Aleida’s has become a family favorite. The food is delicious, the service is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere in their new location is beautiful and inviting. I love how it’s decorated with a colorful mural, florals, greenery and fun light fixtures. Benito, the owner, is so nice. Always asks about our family and how our daughter is doing in school. We’ve been coming here for over 2 years and we’re so excited for their expansion. They now have a full bar, sit down service available inside and patio seating (with fans!). The food is so good. Our favorites are the arepas and the cachapas pabellón. The seasonings and flavors are perfect. We’ve also had the tequeños con queso and the tequeños con guava. They are melt in your mouth amazing. My favorite dessert is the tres leches. It is by far the BEST tres leches in the Austin area (and I’ve tried many!) I love the new menus are made with embossed leather and wood and are clearly marked for which dishes are favorites, spicy, vegetarian, and gluten friendly.

Google
Tried Aleidas Restaurant for the first time and overall had a good experience. The Venezuelan burger was delicious—juicy, flavorful, and packed with toppings. The arepa was also tasty and authentic, though it was a bit too greasy for my liking. One downside was the french fries—they were cold when served, which took away from the overall meal. That said, the main dishes were solid and worth trying if you’re craving Venezuelan comfort food. Will definitely come back to try more items from the menu!

Google
Flavorful Venezuelan Food & Friendly Atmosphere in Cedar Park! We had a wonderful experience at Aleidas Restaurant, a cozy Venezuelan spot located in the heart of Cedar Park. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We ordered the Vegetarian Plate ($19.28), which included one arepa or tortilla (corn or flour), two eggs (fried or scrambled), black beans, avocado, tomato or pico de gallo, and mixed cheese—every bite was satisfying and well-seasoned. The service was fast and welcoming, and the environment was clean, bright, and very family-friendly. It’s a place that makes you feel at home. Plenty of parking is available, which is always a plus. Whether you’re craving authentic Venezuelan dishes or looking for a great vegetarian option, Aleidas is a must-visit in the Cedar Park area!

Google
Aleidas Restaurant is welcoming , beautiful and has such a nice uplifting vibe. My daughter and I just had a lovely lunch experience there . The three salsas were unique and so flavorful, as were their chips. We both chose the Arepas , Shrimp and Chicken . So scrumptious ! I am really looking forward to tasting the rest of the menu!

Google
I went a few days ago and we loved everything — from the margaritas to the burger we had, and the appetizer too. The food, the service, and the place itself were all amazing. The menu is quite extensive, which is a big plus. I totally recommend it and we’ll definitely be back!

Google
My family and I love this place!!!! We come here all the time. It’s owned by a wonderful family and they are all so kind! Servers are very always friendly and welcoming. I love that they upgraded to a bigger restaurant and the atmosphere inside is wonderful and amazing. They also have a great outside area as well. Now about the food… oh my gosh you have to come here and try everything! I got the grilled jalapeño chicken arepa today and it was SOOOO delicious! I got hot queso on mine as well and it was really tasty and had so many flavors. We always get the mini combo arepas for our appetizer as shown in the picture below and it’s so much food and tasty, perfect for 4-5 people to share! Everything they make here is well made and made with love. Their bowls and burritos are also so big and sooooo good. Definitely recommend. Every time I have been here our servers are so kind and friendly. The owner is very friendly and great to talk too! You can tell him and his family put a lot into their restaurant to make the best meals for customers. Also the tres leche was the best I’ve ever had, I definitely recommend coming here if you are craving some real, delicious treats! To the owner and family, we love this place so much and will be coming more frequently. 😋🩷

Google
Aleida’s Restaurant in Cedar Park is a true hidden gem. The variety of Latin food is impressive — full of authentic flavor and heart. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is outstanding. The owners make you feel right at home, and the cocktails are absolutely top-tier. A must-visit spot in Texas for great vibes, great people, and unforgettable food.

Google
Great arepa while visiting the area for work. The host is a lovely guy who made us feel welcome. The nachos and cheese sauce I was enjoying a little too much and he gave us another serving. Definitely a good spot.

