The space is a good size and they have some outdoor seating. It's nicely decorated. We had the Shrimp Basket and Truffle Fries they were both good. They have a good happy hour. The prices on the food are reasonable. The prices on Cocktails and some spirits are good. It's a laid back atmosphere with a good playlist. Btw, Stephanie, the bartender was very helpful and patient

One of my favorite lunch spots in the neighborhood! I go here very frequently when working from home and want a lunch break. The staff is super friendly and great. Food is amazing especially the chicken sandwich!! Definitely recommend this spot for lunch and dinner.

I came here for a quick lunch with no expectations and I was pretty happy with the overall experience. The burger was much better than I was hoping for; it was much better than a burger you typically get a bar, and the service was fantastic. My only nit pick: I wish they had more lunch menu options outside of burgers

Found this neighborhood place for my husband to hang out while I went to get a facial. Great beer list, and good pub grub. Bonus points for having on horse racing on tne sports channel. Thanks for making a great afternoon in NYC.

The fries are out of this world! With that said, I will say that we came here on a Tuesday night to enjoy some drinks and food and we’re completely overjoyed. The drinks are incredibly reasonable and I received the old-fashioned as well as the Jenn cocktail that were nine dollars apiece. Totally reasonable and absolutely delicious seats 10 or 14 tables, but there were a ton of families in large groups inside it was loud and lovely. Food was delivered very quickly and we loved everything. The only small critique would be that my wife did not enjoy the sweet flavor (jam?) added to the grilled cheese, but again, the fries made up for it. Love this place! Would definitely come back highly highly recommended! Everyone on the staff was just wonderful

This restaurant, in my opinion, is a hidden gem of classic American cuisine in Hell’s Kitchen. Although it didn’t look like anything fancy or enticing from the outside, one day I decided to step in and try this place. In my opinion, it has some of the best service and food quality you will find in this price range in Hell’s Kitchen. Everything I tried (been here three times over the year) has always been fresh, flavorful and delivered by polite and attentive wait staff who know just the right time to come by and check on you. Definitely recommend. Especially for brunch.

Stopped here for brunch on a Sunday. Service is quick and friendly. Ambiance is pretty loud but okay. The food is fine, though lacking flavor and pizzazz. Chicken and Waffles were dry; croque madame was bland. Overall, wouldn’t recommend given the other options in the area.

A great go to spot for my friends and I! Great environment, and a bonus in the winter- lots of coat hangers on the wall :) The prices aren't wild for being in this area...which we appreciate. Drink prices aren't too bad. The staff is great.

Yelp's a little gracious with 4 overall stars here. Basic food, nothing crazy, some flavors bad or extremely plain. Overpriced. $20-22 for any dish. I got the eggs Benedict. Good poached eggs over ham and a waffle. Waffle was new to me. The salad with it was so plain and even bitter. The Nutella pancake is nothing crazy. The size looks great but it was very simple. Very nice and attentive service.

Phenomenal staff!! The vibe is relaxing and informal with a good balance of music. I love coming to Alfie's for a relaxing night with friends and a low-key hang out. The food is great and the staff if very accommodating!

I decided to try Alfie's "famous burger," but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. While the service was good and our waitress was friendly, the burger itself was a bit underwhelming compared to other options in Hell's Kitchen, lacking the flavor punch I'd hoped for. Overall, it was an average burger experience in an otherwise welcoming spot. The place had a laid-back bar-style vibe.

Fantastic draft beer choices! We came here after dining at another restaurant, so we only got some beer. I love lovedddd the Montauk Juicy IPA and Guinness beer that I got. I'm really picky with my draft Guinness since it's super easy to get it wrong (tastes like soy sauce when it's wrong), but this was some of the best draft Guinness I've had in a while! Service was great and ambiance was amazing! Will definitely be back when I'm craving beer.

Great place especially to take straight friends in Hell's Kitchen!! The ambiance is great and the food is yummy and the drinks were amazing! Definitely a must try in HK. The music they play is fun and vibey and it's the perfect place to pre game especially with friends who aren't familiar with Hell's Kitchen. The service was great our waitress was quick and attentive and made the best drinks!

