Where to catch fresh seafood boils in Las Vegas and Henderson | Eater Vegas

"Newcomer Angry Crab Shack dons a bib and enters the Henderson market with Asian and Cajun flavors. Diners can order a seafood boil with options such as lobster, Dungeness crab, king crab, snow crab, or crawfish, all priced by the pound. Then customers can add sauces ranging from lemon pepper or garlic to water-based sweet or traditional. Spices range from “wimpy” mild to ridiculously hot. Believe it or not, scorching scorpion and angry ghost are listed as milder than ridiculously hot. Other add ins include seasonal vegetables, sausage, corn on the cob, red potato, a hard-boiled egg, or crispy tofu." - Susan Stapleton

Ridiculously hot seafood boils wade into Henderson | Eater Vegas

"A newcomer dons a bib and enters the Henderson market with Asian and Cajun flavors, debuting as Angry Crab Shack’s first Nevada location. Diners can order seafood boils by the pound — lobster, Dungeness crab, king crab, snow crab, or crawfish — then add sauces ranging from lemon pepper or garlic to water-based sweet or traditional and choose spice levels from “wimpy” mild to “ridiculously hot” (oddly, scorching scorpion and angry ghost are listed as milder than “ridiculously hot”). Other add-ins include seasonal vegetables, sausage, corn on the cob, red potato, a hard‑boiled egg, or crispy tofu, and the restaurant also offers sandwiches such as a lobster roll, po-boys, and shrimp and crab cakes. Kids have a menu with chicken tenders, mac and cheese, mini corn dogs, or fried shrimp starting at $5. The chain originally opened in 2013 in Mesa, Arizona, and now has six corporate and seven franchise locations with plans to open 100 locations by 2025. The Henderson spot is at 4250 E. Sunset Road (702-998-9095), open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with online ordering available for takeout and delivery." - Susan Stapleton

Google
I will preface this review stating that this restaurant seems to specialize in seafood boils and we did not try that. The atmosphere was above average and our server was great. We ordered Clam Chowder, Fried Shrimp w/ fries and cole slaw, Shrimp & grits, and garlic noodles. The Clam Chowder was good. The Fried Shrimp were clearly of the frozen processed variety which is extremely disappointing from a seafood restaurant. I can buy frozen shrimp at the grocery store that are significantly better 😢. Fries were fine but average. Cole slaw wasn't edible. Shrimp and grits were just ok. Garlic noodles tasted much more like lemon pepper than garlic 🧄, also disappointing. We aren't seafood boil fans so this restaurant isn't for us. Too bad I was hoping for better.

Tried Angry Crab Shack couple days ago! The king crab was delicious — sweet, juicy, and cooked just right. The Cajun crawfish wasn’t quite what I expected though; it could’ve used more seasoning and garlic for that extra flavor kick. The fried pickles were really good — crispy and tasty! The clams were okay, nothing special but not bad either. The atmosphere was great, and the place has a fun, casual vibe. Service was okay, friendly but could be a bit more attentive. Just sharing some honest feedback to help the restaurant improve — not to bring it down. Every business can get better with a little constructive feedback. I’ll definitely come back and try other items!

This place is absolutely awesome. The best people work here. Our server Julz was on top of everything 200%!!! The manager let my girls hold the 🦞lobsters! The food was FIRE. Everyone came out when it was time to sing happy Birthday to our daughter!!! I can proudly say, I have never had a more amazing experience than what i had here! We will be back again the next time we're in town!!! Thank you to all the beautiful people here and the customers who also joined in to sing happy birthday! 🫶🏽❤️🙏🏽💯🫂

Super fun if you're ready to get messy. Maya was friendly and knew the menu. Someone was having a birthday and the whole team brought the energy! Food was great, yummy seafood boil. Gumbo was pretty good too! And we got to meet Leo the lobster. Good times!