Yelp
I never really had Venezuelan food before but their breakfast food was really good. The boss man gave us some extra sauces mid meal to do a tri mix and made it even better. The single breakfast plate was a lot of food. Enough to feed two people and really great for the price. Not a lot of places in Austin do this. I have to travel out a bit for this. I was curious about the shark empanada but was disappointed they didn't have any this day. Perhaps next time will have some. This place opens early enough so it's a good spot to hit before any event in the area.

Yelp
We found this place because it wasn't too far from a place that we were staying at. The food wasn't bad, but the place was absolutely filthy!! The music was too loud, the waiter/owner was practically nonexistent and a couple times we had to ask him to bring either a new drink or a new chips and salsa because he would cough in our food and drink, respectively. Overall, the place has potential but needs a little work. Not too sure if I can recommend this place as of yet.

Yelp
New spot - same great food! Now they have alcohol too! We love the new location. The addition of a bar, patio and upgraded seating inside make it a much better dine-in experience.

Yelp
Second time visiting but it wasn't as good. I got the Aleida's sampler, which includes mini arepas and other fried stuff. Although I shared it with my bf, it was difficult to finish because I think everything tasted the same. The interior is still as pretty as ever! Maybe I will stick with getting the big arepas next time but this visit was definitely 3 stars.

Yelp
Nothing better than hitting the right restaurant after a tireless move in day! This place was so friendly, our needs were met the entire time. The manager even mentioned the ingredients they use, and bring from the great lands of Venezuela. Appetizers and entrees were full of delicious and savory richness. Thank you to Benito, we're coming back soon!

Yelp
We stopped by Aleida's for a quick bite on a Sunday evening. The meal was good, but IMHO the place is not worthy of the almost 5-star rating posted online. The restaurant is a small "hole in the wall" storefront in a strip mall. Not necessarily a bad thing! But smaller than one would think. They are moving to another spot in the small mall, which we drove by on the way out. Larger space, area for a full bar, the licenses for which have been applied for based on the poster in the window of the restaurant. The only drinks/cocktails available this evening was one beer. Many of the items on the menu were "out of stock"... the restaurant's signature red sauce, all the desserts except tres leches cake, cachpas (didn't have those), etc., all not available. However, what we were able to order was good! We started with an order of chips and queso... chips warm, nice and crisp, the queso OK but unremarkable, some melted cheese and very small bits of peppers, red, green and orange (guessing red and green jalapenos and scotch bonnets). The tortilla soup was a standout... nice broth, ton of shredded chicken, seasoned a bit heavy, but tasty! We also had the jalapeno chicken arepas and a chicken burrito. Both were very good; the burrito was probably our favorite of the two entrees. Forgot a pic of the burrito... sorry about that! LOL Tips for management ... it wasn't busy. In fact, no customers there when we walked in. The staff laughing and joking in the back... a table full of old dishes and trash was closest to the order/register, food from the days diners was obvious all over the floor, the bottles of salsa bought to our table were not clean. If the staff has time (obviously it did) the place should be spotless.

Yelp
Come here a couple of times and always had great experiences! Each time I've come at lunch and been served right away. The employees have been consistently friendly and efficient in their service I've never had a bad meal here, but their cachapa panellon is the dish I find myself going to most often. There's only a handful of places in the Austin area that serve it and I definitely think they do it the best I appreciate the depth of arepa options they have, I'm surprised more places don't have a breakfast arepa option. There's also plenty of non arepa/cachapa options that are also high quality, so I've had this place in my regular rotation for a while and never gotten bored Overall I can't recommend strongly enough if you live in the Austin area or are visiting from a place where Venezuelan food isn't available

Yelp
This is a little hidden gem tucked away in a shopping plaza, so glad we found it! The owners/workers had a lot of pride in their restaurant and you could really tell. Everything was very clean and they made sure to check in on us and give recommendations along the way. We ordered at the counter, grabbed our drinks, and chose our own table. I love a good quick spot for lunch like this. I had a shredded beef and guacamole arepa and it was delicious! It was packed full of so much good stuff, I couldn't quite finish all of it which was sad, I especially loved the plantains that came on top! They had a white sauce and a spicier green sauce, both of which were delicious, but not very spicy, just lots of flavor. My husband had a chicken arepa and it was also really good, the meat was very high quality and no gross chewy bits to be found. So glad we were able to have a great lunch at this sweet local spot.

