The 25 Best Restaurants In Barcelona 2024

"Albé is what happens when a Lebanese restaurateur moves to Barcelona, falls in love with the produce, and starts combining Lebanese techniques with Catalan ingredients. The modern, plant-filled space is the perfect place for a daytime lunch (when the front dining area by the entrance fills with natural light), but it works equally well for a romantic, mood-lit dinner in the cozy interior room. Dishes include stuff like smoked labneh with pita, duck breast in a bitter orange sauce, and Iberian pork cheek over french toast and smoked sour cream." - isabelle kliger

The 35 Best Restaurants in Barcelona

"Albé means “my heart” in Lebanese, and the team—expertly led by owner-come-maître d’Joey Attieh—genuinely loves what they do. You’ll see what we mean when you come. Albé is one of a kind. Come here when you're ready for some different flavors and a new approach to cooking local produce—hamachi tiradito that comes with a Lebanese leche de tigre, savory baklava topped with red prawns from Blanes, a maitake mushroom with cashew cream and tabbouleh gel. The beautifully balanced tasting menu is a great way to try all the classics at once—and it’s a steal at €58 for nine dishes. As for drinks, try your first Lebanese wine and pair your dessert with their cardamom and orange blossom-infused take on the espresso martini." - Isabelle Kliger, Gemma Askham

Really nothing but great things to say about our experience in Albé! Xenia, the lovely waitress, looked after us so well from the moment we walked in the door. Her service is second to none, and the tasting menu matched up to the wonderful descriptions Xenia laid out for us. Between the creative menu, the food cooked to perfection (and packed full of flavour), and the 5 star service, this place is definitely worth checking out.

What a wonderful experience! We called very last minute on a Sunday but they were happy to have us. It was also my bday and the staff made sure it was a special lunch. All was great: the atmosphere is very calm and elegant (Japandi vibes), we took the long menu and loved every dish, and of course, staff was super pleasant. The tasting menu is diverse and includes local seasonal products. Would definitely repeat it and already recommended it to all my foodies friends!

Loved this place. Had the small menu. Everything was amazing. Had 2 friends with different dietary restrictions (1 vegan gluten free and 1 vegetarian) and they had a modified menu for each of us. The service was spectacular (I actually think we were served by the owner). They seem to speak a lot of languages. We heard english, french, spanish and arabic. The lebanese wines were incredible. The flavors were unbelievable. We all left super happy and satisfied. The atmosphere is nice and chill. My favorites were the prawn baklava and the mushroom-type thing that looked like a flower. Increidible. Also the falafels, labneh with basil oil, eggplant.. really everything was great!

Absolutely incredible food, and lovely service. We had a group of 8 and chose the 'Albé, The Menu' tasting menu. It can be difficult when people have different preferences, but everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. The highlight was the mushroom dish (maitake) but genuinely all the dishes were great. We had a lovely wine pairing as well, recommend by the team. On top of this, the service, and the atmosphere was great. If I'm ever back in Barcelona I will return!

Everything was so delicious, very tender, well- balanced and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed the food and the service a lot. Labneh, hamachi, beef tongue and chocolate brownie with cardamon are must tries!!

What an absolutely amazing evening at Albé! We did the regular tasting menu, which is MORE than enough food, and there wasn’t one dish we didn’t enjoy. I did the wine pairing and, for 33€, it’s a steal. Our waitress was also the sommelier, and I loved her passion for the food and the wine. Highlights includes the smoked labneh, maitake mushroom, trout, duck, and the chocolate dessert. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and I would 100% go back.

Albé brings the heart of Lebanese home taste to Barcelona with a unique culinary twist. Every dish is a perfect blend of tradition and creativity, making it one of the best dining experiences in the city. The flavors are authentic, rich, and truly remind you of home. Highly recommended!

The english language lacks the vocabulary necessary to comprehend how fabulous, wonderful, magnificent and insane the food here was. I will never have a desert as good as the desert I had here, it was like the fireworks at the end of the show, a spectacular end to this incredible gastronomic experience. Thank you to the chefs, it was a pleasure for my palate.
