. The food was fabulous, the atmosphere was exceptional, and the service, impeccable. Griff was more than amazing. Best steak I've had in a long time. Not to be missed while in Dallas.

Yelp
Wow what an exceptional meal with exceptional service. You really get what you pay for at this renowned Dallas establishment. We went for Restaurant Week so we had the benefit of a fixed menu... the menu is huge and everything sounds wonderful so it's got to be hard to decide. I had the southwest salad to start. I picked it for the avocado toast accompaniment. It was good but I think I would have enjoyed the wedge better. I then had a perfect medium rare tenderloin steak with creamed corn and creamed spinach. For dessert I had the cheesecake and chocolate avocado truffles. The truffles are so decadent and one hundred percent memorable. The cheesecake was also super fluffy and delicious. Prices are high here so be sure to check out their menu in advance and plan acco

Yelp
The food was absolutely great! The seafood chowder was creamy and delicious. I could have made a meal of it. Filet Mignon was seasoned well and tender. Sides included mac & cheese, mash potatoes. A corn dish that I wanted more of. And much more. Very attentive servers in a nice steakhouse ambiance made a perfect dinner. Will be back.

Yelp
God. There's a thin line btwn love & dislike. It's unfortunate bc my last visit to Al B's was bordering dislike. I really love their martinis. I mean reallyyyy love their martinis. I disliked my lobster. I ordered a regular, plain lobster tail, no frills. Just a lemon on the side. It came out so fishy tasting, I couldn't do it. I had to send it back. Luckily, I was able to send it back and they removed it off the bill. It was a busy night, & being tucked into a cramped corner behind a party of at least 12- Our waiter definitely had his hands full. But did I mention I love their martinis?

Michelle I.

Yelp
The service and dining experience was great. The food was good but do think there are better steakhouses for the money. Waygu carpaccio: good but needed more capers or additional acid. Lobster bisque and crab corn chowder was good. Would get the bisque over the ceab corn chowder. The chowder was thicker than I would like. The bread basket was cold and stale. My husband got the filet mignon with blue cheese and I got the filet with lobster thermidor . The Lobster was the star of the show. It was so good, I would come back for that. The sides and dessert were good but nothing special imo.

Yelp
12/27/2017 Finally made it to the new location on the fringe of Addison. Great crowd at the bar - some of the most well-coiffed, bejewelled and surgically enhanced people in North Dallas for sure. I mean this in a good way I promise. Funny - we could easily see the girl sitting next to us at the bar going through all of her Tinder swipe requests. Over and over and over again. I know - it became a morbid fixation for us - just like a car wreck on the side of the road. We couldn't look away ; ) Bartenders were on-point, just wish they had a better beer list. Went off the beef path and tried the Osso Bucco. It was real good, just not stellar. Should have stuck to the steaks damnit - my own fault. For the two of us - 2 glasses of wine, 1 beer, 1 vodka, 1 small filet, 1 osso bucco, 2 salads = $238.00. This seemed a bit higher than Bob's or Chamberlains to me. There are a lot of renovations to pay for here obviously, but - hey, where else are you going to see this much "bar candy" in North Dallas? Where else are you going to find bartenders this good and this traditional? Where else are you going to find somebody like Al? This is a great addition to the North Dallas/Addison dining scene as well as the see and be seen.

Yelp
Expensive, but such good food. Service by Gabriel was perfect. He is such a professional and makes you feel so welcome. We had requested a booth on open table and got a nice one. Started with Jalisco Old Fashion and my wife loved it. The oysters Rockefeller were excellent. The shrimp cocktail was fine, but a bit disappointing as not as firm shrimp as usual. The Scallops and Prime Rib were both perfectly prepared and delicious. The green beans, skillet potatoes, and sauteed spinach were so good. The beans and spinach are a finesse cook and can easily be overcooked, but these were both perfect. No choice for dessert for us but the coconut cream pie - delicious as always.

Yelp
Came to celebrate my MIL's bday. It was defo a kii! Food was banging. Drinks slanging! Enjoyed the piccata! Service was immaculate. Manager came out and greeted the table. The crab cakes were delicious! Fantastic choice for brunch!