Yelp
This was such a mess. This whole event occurred on Memorial Day. I ordered: * 1x Burrata Pizza * 1x Beni-Nachos * 1x Tequēnos * 1x Cinnamon Churro Cheesecake * 1x Alieda's Sauce Order total: $79.24 8:07 PM: I walk in to pick up my order. I am told 5 more minutes. I go sit in my car. 8:12 PM: I come back in. Nobody's at the counter, so I sit down. I wait for another minute before being told 3 more minutes. I wait 3 minutes and they hand me just the pizza. 8:17 PM: I text my partner that the pizza is small but smells good. I'm still sitting and waiting for the rest. They tell me 3 minutes. They bring a tied plastic bag to my table 3 minutes later. I thank them. 8:21 PM: I sit in my car and think about the size of the bag. I double check my order and realize they forgot the cake. I go back inside and tell them. I see the waiter look in the fridge that's right in front of the counter. They go into the kitchen. 8:24 PM: I text my partner that they almost forgot the cake. 8:25 PM: They bring me the cake. The cake is small. I live 5 minutes from Alieda's. 8:33 PM: I arrive home. I lay everything out and it looks good. I take a bite of nachos and I'm immediately disappointed. The nachos are soggy. At this point, we start trying to make servings for people. The nachos are so soggy and everything just started sticking together as the cheese cooled. It was terrible. The pizza is one with tomatoes, I understand tomatoes make things soggy. This was a pizza that was sloppily cut. I could not get a piece out whole. Then, we see the cake. It's fu*king frozen. Are you kidding me? The SLICE of cake was $11.50 alone. I called and expressed my concerns professionally because I work in customer service. I understand how it feels being on the other end and taking a complaint. It's hard. They offered a refund almost immediately. I put my purchase on a credit card and I needed to wait a few days to see if it was voided like they said it would. It was not voided and I had to call doordash customer support today. As for the taste. It tasted fine, however I did not eat anything because it was so soggy. The Tequēnos taste store-bought. Overall. I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant.

Yelp
Food was fantastic and service was top notch. They were so gracious in bringing us some different sauces they make in house just to try and we loved them all. Such a wonderful place to have in CP. We are fortunate to have them

Dave P.

Yelp
Forget Tex Mex food. This place puts tacos to shame. We have been multiple times now and love everything from the frozen margaritas and pita style Gordita like sandwiches to breakfast and amazing coffee, and desert. OMG the fried plantains are out of this world...my favorite especially the way the they serve them with a sour cream sauce and special white cheese. Every time we have been there we were treated like family by Benito. Where has this food been my whole life. I love this man and his business. This could be one of my favorite restaurants ever and I'm a very serious foodie. I also love to cook and I rarely find food out that I can't make as good or better. I can't touch this cuisine! The place is clean, even the restrooms are perfect. This is a top notch designed and operated business family owned and ran and you can actually feel the great vibe.

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't been here before. It was very busy at lunch but the wait for food wasn't long. I love this place. The menu is fabulous. Breakfast all day. Kids meals. Looks like they are getting a liquor license soon. The owner explained the menu to me in detail. They have great pies too. I'll be back next week!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is absolutely worth the high ratings and I would drive across the city to try it out again! The service is friendly and ambiance is super cute with a decent amount of indoor seating. Everything we got was delicious! Cachapa - a huge serving, enough for two. The mix of sweet corn and savory fillings was perfect and I'd recommend for anyone to try at least once. Sampler - great and everything was tasty. Good for a big group if you wanna try some different things. Next time I'd probably get the tequenos and maybe an arepa instead though. Pabellon plate - plantains were great! And the chicken was super juicy and full of flavor. Definitely recommend trying it out! Cachapa is a must!