The food was amazing. This was our first time at this restaurant after going to Wildwood crest forty something years. It will be a regular visit from now on. Our waiter Robert was very friendly and made the best cappuccino. I recommend Alfie's restaurant highly. A must when in Wildwood.

I managed to snag some MJ the Musical tickets and Alfie's was the stop before show time. We literally just stumbled in as we were walking towards the theatre. I scanned the menu quickly and noticed they had happy hour and a turkey burger and that worked perfectly for me. We entered and were seated right away. The place was actually quite bustling for a cold NYC Wednesday night in January. With the place full it can feel tight getting through and not very comfortable while seated. Nonetheless service was attentive, when possible. I ordered an Old Fashioned and that Turkey Burger that caught my eye accompanied by sweet potato fries. My drink was ok but my food was delish and perfectly hit the spot. Just A Note: If looking for a fairly quick bite to eat before a show, Alfie's might be worth checking out.

Went here for brunch and got seated right away! - Open faced lox bagel ($23): The egg looks so perfect. The lox bagel was typical and they gave a decent amount of lox on the bagel I've never had egg with lox bagel but definitely does taste well together (4/5) - Grilled chicken ciabatta ($23): The fries were both crispy and soft. The sandwich was flavorful and I loved the ssamjang aioli they included in the sandwich. The chicken wasn't too dry either (4/5) Would come back during the night time for the bar vibe they had inside! The food is decently sized and okay in price (for NYC standards)! I was here with two friends this past Saturday around 5pm and there were plenty of seats. The service was courteous and fast. We all got a draft from their happy hour menu and shared a few dishes. The best was the fried cauliflower... truly divine. Super soft inside and crunchy out. You simply must get it. Then we shared the pulled pork sliders. Although the meat could have been warmer, they were solid. Last, we had the NY Soppressata flatbread, which definitely needed some salt but was otherwise pretty good. The ambiance was relaxed and not loud, but we also were there early, so I'm not sure how it gets there later in the evening. A solid gastropub with plenty of yummy options to eat. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Recommended.

Alfie's is a Hell's Kitchen staple and I enjoy going for an evening drink or for their brunch menu. They do a pretty affordable bottomless in case you are looking for a fun morning, and the food doesn't disappoint like many bottomless places do. The restaurant can get pretty packed depending on the weekend, and I've been able to walk in before and get a table but also had times where the wait has been close to an hour. I would recommend making a reservation a day or two in advance just in case, though if you're in the neighborhood it's worth a shot to try walking in. The menu is filled with eclectic items and fun fusion experiments. All the food portions are hefty and you'll probably have some leftovers to take home. The short rib hash is delicious: the meat is tender and the wine sauce really complements the flavors of the dish. It's definitely very rich and heavy, though, so if you're looking for something lighter I wouldn't recommend this. My friend loved her grilled chicken sandwich and the chicken was not dry at all. The chicken and waffles was huge, and tasted great with a heavy douse of the bourbon syrup. Definitely check this place out!

We came by with a group of 4 on sunday for boozy brunch and were able to get seated without a wait. We all opted for the bottomless brunch, however, service was pretty slow with getting us drinks. The food was great, I had the fried chicken and waffles which came with 2 nicely fried pieces of chicken and a nice red velvet waffle. Someone else had the short rib hash which looked amazing. I just have to dock another star, because I barely ate half my order of chicken and waffles, and asked for it to be boxed, but the person who took it away just threw it out and I never got it back! So if you want to take your leftovers home, ask for a box and do it yourself!

Stumbled upon this place on a beautiful afternoon and so glad I do. Not only was the music really good but I got the house burger and it was so juicy! And fries were nice and crispy. Server was very kind and attentive & checked in multiple times even though I decided to virtually work there after. Will def be back for happy hour ;)

Came here for breakfast? Brunch? Not sure. around 11am both work. The place seems to get packed around 11:30 so I think the locals know. The place looks basically like a bar from the 1980s (may be) but the vibe is not the 1980 it is hip but they are paying the homage to the Hell's Kitchen and its roots. The Irish fare is very much Irish but you still get the Avocado Toast and Croque Madame on the menu but the Eggs and pancakes and Country Ham do this place justice. I don't know the name of the gentleman at the door but he makes it even more authentically local.