Rachael M.

Yelp
We always have the best time at Al Biernat's! The Chilean sea bass is always amazing. They had an Aspen Lychee martini on their seasonal cocktail menu that was delicious. Jeff was our server and he did a fantastic job. James, the manager, made sure we were taken care of. Of course we had to finish with the coconut cream pie for dessert.

Jay H.

Yelp
This place is just on another level. I've never met Al but when I do, i might get a neck tattoo with his signature. The staff being led by James is making the greatest memories. They care about the experience that you are having while you're there. Ahmed led us perfectly with his on point suggestions. He was gracious the entire time we were there under his care. While he was away, Pardon was part of the glue that made this an amazing birthday experience for my bride. I had the special and it was a piece of Wagyu that was cooked medium rare!! My wife had a wagyu steak and it was amazing. I set the appointment on open table and everything worked out perfectly. We had a great table to enjoy the ambiance of the night I felt like a lead role in a Martin Scorsese film. They made me feel like I was special. Thank you for an amazing night.

Yelp
We came on a Saturday night, around 5pm, and they were able to seat us right away. The restaurant got busy pretty quickly but the service was great throughout our meal. Our waitress knew the menu very well and recommended some great dishes for us. The steak dishes - prime cowboy ribeye and wagyu angus NY strip - and crab cakes were our favorite. The prime cowboy ribeye medium with a little char was recommended by our waitress and was cooked and seasoned well. The portions are a lot bigger than we expected, we ordered a meal for each person in my family along with appetizers but we could've definitely ordered 2 less. My parents loved it and we would definitely come again!

Yelp
Best chicken piccata I've ever had and pear salad was also delish. Best service with Marco. Perfect

Yelp
I visited Al Biernats north this Valentine's Day for the first time. I've heard a lot about it and had some pretty high expectations. Typical nice steakhouse vibes inside, nothing spectacular about the decoration or anything. We started off with the beef Wellington bites, which were super good. The puff pastry was perfectly crispy and the meat inside was tender and delicious. The peppercorn sauce on the side was a great addition. I also ordered a grapefruit martini, which I would certainly recommend. For dinner, I got the 12oz filet mignon and my girlfriend got the osso bucco. My filet was delicious, a tiny bit under as I ordered medium rare but very close so no issues from me, after all it was a very thick steak. I got the black truffle butter topping as well which I didn't find to add much. All elements of the osso bucco were very good, with tender meat, delicious sauce, and very tasty risotto. For dessert we got tiramisu which was also great. I will say the service was a bit... awkward at times. When we first got there it took super long to get waters, then another very long time to order drinks and food. The waiter also kept making those jokes where you ask for something and he sarcastically says no, which I get he was just trying to be funny but he did it like 3 times and it got a little awkward lol. He was very nice just a little rough around the edges maybe. Overall, it was a good experience, but nothing spectacular. It's worth a try and the food is definitely good but I'm not sure that I'd return here on any sort of regular basis.

Yelp
Went for dinner from service to food everything is good.felt ambience is bit noisy for a Fine-Dine in Rib eye Sea bass Shrimp appetizers (blackend and battered) And some mix platter which i didnt remember the name tasted excellent Good variety of wine selections even their desserts tasted great esp the chocolate fudge cake/something

Yelp
I LUV Al Biernat's! Today was the perfect example of what lunch is suppose to be about. Food was wonderful. I had the Corn Crab Soup , my friend had the Tuscan Soup of the day. They both hit the spot. My friend had the Chicken Piccata , looked scrumptious. I had the Steakhouse salad, one of my favorites. And we had Sorbet for dessert, to top off the great meal. And a big thank you to Trevor for making us feel so at home. He's a terrific Server. A must try!