Best seafood restaurant I have ever been to in my life. We stopped in when on vacation in Vegas, I’m so glad we did. The lobster and crab legs are amazing, add your flavours and spices, so good!! You will not be disappointed.

UPDATE: On our second visit, Mark treated us very well. He is an excellent server; helpful, knowledgeable and provided plenty of soda refills. We ordered a variety of food including the Shack Trio, the Queen crab, Shrimp Cocktail and a house salad. The Shack Trio, served with a corn cob and small potato, included a little lobster tail, some snow crab legs and a half pound of headless peel and eat shrimp. The small lobster tail was properly cooked, the crab legs were very good and the shrimp were delicious. The Queen crab was big and tasty. The shrimp cocktail included 10 plump juicy shrimp and delicious horseradish cocktail sauce. My wife said she had to take a break just eating that! The house salad included tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons, a spring mix, and housemade ranch dressing. The interior is nicely decorated. They have a bar and lots of seating options. Televisions all over the place showing a variety of sports and entertainment. Will, a manager, came by to check on us. He was very nice. The fried cornbread with ice cream dessert is amazing! Overall, we are glad we came back and look forward to our next visit! FIRST VISIT: Jules did an excellent job serving us. She was helpful and friendly. We were impressed with all the variety, including the lunch specials, which were very reasonably priced. Nice interior with a fun atmosphere with plenty of decorations and television screens all over. We all ordered the shrimp and crab lunch special, which was fantastic! The generous portion of snow crab legs was big and perfectly cooked. The shrimp was ample, plump and juicy; easy to peel. This is some of the best crab I've had in a long time. The potatoes and corn topped off a great crab boil. Their clam chowder was delicious, had tons of clams and a little bit of bacon bits. It was served with parmesan encrusted dipping bread. Several flavors of sauce from which to choose, with many heat levels. Our soda and tea was refilled many times. We were very happy to be served crab crackers, zippers, and scissors. All of those are very nice to have while eating crab, while wearing their provided bibs. You're lucky to get one or two of those tools at any other crab boil. And, since I'm mentioning the place setting, a knife, spoon and fork were also provided; also rare in any restaurant these days to get all three of those. They have live lobsters and dungeness crabs (one did seem rather angry) to pick out for your meal. Overall, we were very impressed with this restaurant's food, service and decor. Look out for that giant shark! We look forward to our return!

Edit: seven months later from the first review I’ve written and can I just say that the service has only gotten better, the people have only become more friendly, and the food is just that much tastier! You would think after going to a place weekly, you would be sick of the food, but not here! From entering and seeing the bright and happy Jared, to being seated and serviced by the most spectacular Kenzie, and to just indulge in the most delicious crab this town has to offer! I just had to come back and write another review! Thank you guys for always hitting the nail on the head! We’ve come here three times now in the last month! That’s how amazing the food is, with even better services! The first time, was for my birthday, and Andrea really went above and beyond to make our experience amazing! From her treatment towards each and every one of us, to the blow horn happy birthday in the end! We’ve come back twice since, and both times have been splendid!! Thank you gals for making us the happiest crabs in town 🦀

Yelp
This was my first visit, and it didn't disappoint. The food was excellent--well-seasoned without being overpowering. I opted for the level 3 heat, which delivered a nice kick but wasn't too intense. My Hurricane cocktail was fantastic, with just the right amount of kick. Our server, Kenzie, was outstanding. She was helpful, energetic, and truly enhanced our experience. It's clear she loves what she does, and it shows in the service she provides. Kenzie, you rock!