Yelp
Beautiful interior. The owner was our waiter and he was very kind and thoughtful. He told us this was a family owned business and he tried his best to make the food and ambience perfect. His main objective was to make sure we were happy food was also phenomenal- my personal favorite was the arepas with the fresh salsas. This is a hole in the wall for sure. Will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Oh man this place is excellent. What a hidden gem out here in deepest, darkest Cedar Park. The food is fantastic, ambiance on point, and staff helpful and nice. This is definitely going to be on the rotation.

Adam L.

Yelp
Aleidas = foodie heaven! The place was packed, but you'd never know it from how quickly our food arrived. The staff kept checking in, which made us feel like VIPs. We tried a BYOB (fun!), an arepa, an empanada, and then... cue dramatic music... the cinnamon churro cheesecake. Every dish was next-level delicious - like "do a happy dance" delicious. I left stuffed, smiling, and already planning my next visit. Pro tip: save room for dessert, trust me.

Yelp
AMAZING food. Love the new space. Best. Flan. Ever. Our server was SOO NICE and thanked us for being nice to her! Makes me think shes had some rough customers. Be nice, y'all!

Sara S.

Yelp
Yum Yum and Yum! So good! Very vibrant cute place, with delicious food. Some of my friends had never tried Venezuelan food before, and I knew they'd love it - which they did! Highly recommend the Cachapa and Taquenos for appitizers to share with your table. All the Arepas are delish!
google avatar

Andrea P.

Yelp
Highly recommend this place! We came to try the Arepas, we got their sample plate instead. It had a variety of things to try such as arepas, empanadas, plantains, etc. We really enjoyed the arepas and empanadas. Customer service was great, the owner was very nice and attentive. Place is clean, plenty of seating with booths and a few tables. Everything is fresh, and made to order.
google avatar

Diana S.

Yelp
This was my first time having arepas. Maybe they're just not my thing, but I didn't really enjoy my meal here. The chicken was quite dry and lacked flavor, and I felt that $17 was expensive for what it was. My friends seemed to enjoy it, so I think it's still worth a try.
google avatar

Keshav N.

Yelp
Arepas are really good. Also they had a sauce on the side that was super flavorful and great balance of spice. The people at the front are very nice.

Kevin G.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem. Fantastic food. We just recently discovered this and have been here twice in a week. Great gluten free options. Frozen margarita was great as well. This is now part of our normal round of places to eat.
google avatar

Katherine F.

Yelp
I had a Arepa Llanera for lunch. So did my friend. It was like a steak taco in a pita but it wasn't a taco or a pita! It was Venezuelan. The bread was fabulous and I loved the sauce they used, The steak was tender and plentiful. We were looking for something new and we found it! The place was clean and friendly. They also have Mexican dishes but we didn't try it. We can't wait to go back and try some other dishes.
google avatar

Rez H.

Yelp
I like the food in general but the food doesn't have a wow factor. The empanadas were good but I was hoping for more flavor from the ground beef. The shark empanada seemed under salted and spiced. But everything was definitely fresh and well prepared.
google avatar

D S.

Yelp
This place is fantastic! Wonderful food! Nothing here is pre-made. You can tell the quality of ingredients. Original recipes that blend wonderfully with the various sauces. Definitely will be coming back.

Emily J.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. I had the Arepa breakfast with an avocado add on and I loved it. Very quick service and excellent staff that was friendly and helpful as well. Definitely making this a spot in my restaurant rotation.

Yelp
Food is Amazing! Coming from Miami, FL and a multi-Latino background, this place is the bomb! They need to serve a little more sometimes for the to go orders, but I love this spot now!
google avatar

Pete K.