Yelp
I've been chowing at the Al Biernat's on Oak Lawn for nearly 25 years and many dozens of times. It's safe to say that the joint is on my heavy rotation list of places to go for a nicer meal in Dallas. I was tardy on making a reservation for a Saturday night and noticed that the North location had some prime time open reservations. Since I had never been there and was curious how the north location compared to Oak Lawn, I grabbed the reservation. (Now, I must admit, I seldom go north of LBJ Freeway for dining since the old homestead is firmly south. Besides, I'm too lazy to drive to new locales in unfamiliar territory these days.) I'm happy to report that we were promptly seated upon arrival, even though the place was packed. While Al Biernat's on Oak Lawn during prime times can often feel like a "see and be seen" joint and full of Park Cities money, the north location had a much different vibe. A good share of the tables had kiddos, which was a bit surprising given it being a white tablecloth eatery, the higher price tags, and our later reservation time. Our waiter didn't miss a beat and was promptly at our table. And I didn't get the feeling of being rushed. We started out with a dozen oysters which, I've got to be honest, were some of the worst oysters I've had in years. These babies were tiny and the oyster meat was sliverous gelatin. Quite frankly, I would have been embarrassed to serve up these micro members of the oyster family. (But...since I've had really good oysters at the Oak Lawn location many times, I'm giving them a pass on this one. But don't do it again.) Since I'm really not a red meat carnivore, I had to think long and hard about ordering a steak. But hey, it had been close to a year since my last excursion into a hunk of meat, so I went for a medium rare 8 ounce filet mignon with a couple sides. The steak was perfectly cooked and satisfied my mild urge to dine on a steak. (And despite the small size, I still managed to save a piece for the hounds at home.) And the sides of mushrooms and potatoes were what one would expect at a higher end steak joint. Would I go back? Nah...but that is only because I'm partial to the Oak Lawn location. But if you live up north, grab the kids, pack up the family truckster, and give the AB North location a whirl.

Yelp
I came here in a slow Monday during lunch and it was perfect! Very quiet, our server Trever was fantastic, and the food was good and came out fast. I've been here for dinner and it's packed but lunch is where it's at. I love how you pretty much have the place to yourself and don't have to yell to hear everyone at the table.

Mike F.

Yelp
We had the tastiest Cowboy Ribeye Steak along with Excellent Service by Travis today. We will definitely return soon for more great food and service.

Chase S.

Yelp
First time to Al Biernat's and it's been on my list for awhile as one of DFW's more premiere steak houses. Justin was our server and helped us settle on which steaks we wanted. The Japanese A5 Wagyu was incredible, melted like butter in my mouth. The tomato soup was delicious, not a huge lobster person but it was good as well. To top it all off I had some carrot cake which was a little dry and not the sweetest but decent. Overall experience was great and id take my business partners or family here anytime.

Lawrencia L.

Yelp
I came here for a Christmas party and booked a larger group. The service was good - considering the server was also the bar tender since it was brunch time. We were able to order from the dinner menu. The steak was good, the derbies were good as well. The valet worked from tips. The place was decorated nicely for pictures as well.

Crystal B.

Yelp
We spent our anniversary here for dinner and it was wonderful. The management team was great especially James Gee. Our server Jeff really took care of us. We drove over 45 miles knowing that our entire experience would be awesome and it was! See ya next time. The Brown's

Yelp
Our brunch group missed our Sunday brunch date so they asked me to make a choice and I suggested Al Biernat and we were rewarded with a great brunch. The six of us have been all around town for brunch so if you are ever wondering where to go next contact me. These are things we liked about Al's. 1. This location is on spring valley and the tollway so easy to find. 2. The restaurant is large with upstairs and bar seating too. I guess 250 seats. Nicely decorated for the holidays. 3. Valet parking is always a plus for us since my wife likes service. 4. We had the calamari for appetizers and it was excellent. 5. We all had something different to eat.: American breakfast, wife had eggs Benedict: French toast with steak and egg , prime rib hash and salmon salad. The key was everyone loved their meal. The downside was slow delivery of our drinks, I mean 20 minutes slow. The food was so slow that the waiter and manager on duty decided that they would give us dessert on the house. NICE TOUCH and it was very much appreciated We have not been here in couple of years but they have a coconut cream pie that two of the group got it to go. Overall it was a solid 5 except for the slow service. I forgot to say that our waiter was also a solid 5..we will come back.