Yelp
Really dang good food! We opted in for seating outside, although we felt kind of ignored, we enjoyed ourselves and the food! So nice out (even though another couple had dine n dashed) can't believe people still do that! PS - The high numbers to the right of certain things are NOT calories

Yelp
Angry Crab Shack is another addition to seafood boil spots in Vegas. It's located off of Sunset Road and was easy to find. The restaurant itself is quite large including a massive patio and bar area. They had TVs throughout the restaurant and played good music. We were immediately greeted by Andrew and brought to a booth. Andrew also was our server and he provided great service throughout our meal. I ordered the lunch special seafood boil bag. It was a really good deal for 1/2 lb of crab and 1/2 lb of shrimp with corn, potato, and a soda for $15. I ordered it mild with the trifecta sauce. The sauce was spicy and had a good burn to it, I was happy I didn't get medium because the mild was plenty spicy. I also added on a side of rice. The crab legs were bigger than snow crab and were meaty. The shrimp was good because they were deveined and partially peeled so they were easy to eat. My son ordered the cod kids meal with fries. It was a good size portion of fish and chips and came with a drink. We were pretty full but Andrew convinced us we had room for dessert so we got vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce which was the perfect ending to our meal. I would definitely return to Angry Crab Shack. The lunch specials they offer are really good and they have a pretty extensive menu. Great food and excellent service.

Yelp
Food was really good overall. The trifecta sauce at 1 heat was my favorite. My boyfriend got heat 3 Cajun & said it wasn't much flavor but had heat. Fries were okay. Nothing special. Passionfruit lemonade was really good. And the strawberry lime cocktail was good but definitely heavy of the strawberry syrup. We went on a Saturday at around 4:30, & service was quick. Pretty empty but definitely started to fill up as 5PM came around. Overall large place with a bunch of seating indoor and outdoor. (we sat indoor) the both we sat at was a bit uncomfortable, it felt like the seat was really high, but the table was very low. Portion sizes are decent as well. But yeah everything was great. We will definitely come back.

Yelp
We were craving some seafood and were going to play it safe and choose Loui Loui like back home, but decided to try Angry Crab instead. They had a special for Queen Crab and we decided to try them out as we had never heard of that before. Queen Crabs are actually Snow Crab but since a lot larger in size, they're in a league of their own! I like how Angry Crab offered that! I would order this again. It feels like your getting the benefit of King Crab but the price of Snow. Regarding the service, it was attentive & friendly. My mother had a slight hiccup with her order however they managed to fix that by the 3rd attempt. As for the food, it taste very bland! I couldn't taste any of the seasoning or anything! I don't even say this to be funny, but where was the flavor? We picked spicy and even ordered the Trifecta but tasted nothing. Below are some pics of our order!

Yelp
We came here one night to see what all the hype was about. Unfortunately it highly disappointed. Their Boil Bags are at market price and you pay per item. Including if you want to add corn, vegetables or potatoes. That's all extra. You pick your flavor combination and spice level. I will warn you, even the mildest spice level is spicy. Their spicy chicken sandwich definitely looks better than it tastes. It had zero spice to it at all. That was very disappointing. I actually prefer the fast food chicken sandwiches over this one. Unfortunately this is not a place I can see us returning to.

Yelp
My Son requested for us to go here for Father's Day. He wanted to try their food out. We had never been and I must say that the service was top-tier our waiter Gage was on top of everything with service and hospitality. He made sure that he bought us our drinks out immediately, one of my drinks was spicy, which I LOVED my son ordered a hurricane. Our order consisted of a shrimp and crab bag, red beans and rice, snow crab legs, scallop bowl, and appetizer platter, which was ALL wonderful. The snow crab legs were seasoned perfectly all the food was. Then we met the GM whose name was Davis. He was awesome he came to check on our table to make sure everything was okay. It was a very great experience. It's a 10 out of 10 ALL THE WAY because of how everything was done the hospitality, the seasoning of the food the welcoming environment it is a must go to when you out here in Vegas and I live out here so I definitely will be going back. (smile)

Yelp
A little sad today on lunch to go delivery pick up. We have dined in before multiple times no issues and have always had a positive experience. My wife picked up a lunch order and we ate it for dinner and checked our order and my bag was missing the sausage add on and there was no corn or potato in my bag, but my wife had one in hers. So quality control was disappointing during a non rush hour from what my wife reported when she came into the restaurant. I hope our next to go order will have no issues.

