"Dinner in this polished dining room is a classy affair, but lunch is the best time to visit, when power brokers and those blissfully unencumbered by employment gather for ice-cold martinis and leisurely midday meals. If it's your first time here, go for the crisp wedge salad, a rosy filet mignon or New York strip paired with a rich port-foie gras sauce. Once you’ve checked off the obvious hits, it’s time to sample some of the less expected winners, like the meatloaf shrouded in a creamy mushroom marsala sauce, or the blackened pork chop lightened up by pico de gallo and a refreshing cucumber-radish slaw." - kevin gray