Lowell O.

Yelp
Chilean Sea Bass is my favorite protein ever, and this is my new favorite place to order it. Served over lobster risotto and topped with a light basil citrus sauce, they really did the fish justice. I normally prefer sea bass in a ginger soy preparation. But... wow! My starter was a lovely grilled pear salad (very tasty). That was followed by what they describe as the perfect Manhattan: High West Double Rye, two Dolin vermouths (a sweet and a dry), Angostura and a twist. I certainly found no fault in it. Three desserts were passed around the table (all good), which were chased with a fabulous espresso martini, which they allowed us to offer as regular or decaf. The service was great. The waiter did not leave the table before everyone confirmed that their steak was cooked perfectly. One of our party noted that theirs was under cooked for "medium" and it was promptly replaced. The decor was very nice. (Even the restrooms featured black porcelain, which you don't see every day.) It was just a great experience all around.

Yelp
Well ... I really enjoyed this evening ... Not quite a bargain by any means but it's a bargain for an excellent dining experience. That make any sense? So I had Land, Air & Sea... Delicious & beautifully seasoned Bison, a huge monster shrimp & decent sized scallop, & quail... It's a really nice combination with creamed spinach, mashed taters and a carrot spray. Very nice indeed. Service was a technical 1st rate performance... Ambiance was very much what I'd expect from a 1st rate restaurant... It's a technical grand slam that deserves 5 stars without any question. So go... Get going right now. Why ya hesitating?

Laura W.

Yelp
Booked reservation for a party of 12 to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was all around a wonderful experience! Starters: Calamari, Beef Wellington Bites Mains: Air Land and Sea (10/10 recommended), others tried the steak, fish, Buffalo steak. Sides: Mac and cheese (chefs kiss) All the dishes we tried were well executed. Service was very prompt. We were running low on time to our next appointment. Our server was very fast to bring our check and we got to the next appointment on time. Was it worth the price? I would say yes. Because some memories are priceless.

Claudia D.

Yelp
Came in for a celebration. There is only valet parking so be prepared for that. It was suggested to make a reservation which we did and were seated quickly. The servers were awesome and great. They were all very attentive and great and made us feel at home. We were seated in the bar area which when we came in it was very loud, but I think happy hour ended so it quieted down a bit. The food is expensive, but boy is it delicious and made to perfection. The sides come out family style so we could all get a taste. We even got a dessert for my son. A great place to go.

Zerenity W.

Yelp
It's your typical white table cloth restaurant. I did notice they had a small area with a big screen tv that looked more like a bar area. Food: The crab and corn chowder was excellent; after my food came which I didn't like I wish I would have gotten a bigger bowl. The shrimp/prawns (name on menu) were good but pretty typical. The sauce that accompanied it gave a mix of ketchup and mayo. The greenery that came with it had capers which I didn't know would and I don't like capers. I was suggested the mushroom risotto and it's a no for me. It lacked seasoning and one of the cheeses didn't melt and was hard to chew. I adore crab cakes and had to send them back. I'll never understand restaurants that bread crab cakes but don't season the breading. The table enjoyed the Caesar salad, Chicken Parmesan, the double stuffed lobster that came with crab and the halibut. Service. Candace provided great service. She was sweet and attentive. Our busser seemed like she didn't want to be there. I caught her rolling her eyes a few times when she asked if I was done with the bread and I stated yes since they had already removed the butter from the table. Overall: I would probably give them another chance; maybe I ordered the wrong things. Next time I'll check out brunch.

Alex B.

Yelp
Probably the best service I've had at a restaurant! All staff members were so kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to make sure all items brought out were vegan and offered complimentary champagne and dessert for a special occasion. Loved the option for checking my coat. Always a huge fan when that's available. Ordered the vegan enchiladas which were a 4/5 for me- really heavy on the vegan cheese which was overwhelming and preferred to take most of it off. Do wish they had a few more vegan options as there were no appetizer options and only 3 dinner options. No options for dessert other than fresh berries (which is appreciated!) Perfect for a lovely night out, little less perfect if you happen to have dietary restrictions.