Yelp
We came here to celebrate our 1 year anniversary since we've been wanting to try this since...well...since we started dating. Haha. Seemed only fitting. We decided to get their Shack Mixed Bag which came with snow crab, head off shrimp, lobster tail, 1 corn, and 1 red potato. The food came out very quickly which was nice because we saved our appetite for this meal. We were able to obtain 2 sauces because my fiancé likes spicy and I am trying to build my like of it. The food was delicious and we finished it soon after it arrived. We did have to ask for crab crackers as the snow crab legs were not easy to crack open. We were looking to have some of those big crab legs that we see on IG but they are not guaranteed to have it. (Insert sadface). We enjoyed our time dining here.

Yelp
Came here last night with my cousins for the first time, and we were all happy. We were seated fast, the outside was cute and lit up. The inside wasn't crowded, so that was great. Our server was amazing and funny! He guided us through the menu and gave us great tips. We all ended up with bags of deliciousness. We peeled, cracked, and sopped up the sauce until we were full. I had this place saved in my Vegas collection, and I am so glad we went.

Yelp
Review #34 of 2023 May 15 visit Meh... The Seafood Boil was underwhelming. I don't complain when I eat out for my own reasons. Corn, and potatoes lacked flavor. The sausages tasted awkward for our Surf no Turf flavored with trifecta sauce. Our Server Gage did work hard with the service he gave us. Cool young man with great work ethic. Cool vibes and connected well with my family. Unsure if we will go back as the palate was not satisfied.

Yelp
They have good fried foods I enjoy the basket that I ate the tartar sauce wasn't hitting but the fries was fresh and seasoned well.

Yelp
My husband and I came here today and had a bad experience with our waiter Andrea she attempted to steal money from us by not giving us the right amount back she owed us in change our total due was 45.52 and our change due was 54.48 bcuz we paid with a 100 bill and she instead gave us 45 back and tried saying we owed 54 after I confronted it she was trying to play mind games bcuz the receipt clearly said what we owed and she was even pointing at the change due we were supposed to get back saying that's how much we owed trying to flip the amounts and another worker read the receipt and said I'm correct then Andrea finally decided she was caught in her scheme and gave me the rest of my money that was owed in change she thought we were stupid and I wonder how many other people she did this too trying to pocket own tips which is real wrong bcuz we were gonna tip her but we didn't get the right amount back she owed in change my husband and I loved coming here and the foods always good they just have a un honest employee and she should be fired because even with proof of our receipt she still continued to lie to make extra cash
google avatar

Yelp
We loved our experience here. Gage our server did a great job explaining how the menu works. I had the most delicious twin lobster rolls with melted butter. My husband ordered the shrimp po boy. The calamari was served in sticks and they were very meaty pieces. Their cocktails were great too. They make you feel you are on vacation. Overall fun experience!
google avatar

Yelp
Angry Crab Shack made hangry me.. happy! Cass was our server and she was awesome! Started off with the catfish basket which came with sweet potato fries and coleslaw (you can choose what sides you want with it) and the fried sampler - we chose wings, calamari, and fried shrimp (also chosen from a few different items), and the angry edamame. The fried shrimp and cocktail sauce was the best part of the basket! For our main meal we chose the seafood boil, family style, and got muscles, shrimp, and snow crab. The shrimp, although a little tough to peel, was good but the crab was the star of the show. I love that this place is nestled in the middle of Henderson so you don't have to try far to get your seafood fix! Will definitely come back and order the fried shrimp basket next time!

Yelp
FOOOOOD WAS BUSSSSINNNNN.... Definitely will be coming here again. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. The sauces were great. Sausage FLAVORFUL. Which it's hard to find a good sausage with broils, shrimp was good. Drinks were good. Just go, don't worry it's bomb

Angel G.