Yelp
The food was amazing I got the breakfast burrito. The owner was amazing and kind person. I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Five stars doesn't do this gem justice. We tried quite a few things but our absolute favorites were the Arepa Pabellón and Cachapa Original. There is so much flavor and everything was so good with the garlic aleidas sauce. They were very nice, explained the menu to us and walked us through what everything was and what the most popular items were. The chef came out to see how we ended up liking everything and told us everything he makes is from scratch and made from love. (Fun fact: they're from Venezuela and used to have a restaurant there!) Other things we tried: Tequeños: Reminded us of a flaky croissant filled with cheese. It was good but not the star of the show Chips & Queso: The best chips & the queso was really really good Empanadas: We tried shrimp & ground beef empanadas. Both were verrry good, the crust was flaky and flavorful and the meat was so well seasoned. Theyre located in a strip mall next to Board & Brush, the location is kind of unassuming and when you walk in it looks small but don't let that deter you - this is some of the best food we've ever had!
google avatar

Seth P.

Yelp
We are visiting from California and like to experience things. The food was fantastic , tasty. We enjoyed choosing the sampler with a mixture of their specialties. We visited with the owner who pleasantly explained his philosophy and why they maintain excellence. They will be moving soon into a larger facility and adding a bar .

Christian P.

Yelp
Went to this neighborhood restaurant tonight and had an amazing experience. The food, service, and ambiance was outstanding! Can't wait to go back and try something new.
google avatar

Korey A.

Yelp
The food here is fantastic. I just wish they weren't so expensive. I usually get a chicken arepa but they are like $15+, which is quite a bit for lunch. I would love to see a smaller portion and lunch special. If so, I would come here more often.

Yesenia Z.

Yelp
Omg this place was amazing! You can tell everything was homemade from the beans, chicken, pork. Try the sampler it was enough food for 2 people at $27.00! Benito was super nice and explained all the types of food on the menu. We will be coming back!
google avatar

Amy C.

Yelp
This is one of my favorites. Delicious food and friendly owners. The Arepa Pabellón is my go to item. I often find myself craving it.
google avatar

Tori S.

Yelp
Tiny but mighty! We loved every second of our experience at Aleida's from the warm welcome to the suggestions to the atmosphere. We tasted a little bit of everything including the special agua fresca of the day and it was delicious! I cannot wait to go back.
google avatar

Ana D.

Yelp
Left with a full and happy tummy! So glad to have finally made it to Aleida's! Beautiful decor- you're supposed to feel like you're sitting outside. The restaurant is filled with beautiful colors and decor. You enter and walk straight to the back of the restaurant to order. It was our first time so we grabbed a few menus and sat at a table to look over the menu. Once ready we got up and walked to the back and met with the cashier (she ended up being our server and everything in between). We ordered the sampler, Arepa Llenera (3), and the Pabellón Capacha. I thoroughly enjoyed my arepa llenera, just the right taste. I wanted for nothing more. My partner was super happy with his Capacha. The only thing we wish we would have had is some spicy salsa. The Aleida's sauce was a good substitute though. Not spicy, just tasty. Service was exceptional and truly no complaints. We will be back and you should swing by too.
google avatar

Jesse S.

Yelp
The food was good and smaller in portion size. The restaurant is cozy and colorful with avant garde style decorations. You order and then sit down. Server was nice and courteous. I would recommend overall if you haven't had anything Venezuelan before.
google avatar

john g.

Yelp
Food is absolutely amazing! Inside the restaurant is nice, I particular like the Tv that shows a video of Latin American/Spanish speaking countries. Found it fascinating to watch. While the owner is warm and welcoming, service is slow. It took quite a bit of time to place an order and even longer to receive food. I don't recall the exact time it took to order, get the food, and eat. But I recall thinking, I wish my kids had a lot more patience. I wanna guess and say only 2 folks were working. One doing the serving and another doing the cooking. Bottom line. Great food. Absolutely amazing. Fantastic presentation. Slow service. Recommend, but not during a busy time.