Patricia W.

Yelp
Dined mothers day for brunch. Al's never disappoints Even when the place us packed! Eggs Benedict with tender filet was mouth watering tender.

Bry C.

Yelp
Trevor was amazing. Great service. The sea bass was delicious. Chocolate martini was perfect. Great food. Loved it!

Randal M.

Yelp
The food was outstanding, the attention to detail was beyond what I ever expected. The service staff was excellent.

Julie L.

Yelp
Had dinner this evening for the first time at this location and it was a bit of a disappointment compared to the Oak Lawn location. Was seated on the second floor and the service and atmosphere were not up to par. The food was possibly as good but the other areas lacking made for a below average experience. Not sure I would return to the Al Biernats North.

Dean P.

Yelp
Took my fiancée on a date and Al's did not disappoint. The ambiance, the service and the selections are perfect for any fancy date night. I got the cowboy ribeye and my fiancée for the veal Osso Bucco. Both dishes were delicious and superb. Al's is definitely a Dallas staple and a great a place for any special occasion. I would even say just to eat and enjoy as well.

Gigi B.

Yelp
We had family arrive from out of town, we always kick off their visit with a steakhouse. Tonight, we decided to try Al Biernat's for the first time. We were all extremely pleased with our meals. One ordered the halibut, and not only the presentation was beautiful but delicious. And our steaks were amazing. We also treated ourselves to dessert. Wow, the bourbon cake was worth every calorie The cocktails, wine, steaks, etc...it was all fantastic. The entire staff at Al Biernet's North were extremely friendly and going out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful evening. We especially liked our waitress Cassidy. She was very good and on top of everything. The manager also took time to stop by our table and visit with us. He was such a great guy. We look forward to bringing clients, family, and friends back to this location

Darlene Y.

Yelp
Al Biernat's gives me LA Beverly hills Lawry's vibes. Aesthetics were lovely, service was amazing, and I loved the food! It's perfect for a dinner meeting or a date! CHILLED SEAFOOD TOWER, is a great starter for sharing. For main I had their special WAGYU .... I don't remember the rest of what the server said, but I'm still dreaming about the wagyu. For the sides; loved the ROASTED BRUSSEL SPROUTS, CREAMED SPINACH, CREAMED CORN, POTATO AU GRATIN, and the MAC & CHEESE! The desserts are fabulous too, but the dinner is what you're really going for. ENJOY!

Sylvia M.

Yelp
This place has a wonderful upscale charm. Our food was good but I will drive and break diet for their chocolate bourbon bread pudding with salted caramel gelato. But besides great food and wonderful service, I loved Cassidy. She was friendly, informative and over all the level of service you expect from fine dining.

Helen L.

Yelp
This place reminds me a lot of Nick and Sam's. Personally I think their steak is better than Nick and Sam's. We got the escargot appetizer and it was delicious this place is usually packed so it's best to get a reservation in advance. Overall it's a pretty noisy/loud restaurant so expect to speak louder than your inside voice to maintain a conversation. Food and service was great, just a noisy ambience lol.

Lisa D.

Yelp
We sat in the lounge and Danny was our waiter. He is excellent at his job! We were looking for a dining experience and Al's never disappoints!

Sarah C.

Yelp
In town for my BF's birthday, and I took him to Al Biernats for his birthday dinner. The restaurant was gorgeous and everyone working there was extremely friendly and kind. We sat upstairs, and our server was sweet and attentive. Neither of us drink, and in my recent dining experiences as of late, I've been really excited to see mocktail options on the menu. I didn't see anything, but asked if they had any- and the answer was a no, but our server did throw out some options and I went with a virgin mojito. LOL what I got was a straight up N/A gimlet, and it was not good! Onto food, we had calamari for an app, and it was really well seasoned with a nice zesty, red dripping sauce. I had a lobster bisque, and it was delicious with nice big bites of lobster (New England girl approved!). BF got a Caesar salad and that was also really tasty. For dinner, I had a filet, he had a NY Strip, and we had Brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese for the table. Steaks were good and well cooked. Mac had a delicious crust, but the bites without it weren't a wow. The Brussels were not my favorite. They were sautéed with bacon, there was a balsamic/maple note but the balance of flavors was off (sour?), and they could have spent a bit longer in the pan to get some crispiness to them. They gave us a free dessert for the bday boy, but we were too full and took it home. They even gave us a candle and I sung happy birthday to him before we dug into the flourless chocolate cake. That was a big YUM, super rich and delicious. Overall, a nice steakhouse and good location right off the tollway.