Yelp
It was my husband's birthday dinner of choice, but he doesn't like attention so we didn't tell the waitress, but she was amazing and made our experience so great as if she knew it was a special occasion. We got the boil for two which was the perfect amount and got the house sauce which is all of the seasonings combined for $125. Thank you so much angry crab shack!

Yelp
Angry Crab Shack was at the top of my list of restaurants I really wanted to visit while in Vegas. I was first introduced to Angry Crab while visiting friend in Mesa Arizona. I love cajun seafood and was truly impressed with this business so when I realized they were also located in Vegas I had to indulge. We were seated right away in a nice corner booth. I think the restaurant was not so busy because it was like 5:30 pm which during the winter time in Vegas it's dark already. So dinner time. Our waitress Takiya was great. She had a beautiful smile and was very friendly. I ordered a Sweet Peach Lemonade with Deep Eddy Peach Vodka and lemonade which was delicious. Once our drinks came Takiya took our food order which was great because I was hungry... the whole restaurant had that amazing cajun smell and I couldn't wait to dig in. I ordered snow crab legs and heads off shrimp with potato's and corn and for spices Takiya suggested Cajun, Lemmon pepper and garlic sauce. Boy was I not disappointed. I ate every bit of crab I could dig out of those legs. The corn and potatoes were so delicious and just added to the great flavor. My lips were burning, but I just couldn't stop eating. Everything just went so we together. The restaurant is a pretty good size with lots of tables, but spread out for great social distancing. The floors were clean and the bathrooms were equally clean. Their walls are very unique. You can get a sharpie pens from the front and write anything you want on the walls. Most people just write their names and the date, but it's a cool concept. The cost to eat such an amazing meal was another great thing about Angry Crab Shack. I like in Hawaii and it cost a lot to enjoy any type of seafood. We left feeling full and content. I really wish someone buys a franchise and opens in Hawaii. We could really use more great Cajun crab boil restaurants. I know that they do serve other great dishes, but it's all about the crab for me. I am so looking forward to visiting and writing my name on more Angry Crab Shack walls around the United States. Thank you Angry Crab Shack and Takiya for a great experience

Yelp
We've been here several times now, but I haven't written a review each time. Trying to correct that error now. Went in for lunch with the Mrs & daughter & once again had a pretty darn good meal. We started out with the sampler & I'm happy to say they had sliced pickles, not the spears. Like before, I had the Gator Nuggets with fries & red beans, my favorite dish here. (One of these days I gotta try something new.) The Mrs went with a crab cake sandwich & fries with a Bloody Mary, while the daughter had catfish. Large fillets of catfish that she really enjoyed. Beto was our server & was just great. Friendly & helpful he checked on us often. The place was almost empty, more employees than customers, but we were early. The TV's were showing various sports & the decorations of turtles, mermaids & more were pretty neat.

Yelp
Great lunch special for $15 bucks including soft drink Crab shrimp corn and potato You pick your favorite spicy and heat level foods
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
Great location with decent prices. It's seafood so it is a little expensive. We did the family meal and added green muscles, we also had the sampler appetizer. Important info: I love spice, the medium has little to no heat even the people who didn't like heat thought it was a bit underwhelming (flavor was great though) the hot was a building heat but hotter than typical. I also got the hottest one that was much hotter but not the hottest compared to other restaurants. That's not a bad thing at all. I was surprised with how well the meat kept its flavor and the heat complimented it without covering the flavor. Simply great sauce, The hush puppy's were super tasty with a bit of a kick. Fried pickles we're some of the best I had. Calamari was as you would expect. Service overall was good. Plenty of water, sauces, and so on. https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSREEhaA5/

Yelp
This place is so awesome! And if you have a big group for sure, come on down! This place has a lot of space as well. Not only do they have great seafood, but they have amazing cocktails! The service was amazing. Everyone is so friendly here! We had the big lobster and crab pot, lobster rolls, oysters, and the lobster crostini. All is very good!
google avatar

Danelle Z.