A solid happy hour place with good vibes! Came here on a Friday for happy hour and got seated right away. They have happy hour food which in the city is so rare so giving 4 stars solely for that reason. In terms of the food, we got the General Tso's Crispy Cauliflower and NY Soppressata and neither were amazing but not horrible. But again, the price can't be beat and it's nice to have something to nibble on when you're out for happy hour. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a solid happy hour deal!

Alfie's is fantastic! It's a great lunch and happy hour spot! It's young, modern, and won't disappoint. I went with a group of 9 people for lunch and we were served quickly & seemlessly. The service was awesome! The staff is friendly, professional, and gave great food recommendations! Not to mention the prices are more than reasonable!! Portions are big so there's no need to worry about getting your moneys worth. We'll definitely be coming back again!

The mark of a good chef is one that can challenge perspective. Went in thinking the pancakes might not be how I'd like but was shown they were exactly how they should be. Impressed, bravo. Make sure to ask for bacon, butter, and coffee for the complete experience.

My friend and I stopped by Alfie's for a quick mid-day snack this past Monday. Alfie's has your typical restaurant-bar ambiance and interior. During mid-day on the week days, I think they have happy hour deals on drinks. Unfortunately, not for food. PARMESAN TRUFFLE FRIES - 14 While you're paying 14.00, know that you're about to get a huge basket of thick fries. The fries are generously topped with lots of parmesan and rosemary. Each order comes with ketchup and some aioli/creamy sauce. I don't have high standards for fries, so I eat and will continue to eat them even if they're not great. The fries came out piping hot so I'm glad to enjoy some fresh fries. Unfortunately, they were on the soggy/flimsy side and I wish they were crispier and held their shape better. They tasted great with both sauces -- couldn't tell which one I liked more. Regardless, my friend and I enjoyed catching up while munching on fries. The servers here are attentive and refilled our waters whenever we ran low. Alfie's is definitely a nice, convenient friend for those in Hell's Kitchen!

Fun vibe on a Saturday night, ordered spinach and artichoke dip with tortilla chips which was yummy and packed full of spinach, had lots of their baileys spin on espresso martinis which I personally loved! This place is phenomenal. Great service and superior food. I came for Sunday Brunch after the NYC Marathon (I didn't run). It was packed with spectators and locals, but they were able to get me in pretty quick. I was going to grab a drink and some food, but luckily I didn't have anywhere to be as I spotted the bottomless mimosas/bloodies for 90 minutes. Good thing because that's about how long it took me to figure out which of the delicious entrees I was going to have. I was in the mood for something cheesy so chose the Croque Madame. It was unbelievable and although my buddy recommended the Chicken and Waffles and my server recommended the Short Rib Hash, I don't think I could have chosen better. Great food. Great staff and great drinks. Location is perfect too.

This place is the spot. At first I showed up alone, but left w many friends. I sat at the bar and had drinks, the bartender, Ben, was incredible. Great service, great food. Ben was the man, very attentive, took care of my gf and I. Ben let me know about their happy hour and special, he also hooked us up with a shot at the end of dinner. I got the classic Alfie burger and it was killer. Medium rare and they nailed it. I really rock with this spot and will be back. Shout out to alfie and bartender Ben. A+

Alfie's is a great spot for brunch or drinks, however brunch is my go to time to go. Brunch can be pretty busy, so try to call ahead or go early.

stopped by here for a sunday happy hour deal!! the drinks were $10 each for a old fashion, classic marg, or summer gin and tonic. i loved the gin and tonic and the outdoor seating was such a vibe. def worth it for a happy hour but the food and drinks otherwise would be pretty expensive. also service was slow in terms of not receiving water until it was asked for whereas other tables got it immediately.