Franki H.

Yelp
I was apart of a large party meeting up for dinner reservation, I got there early and was told our table wasn't quite ready yet and we would have to wait for everyone to be present. The hostess invited to me start with a drink at the bar. I made my way up to the bar and had a delicious margarita. As more of my party met me at the bar, there weren't any seats left. The host came back and said we couldn't stay in the bar area any more but our table still wasn't ready. It was awkward and we felt like we had no where to go. Once we got seated, service was great. There were great recommendations made for shareable appetizers like the calamari and shrimp cocktail. I had the prime rib; it was cooked perfectly. I ordered the horseradish cream on the side because I was worried it would be over powering but it was mellow and a great complement.

Yelp
Best steak in Dallas! Loved the seafood tower, too! Can't wait to go back for more, have to go with a group because the sides are huge!!

Yelp
Absolutely stellar service. These folks know how to make a special occasion feel special. Special shout out to the manager, James, and our server, Seneca, for making my dad's birthday dinner wonderful. Absolutely recommend as one of the must-visit steakhouses of Dallas.

Yelp
Visited for Mother's Day Brunch, and everything was fantastic. The valets were efficient and respectful. The hostess greeted us with a smile and immediately seated us. We sat at in a quiet and intimate dining area at the far end of the restaurant, and loved it. Our server, Marco, was spot on... attentive and helpful, but not overbearing. The food was fantastic. By far, my shrimp and grits was the best plate of the table. We enjoyed it so much that Hubby wants to return for his birthday.

Yelp
Bartenders upstairs were so kind. I was in town for business and they made it comfortable to sit at the bar alone for dinner. I had the sea bass per their recommendation and it was delicious.

Yelp
I tried the Lobster Therimdor, Brussel Sprouts, and Mashed potatoes. The lobster was actually better than the version I tried at Dragos in Metairie LA. It's filled with crab also and has a parmesan topping. Delicious. The Brussels were good. They had the standard the balsamic glaze and who doesn't enjoy mashed potatoes. One of the finer meals of year.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a special occasion. Let it be known my guy and I are not fine dining connoisseurs. We rarely treat ourselves like this. Making a reservation was a breeze on the day before valentines. The restaurant itself is impressive looking but not too extravagant. Tables are nicely spaced ensuring adequate privacy. Our server was friendly and attentive. He provided excellent recommendations and later provided us a complimentary dessert since we had told him we got married earlier that day. Loved our meal. He knew we'd be sharing the plates so he had them split up evenly for each of us. Funny enough, the white fish (I think it was sea bass) on lobster risotto was so rich and delicious; dish was perfectly cooked. I liked it more than the steak though it was also delicious. The dining experience was lovely and the food was everything we hoped for. Definitely recommend

Yelp
I've been here twice for brunch, the most recent time was this past Sunday for Restaurant Week. Both times I've been here I've really enjoyed the meal, the chicken and waffles to be exact. I made a reservation both times and was seated in the bar area both times. The first time I came, the bartender was my server and at times he was inattentive. This most recent time, we had an actual server and he was excellent! The chicken and waffles are really good here. The chicken is well seasoned, tender, juicy, with a nice crispy skin. The waffles are soft and the right texture. The complimentary bread basket here is also worth note as it features a nice variety of breads, some even cake-like in texture, look, and sweetness level. The restaurant only does valet which is complimentary and for tips only. My only gripe is that mimosas aren't cheap at $10 a glass. Compared to the brunch menu of other restaurants, that's far on the high end of the spectrum. Alas, I guess this is the price we must pay for fine dining at a swanky restaurant. Still worth it!