Yelp
We wanted to try something new, away from SXSW traffic and took a drive to Cedar Park. Yelp to the rescue! Don't you love trying a new spot and it's way better than you expected? Aleida's is an unassuming restaurant in a strip mall with excellent reviews - we had to try it. A very kind gentleman (I think the owner) told us all about the menu, the history of the restaurant, the teacake bread on the counter and helped us pick our food. We decided to get the beef arapa, chicken empanadas, chips and queso. Everything was excellent. The chips are homemade, sturdy and delicious, baked not fried. The queso tasted fresh and tasty - together sublime. We ate two baskets of chips. The beef arapa is a sandwich with fresh baked bread and well seasoned shredded beef. It came with a mild and very spicy sauce- both delicious. The empanada was superbly fried, crispy and excellent. Throughout the meal our gentleman answered questions and was very attentive to the table. A treat and a surprise. If in the area, we will return.

Yelp
Yum yum yum! I've heard so many good things about Aleida's and I was so excited to finally try it out. The servers were so friendly, and took it upon themselves to explain what everything was when learning this was our first time there. The only problem was that I wanted to try everything on the menu! (Even though I was told they were known for their arepas.) Luckily, they have a sampler on the menu! The tequeños were so soft, despite the fried outside. The mini arepas were stuffed full and the meat inside was so tender and flavorful. The empanadas with the cheese inside were so addictive. The tacos were pretty typical, but good nonetheless. And the plantains were perfect to cut through the fried breadiness of everything else. I shared this with a friend, and we both got so full and were able to take home leftovers! I will definitely be back and I will be trying a cachapa next time! (I do wish they were open past 8pm though.)
google avatar

Neeharika P.

Yelp
Everything we tried at Aleida's was fresh and delicious. Nothing felt too heavy or processed, and you can tell everything is cooked with care and experience. The owners put great care into the decor as well - it's very well decorated for being such a tiny spot. Food - 4.5/5 - Arepa and cake were simply excellent. Tacos were a little off the mark - maybe could be a bit more tied together with cheese or fillings. But the taco plate was still a great value for money - $8 for two tacos and a small serving of chips and queso. Decor - 5/5 Service - 5/5
google avatar

Keith R.

Yelp
WOW FACTOR? great hosts. HAVE AGAIN: Aleida's sampler special was just delicious. We ordered 2 for the four of us. It was plenty of food. Excellence service.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Excellent service. Beyond friendly staff. Quick service. Don't leave without trying Aleida's special sauce. SO good and goes with everything.
google avatar

Lucy H.

Yelp
Cute little food stop with fun Hispanic decor. Friendly service all around! Manager was very sweet and came out to ensure that the food was good! Arepas were not my favorite. Plantains were DELICIOUS!! Bfast tacos were good too. Overall a quaint place. Not sure I'd go back but if you enjoy Hispanic food it's definitely worth a try.
google avatar

Mark C.

Yelp
Excellent meal and the service is great. We met the owner and he was very nice and friendly. The arepas here are the best.
google avatar

Sam K.

Yelp
Ordered the shredded beef arepas and while hefty and filled with meat, it was a bit on the salty side in my opinion and pricey compared to other arepas I've had in the past. If you've never had arepas before, it's definitely worth a try! Flavor: 4/5 Cost: 2/5 Value: 3/5
google avatar

Brooke D.

Yelp
I really hate to only give this place three stars because I truly did not have a bad experience but the food just wasn't amazing . My friend and I got the special fries as an appetizer and they were fine, I just wish the serving was bigger. Where we were disappointed was with the arepas :/ I was super excited and ordered the jalapeño grilled chicken and my friend got the breakfast special. They were close to $17 so my expectations were pretty high and unfortunately these just didn't meet the mark. The ingredients in the arepas didn't taste fresh and were in desperate need of some sauce but they charge extra for sauce here. Once we got half way through, there was no filling left and it was no longer enjoyable to eat. I don't think I would have been as disappointed if our meal was as expensive as it was. We also waited a decent amount of time for our food, like close to 30 minutes but the owner of this place was incredibly sweet so I have nothing bad to say there.

Casey J.

Yelp
Amazing food as always and super-friendly staff. New location is GORGEOUS! Can't wait to try out the fully stocked bar and lovely outdoor seating area!!