Yelp
I ordered the Dungeness crab and clam boil. They both tasted fresh and the clams were perfect size and delicious. I've ordered it twice and both times I chose mild (wimpy) for the spice level and both times it was super spicy. Best to go with Me No Likey Spice level if you can't handle the heat.

Yelp
This was my first time coming here since Joes Crab Shack closed and Angry Crab Shack took its place. I'll talk about the service first: It was wonderful! Our server and every other person my family interacted with were extremely nice, informative, and attentive. The food was fairly priced and I felt like you got good value. We purchased the $75 combo with 2 lobster tails and 3 pounds of head off shrimp, potatoes and corn, and it fed all of us with plenty of leftover shrimp for later. The flavor we got (Trifecta) was amazing, and we got the mild, which was just enough spice for the kids without burning their mouths. It was a beautiful summer night and the temperature was just perfect to sit outside. Gone is the sand pit we could send our kids to play in, but the kids enjoyed sitting on the benches with their gloves and aprons, peeling shrimp and breaking crab legs. I have heard that they sometimes have gigantic whole lobsters available for a couple hundred bucks, so I will definitely be returning for either another boil for one of those giant Kaiju Lobsters. Great time, and glad we finally came! Super glad we came and we will definitely return again soon.

Yelp
This is a really fun place to go! Great for a laid back first date or for families. The prices are high but that's to be expected with any good seafood. If you are new to oysters, I highly recommend the fried oysters. Great drinks at the bar here and really friendly service.

Yelp
I really love angry crab typically. Let's start with the good. The service had a few hiccups but once my real server cam it was better...Lela-she was n8ce friendly and understanding. We started with a different person and....I guess there was a miss communication with what we were saying and what she heard...lol we ordered head on shrimp traditional boil spice level 3 substitute butter (instead of water) but got head on shrimp in butter no seasoning. So Lela took it back and it was pretty clear they just added the seasonings on top so it wasn't as flavorful as it typically is I asked for a potato with my crab legs and mussels but got corn...not a big deal but not what I asked for. I had to wait for my wife's food to come back so mine was alittle cold all and all it was okay just not what we are used to okay not great...like in phx

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this place for months, and we had a friend in town and so we decided to go for it! Our server Courtney was awesome! She was super fun and helpful and had a good sense of humor. She took care of us. My wife and our guest enjoyed the hush puppies very much. My wife also had the peel and eat shrimp which she said were excellent and she enjoyed her red beans and rice very much. I had one bite of the latter and it was delicious. I started out with a Gumbo and I think it was the best I've had in many many years. Actually I think it's the best outside of New Orleans. I will definitely be having that again. We got the boil for two and added some lobster claws which was a special. The lobster claws really didn't have any meat in them it was quite strange. The boil was delicious and prepared just as we asked. The king crab was also a little weird, there wasn't much meat in there. The snow crab was perfection as was the shrimp, potatoes and corn. The sausage in the boil was pretty much life-changing! We both took a moment to savor that specifically. The lobster tail was also very good. Overall we enjoyed Angry Crab very much and we will be returning.

Yelp
I took my family to try out this place, it looked good. but after going in it took about 5 min before we were seated, which they were not busy at all. then after being seated we sat there for at least 15min. no one even came over to acknowledge that we were there, one waitress saw us sitting there did not even say anything to us. this is a place that we will NOT be returning to at ALL!!! we left before even ordering, and the food is all alacart. The prices are a bit on the high side too.

