Where to Taste Springfield-Style Cashew Chicken

"This restaurant’s super-fresh made-to-order menu is consistently rated as a local Chinese food favorite. The cashew chicken is ultra crispy with a rich brown sauce and plenty of toppings. Hit up Amazin Asian for happy hour, where you can get cashew chicken, an eggroll or crab rangoon, and a drink for just $5.99." - Anne Roderique-Jones

A Hong Kong‑influenced kitchen known for scratch cooking, no MSG added, and gluten‑free options. Frequently praised by diners and noted by local outlets, it’s a modern counterpoint to the city’s classic Chinese‑American canon.

Honestly was a lot less food than I was led on to believe by the reviews for a large order Togo. Chicken was dry but it was good. Alittle less flavor than I expected. Very blan. But still good. Sauce was super sweet to where even with the small portion o wasn’t able to eat it all bc of how sweet it was. The crab rangoons was decent but a lot smaller. They forgot my side order of Rangoons. The lady didn’t know how to make change so after 5 minutes of waiting for her to try to figure it out I told her. It’s alight. Just keep it. I’m not too worried about 80 cents. Chicken was mainly just lose crustings. Overall if desperate enough I’d eat there again. (Cons) Portions very small for the large combo Crab rangoons tiny Forgot part of my order Staff wasn’t able to count change Very dry chicken tasted like old oil Blan flavor (Pros) They deliver with cash Delivery had to of been 10$ from the calculations Ain’t no way calculations are correct for this to be 30$

Decent Chinese food. Had the Orange Chicken and Crab Rangoons. The chicken was ok, but a couple of my pieces were kinda tough. The Crab Rangoons were above average though, so if you like those, I’d recommend ordering them! All in all everything was ok, but I don’t see myself making a trip just to eat here. If you’re regularly in the area though, definitely check them out!

Sketchy at first, but the food was fantastic. So many options to choice from. And everything tasted amazing. I recommended 100%

Seriously the most delicious crab rangoon either of us have ever had. Moo goo gai pan was also delicious, and we echo of previous review about the perfect subtlety of Tao’s chicken. My new favorite Asian restaurant in the Springfield area!

My wife and I were wanting to get some cashew chicken as we revisited Springfield after years away from there. Saw the really good reviews and we were excited to try it out (I had asked chatgpt for slightly upscale cahew chicken restaurant and this was listed in top 3). We arrived and walked in - the sign said seat yourself which was kind of ok but then we looked around: no one else was eating there (at dinner time), several tables still had dirty dishes and mess on them from whomever ate there before, there was stacked junked in the open at the back hallway, and no one was came out to see us. We got up and left right away as we got a very bad impression of the lack of cleanliness and service within the first minute. I did not rate the food in all fairness as we didn't even try it. But the impression of the place turned us off immediately from even going that far. We were disappointed - and it was our wedding anniversary and chose to eat there above other places. We went to Leong's Asian Diner and had totally the opposite experience and made up for it. So this is just a heads up if you plan to go this place. I really do hope they can turn it around.

Super yummy. They have Vietnamese and Chinese selections. Everything I've ever had from here has been delicious. Prices are fair. Staff is super friendly. Helpful if you need it. Convenient location right off battlefield not too far from the highway.

Love this place, but yesterday I randomly got a dish (Hofun) that I had never heard before and it was out of this world. Noodles were perfect and everything was seasoned great. I'll definitely be getting this again soon!

We were apprehensive when the whole place was empty, what a pleasant surprise! Every item we ordered was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and the staff was polite.General Tso's chicken was just spicy and sweet enough, and how and sour soup excellent! It soon became obvious they do a brisk takeout trade, and we will certainly be back. We ordered Egg Rolls, Pot Stickers and friend spring rolls as well. All we're amazing!