Went for brunch. Cute decor, service is okay, food could use a bit more seasoning. We did the bottomless mimosas/bloody Mary's. The watermelon mimosa was too sweet for me but the Apple cider mimosa was just right, and waitress was good about refilling it about 75% of the time. My friend wasn't crazy about the Bloody Mary- she said it was mostly the Bloody Mary mix so not the best. Food was good but needed more seasoning/salt. Good pick for brunch but Hell's Kitchen has more reliable places down the street..

Alfie's has a great brunch with a bottomless mimosas. The Dulce de Leche French Toast is my fav dish from Alfies. Super buttery and soft in the inside and slightly crispy on the outside. The service is consistent and the staff are friendly. I recommend coming here any day of the week since they offer special almost everyday. Definitely a great local restaurant with nice vibes.

We were planning to go to a different restaurant but could not get a table, and happily ended up at Alfie's. The interior is nicely decorated and cozy, and we were seated quickly. The dinner and happy hour menu was pretty large, and we opted to share everything. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip, truffle mac, crispy cauliflower, soppressata flatbread, and primi primavera flatbread. Definitely very limited vegan options, which was unfortunate for our vegan friend. My favorites were the truffle mac and general tso's crispy cauliflower. The truffle flavor of the mac is strong and super cheesy, and the cauliflower breading is flavorful and perfect. The spinach artichoke dip is definitely artichokey, which I love. The flatbreads were good too, but nothing crazy special. Service was quick and friendly. Recommend! Will definitely be back!

A visit here for dinner started out disappointing when I was told the HOT SPINACH AND ARTICHOKE DIP was sold out. Ugh, there really wasn't a second choice for the appetizers at the moment, so it was time to regroup on this fact. The table ended up getting the FAVA BEAN HUMMUS - Crudités, Grilled Pita, Za'atar and in the end I think we were almost glad the first choice was not available. It was a fresh take on something familiar and very tasty indeed! For the main course I had ALFIE'S GRASS FED BEEF BURGER - Fried Shallots, Gruyère, Portobello Mushrooms, Brioche Bun. I had the sweet potato fries with, and I was very happy with the choice. It was one of the better burgers to be had for sure, and I probably could have gone medium rare on it, which is something I would never think about asking for normally. Someone else at the table had the CHAR-GRILLED STEAK FRITES - 12 oz. NY Strip Steak, Hand-cut Fries, Green Beans, Chimichurri which looked amazing, and they were very happy with that as well. Then there is the fact that this place seems to have a full name of "Alfie's Kitchen & Craft Beer Bar" at least according to Resy. In addition to beer they have a very extensive drink menu, but my focus will also be on the beer. For me there were several new ones to be had here and what is nice is everything is on a board that is easily visible.

I came here for bottomless brunch. We started at 12 so it was pretty empty when we got there though it quickly picked up. I stuck with orange mimosas though you could try other options as well. I got a smoked salmon croissant with egg white which came with a fresh salad on the side. My cousin got avocado toast which looked really vibrant and fresh as well. Service was decent. At first, he wasn't that good at filling up our glasses but got better over time.

I came here last month and was pretty disappointed. The food looks great, but I traveled across midtown because the meal that is currently their business display picture looked great, but was unfortunately not on their menu. The drinks were a little underwhelming. 1 didn't seem to have a good ratio of sweet/acidic and the other was tasty, but you could barely feel anything by the end of it. Also, the seats at the tables did not have backs to them. I may have just gone on a bad night, but that first impression did not go well at all.

A good spot for beer and snacks in Hells Kitchen. Came here on our trip to New York and were pleasantly surprised by the casual vibe, the good food coming out of the kitchen and overall fun vibe. Pretty good bar food (with lots of Burrata) and great drinks. Recommended.

This was a cute little spot that had great reviews and not too far from where we stayed. The bartender was such a sweetheart and very personable! I went during happy hour and had two glasses of wine and this delicious burger that was cooked to absolute perfection. It was stacked tall and there was no way I could conquer this in all one sitting! The bacon was perfectly crisp and all the veggies were light and fresh! The fries were crispy just enough and soft on the inside! I loved all the pride decor they had and they have great outdoor seating as well!

Great service for bottomless brunch, with tasty food and a fun atmosphere. Just what me and my friends wanted to quench our mimosa cravings. Always a staple on 9th Ave, Alfies is solid any time of day.