Yelp
This place has been around for quite some time and we were able to give it a try for my husband's birthday celebration. We were expecting a lot more than what we got, and the bill was not worth the food and the quality of the seafood we tried. I would have loved to find another place in town we'd be able to go to when craving seafood, but this place did not hit that spot unfortunately. When we arrived in the afternoon, there were not a lot of people in the restaurant, but there is a lot of space, so if their menu was altered, they'd probably get a better chance at getting more people in the door. The decor is similar to a boiling crab style, so it's very relaxed. Our server was nice, and explained what family options would be good, recommended some of the items off the menu, and quickly brought us our drinks. Now, the food..... The food was just not good.... We tried the 5 cheese shrimp and crab dip, and that looked like it was microwaved, or just sitting in a soup pot all day with green onions on top, it was bland, not cheesy, and we didn't see or taste any of the blue crab the restaurant advertises it has in it. We had the fried sampler and chose calamari and fried shrimp. The calamari was not fresh, it was frozen, deep fried, and tasted like rubber, and the shrimp was oily. We also tried the family feast to share. They brought us a big mixing bowl with our food, and got spice level 4. The only thing that tasted fresh out of our meal was the crab, which was hard to believe since the shrimp tasted overcooked, and our lobster was also overcooked. There was no flavor in our seafood, despite it being drenched in their spices also. Overall, this location would be a great place to have a seafood restaurant; but I will not be back. When we go to a seafood, crab shack, shrimp shack, anything that's from the SEA, we're looking for authenticity, and though we are nowhere near the beach, we're also looking for decent tasting seafood that will at least make us remember why we love the beach.

Yelp
My wife and I were in the mood for some seafood. We decided to try a bunch of small dishes. We had raw oysters. a seafood platter with catfish fried oysters and jumbo fried shrimp. Soft shell fried crab and an order of crab cakes. First off, nothing was fresh. Everything was pre-made frozen food. The soft shell crab was overcooked. The raw oysters were warm. The fried oysters tasted like sewage. The cocktail sauce tasted like plain tomato paste, and what I believe was supposed to be dill horseradish tasted like dirt. All together, it was over $70 for food my dogs wouldn't eat after I got home.. the place looked good. It had a good vibe but not worth going inside... service was OK other than while my wife was in the restroom the bus boy/helper decided to go into the women's restroom...

Yelp
So unfortunately the food was so good I didn't take pictures of the actual boil! I will say this, this place is absolutely delicious and fairly priced and I definitely will be back. My boyfriend and I shared the Surf No Turf and their Bread for Soppin and it was absolutely delicious. The seasoning was flavorful, the heat was great and the atmosphere was very casual. They give you a lot of food in the boil and my boyfriend end and I even had leftovers. We got their apple crumble for dessert and that was even more delicious. The service here was also super spectacular! Our server Takiya was super nice and she made sure to continue checking on our table throughout our time there. The manager was also super sweet, we had to move to a different space in the restaurant and she gave us a discount for the inconvenience. Lastly, another server was carrying around a crab named Jeremy prior to our food arriving and let us pet him and roam on our table a bit. Such a great dining experience!

Yelp
My friend and I decided to try a new seafood boil place and let me tell you they did not disappoint. First off just from walking up to the restaurant you can SMELL the seafood. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and was seated pretty quickly. The price was reasonable especially compared to other seafood places. The servers were so accommodating and very very nice. Now let's talk about the food! The flavors was THERE and nothing was over cooked! The only thing that I wishes they had more on was the sauce. Personally I love drenching my seafood in the sauce and I felt as if we didn't really get much sauce in the bag but overall it was really good experience can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I went to Angry Crab Shack with my family as we were in the seafood boil type of mood and were pleasantly surprised with how fantastic the experience was. We had Cass as our server. She was really lovely and attentive to my large family and was really patient with us as we asked questions about the menu. We ended up ordering a few pounds of shrimp, crab, and mussels but also got the catfish, edamame, fried shrimp, and lemon pepper fries which was more than enough food for 7 people. The food itself was pretty good. The sauce may not be as rich in flavor as Boiling Crab or Hot N Juicy but the size of the seafood ordered as well as the attentiveness of the server and how quickly the food came out made up for that. The price was also significantly cheaper than what we normally pay at other seafood boil places. Overall, I really recommend the place if you are looking for a seafood boil type of place.