My parents-in-law and my brother-in-law came here after seeing Funny Girl (which was really good btw but they've since replaced Beanie). The atmosphere is definitely very sports bar-like: very loud music, lots of conversations. The only bad thing was the music was super loud and we couldn't hear each other's conversation. We asked the waiter if it was possible to have the volume turned down but the waiter said, "No unfortunately because it gets really loud in here later, we keep the music at this volume." But we were able to move tables away from the speakers so that was a big help. The food was pretty good. I honestly don't remember what we all got and I didn't take any pictures even though I thought I did. But it is a nice area to just chill, relax, and have a drink with your friends. PS: Nevermind. I took pictures!

Usually I ask the bartender or waiter/waitress for recommendations because they know the menu! Unfortunately the bartender did not know anything... for me that is a big disappointment. Now the good part is they have frozen aperol spritz! How cool! Anyone who loves an aperol knows it's refreshing and a perfect spring/summer drink. It wasn't better than your average aperol spritz since it did taste different frozen but highly recommend if you like yours sweeter! We only got the spinach artichoke dip because the menu was very small and there weren't many options. It was off the side street of being near time square which was nice to not have all tourist area around it seemed like.

This has been my go to corner bar since I have lived here. It is a great neighborhood bar with excellent cocktails, a good happy hour and very good bar food. The menu is unique to most standard bar fair. Music is a good mix of popular alternative mix covering the 90's- 2023. Service is friendly and William the manager is just excellent. overall this is my favorite spot in NYC to feel at home in the neighborhood without pretentious attitude amoung the staff and patrons, why ? It seems people that come here are just themselves. Turkey burger is the best Turkey burger i have ecver had, Pototao fries are crisp and cook through but not overcooked, salmon which is on and off teh menu is excellent and all other food on the menu is solid. Great beer selection and if your a old fashioned person they have a great Sunday happy hour.

Its a reasonable stop, but nothing that stands out. They really should remove "craft beer" from their namings. They have a limited offering of high quality beer with little rotation. They ultimately have 3-4 local "ok" beers and the rest are big distribution. Food was ok.

The full irish offers plenty to munch on. A bloody mary or two helps with digestion, or so I tell myself. You can even lean all the way in and go bottomless; who's gonna judge you? More often, though, I come by in the evening for happy hour. $8 for an Old Fashioned brings a tear to my eye. $7 drafts and glasses of wine and $8 mixed drinks cover all the ground, ensuring a well-priced beverage for everyone. The dinner menu also has a lot of interesting options. I like the prosciutto flatbread and the buffalo chicken salad. Fancier fare, such as swordfish and steak frites, can easily be arranged. When in doubt, fish and chips won't disappoint. Alfie's is a sister restaurant to Jasper's, another well-loved 9th Avenue eatery. These are cheery, good-vibe establishments with a variety of local craft beer on tap and specials that resonate strongly. Tip your servers and bartenders and make your dreams come true.

It's been a busy couple of weeks and needed a place to come catch up with friends, as Alfie's was definitely it! The menu was so good it took us a awhile to determine what to eat, that's rare but we were definitely happy with every item. We all got different plates so that we could share and we loved each meal. On top of food being great, service was attentive and friendly throughout the entire visit, Head over to Alfie's for good times, great eats and brunch on the weekends as well!

Arrived shortly after happy hour ended and it was still so packed! I am sold, will definitely come back to try their happy hour deals 〰 - it can get pretty loud in here -/+ they have an small area near the br where you can hang your coats + pretty and strong cocktails are always a plus + burger was not dry and cooked a perfect medium rare as requested + their truffle aioli was so addictive (didn't come with the sweet potato fries but server was kind enough to give us when we asked) + servers were friendly and attentive

Chill vibe for late night drinks. The drink menu is actually larger than you'd expect, so ask to see a menu. There are about 4 or 5 different types of old fashions. I got the pumpkin spice old fashioned - nice and seasonal. Appropriately strong. This spot is also surprisingly child friendly - I've been told - so I'll keep it on a brunch list for the future!