Yelp
This place is amazing and especially the lunch specials for $15 each from 11am-3pm. We got the boil bag and since there were 3 of us we got 2 boil bags for $30 and it was more than enough for us and the flavor is amazing. Jose was our server and he rocks! I highly suggest this place and the atmosphere is nice too. 10/10Boil BagsBoil Bags

Yelp
I went to dinner with my husband last night. I wanted to find a new spot for seafood, so I found this place from Google! Yay! We ordered lobster crostini, gumbo soup, and seafood boil (lobster). Since it was our first time, we needed some recommendation. Beto was our server! He was delight and knowledgable person! We loved every menu he recommended! We loved his joke too! We really enjoyed our dinner! Overall, we definitely come back!! Thank you, Beto!!

Yelp
Got a grilled shrimp poboy which was not up to standard at all. The shrimp were undercooked as they were still translucent. I think they were even spoiled because they were slimy. I threw the shrimp away and was left with a soggy bun and wilted lettuce. Total disappointment.

Yelp
Awesome. We brought our toddler and they asked if he wanted to meet a lobster while we were looking at the aquarium. He loved it. The only way the service could have been better is if Candy sat next to me and cracked crab legs for me so I could shovel them into my mouth faster.

Yelp
Excellent seafood! We had a variety of dishes to share: hush puppies, Queen Crab, Lobster Crostini, EZ Peek-and-eat Shrimp, and Edamame. Seasoned perfectly and the sauces brought even more flavor. Jose, the Manager, checked in on our experience and introduced us to Jerry, one of the live lobsters. Service was just as good as the meal. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, good food, great service. I miss the days of Joe's Crab Shack, where they had these big buckets with all your food and ordering was easy. These guys are a close second. Once you figure out how to order what you want, the food is worth it. It's sort of à la carte. Friendly service too. Lots of tvs everywhere. I'll be going back.

Yelp
The food was good. The service was good, but it was overpriced for me. I can get the same basic food at other places in town ,some better, some worse for less money.

Yelp
June 15, 2022 - Crawfish was calling me, so Angry Crab Shack we went. You must try the 5 Cheese Crab and Shrimp Dip! I got a fellow diner to order it as well and he enjoyed it. The young man hostess, very pleasant, made me smile! Takiya good service! Apologies for a short review. Food and service is always good here. Head on down with good company for good food and I guarantee you a good meal!

Yelp
It was such a delicious experience! Beto was very attentive, and comfortable while helping me choose my indecisive order ! Beto's recommendations for the food really helped, and DEFINITELY was everything I needed this night! Food was fast, and brought very timely! Highly recommend going in on Wednesdays & Thursdays-- It's always a good crowd and a wholesome scene on those days, Bar Included !!

Yelp
I've been waiting to try this place. So my friends where in town and we wanted to do happy hour and went here. I will say now is not the time to go for happy hour. It's really just beer specials and a cocktail special. No food and nothing to write home about. We did. Talk to the new manager and she mention they were looking into changing happy hour. It needs to be more happier!! Other than that the food was good. I never heard of naked shrimp boil before so I paid the extra, I think, $10 to make them naked. I think you build your own boil, but I would if they included more than just the meat with the price. Overall the sauce was good but need a tad bit more in the bag. I also got a side of grits and they were ok. My friends had the twin lobster rolls and they were happy with them. No filler just meat, and a lot of it. Looked awesome. Our server was really nice... she was also the bartender. The place has your typical boil vibe. Overall good food and service. I wish their happy hour was better.

Yelp
1. Service was good. The food taste good BUT, it's way to expensive. This was the smallest boil bag I have ever seen in my life. There wasn't enough sauce on it and the bag was for 2. We didn't get any lemons with it and it was warm. I found this place from an Instagram post and it was super hyped up. I like to support the places on IG and I haven't been let down by the recommendations, but this place disappointed me. It was nothing like I saw online. The lobster tail was so small I was afraid to order the whole lobster because I wasn't sure what I would be getting.
